Wei Chen pointed to an island several dozen miles away and said calmly, "Let's go check out that island and see the power of the Sea Tribe. We can also show the Sea Tribe our strength."
The island was large and clearly visible from a distance. Since entering the Endless Sea, it was the biggest island Wei Chen had seen, surrounded by a significant number of Sea Tribe members.
However, Wei Chen was not afraid; he did not regard those Sea Tribe members as a threat.
In fact, even if there were more Sea Tribe members—hundreds of thousands—he would still not be concerned.
The Soul Beasts surrounding the Warship were of high rank, far beyond what ordinary Sea Tribe could compare to.
Unless the top-tier Sea Tribe sent out tens of thousands at once, Wei Chen would pay them some attention. The usual Sea Tribe were like cannon fodder; even if they sent out hundreds of thousands, his Soul Beasts could easily wipe them out in no time.
With just a few charges, they could disperse all the souls of those Sea Tribe members.
Lynn Luyao frowned and asked, "Young Mistress, are you confident in dealing with so many Sea Tribe members?"
"It's not about my confidence; it's that they wouldn't dare to take the initiative against us. The Sea Tribe isn't that foolish. They will only observe until they receive orders," Wei Chen replied.
He was right. The Sea Tribe gathered around that island had not received any orders, which is why they did not charge recklessly. Even if they did, Wei Chen wouldn’t care. He could sense that the strength of the Sea Tribe here was quite mediocre.
"Alright then." Lynn Luyao nodded, feeling there was nothing more to say. Since Wei Chen was so confident, why should she doubt him?
As they traveled, Lynn Luyao increasingly realized that Wei Chen was a person of great depth.
That kind of confidence, along with an unintentional air of arrogance, showcased to Lynn Luyao that Wei Chen had his own backing and hidden cards, making him unafraid of the Sea Tribe. She thought to herself: if he didn’t have any support, would Wei Chen dare to come here? Would the Dark Mage allow him to come?
Soon, the Warship arrived above the island, hovering in place. Wei Chen and the Demon Lotus Emperor jumped down from the Warship, landing steadily on the sandy beach of the island.
Yan Qiqi and Lynn Luyao remained on the Warship, their situation unclear. If they were to come down now, it would create significant obstacles for Wei Chen's plans.
If one were to ask what Wei Chen's plan was, it was essentially that he had no plan at all. He intended to take things one step at a time, looking for opportunities to cultivate in the Seven Emotions and Six Desires Realm, without any specific strategy in mind. Lynn Luyao felt similarly; if she could find a chance to inquire about her Nineteen Years, she would ask, but if not, she would simply go with the flow.
As they ventured deeper into the Endless Sea, Lynn Luyao noticed the scenery of the Endless Sea. There was no sign of awakening regarding her lost memories of the Nineteen Years...
Thinking hard would not yield any answers.
When Wei Chen had looked into Lynn Luyao's Sea of Consciousness regarding that matter, he found everything normal within her Sea of Consciousness—there were no restrictions preventing her from accessing her memories of the Nineteen Years. This meant that the memories Lynn Luyao had lost were forgotten by her own volition and not forced upon her by someone else.
Perhaps during those Nineteen Years, she had no memories at all and had simply been asleep?
On the island, there were many members of the Sea Tribe, but they concealed themselves and did not reveal their presence. Upon seeing two humans, the Sea Tribe members were excited, panting heavily as they hid deep within the forest, their breaths clearly audible.
Wei Chen scanned his surroundings and sneered, "A bunch of cowards. Is this what all Sea Tribe members are like?"
"I am Black Demon Wei Chen, Young Master of the Dark Demon Clan. Please send your leader out."
Wei Chen spoke with a look of disdain on his face.
From deep within the forest came rustling sounds. Moments later, a middle-aged member of the Sea Tribe clad in armor stepped forward. Behind him were four formidable guards, all dressed in similar armor.
The armor worn by the Sea Tribe was crafted from various beast scales found in the Endless Sea. While its defensive capabilities were average, it was worth a fortune. After all, in a resource-scarce environment like that of the Sea Tribe, possessing a piece of armor required a certain level of status.
The Sea Tribe people looked quite similar to the human race on the mainland. However, behind their ear lobes, there was an additional net-like structure, which was essential for their underwater existence. With that feature, they could easily live both underwater and above it. When above water, they breathed through their noses, just like ordinary humans.
The Sea Tribe in the Demon Realm differed somewhat from the Sea Tribe in the Soul World. In the Soul World, the net-like structure was located inside their nasal cavities, making it invisible and not affecting their appearance. In contrast, the Sea Tribe in the Demon Realm had their breathing gills protruding behind their ear lobes. Women were less conspicuous as they could cover their heads, but men were different; some had shorter gills that were clearly visible.
Honestly, it was quite an unattractive sight...
It resembled a net-like red birthmark with some filaments moving about, which was somewhat unsettling.
Upon seeing that middle-aged man, Wei Chen suddenly felt that the Sea Tribe of the Soul World seemed more sophisticated than those in the Demon Realm!
The Sea Tribe here was clearly different from humans and rather unappealing.
The Sea Tribe of the Soul World consisted entirely of handsome men and beautiful women, unlike the ugly ones found in the Demon Realm.
The middle-aged man squinted as he scrutinized Wei Chen and said calmly, "Your Excellency, what brings you to my Sea Tribe's territory? The Sea Tribe and the Black Magic Clan have no ties; we keep to ourselves. Why do you speak so disrespectfully?"
The middle-aged man maintained a certain level of respect for Wei Chen.
After all, Wei Chen's status was significant; he was a member of the Dark Magic Royal Family and a grandson of a Dark Mage. The Sea Tribe had certainly heard of him. Don’t think that the Sea Tribe simply hid within the Endless Sea and ignored worldly affairs; in fact, they paid considerable attention to the happenings on the mainland. While they couldn’t send spies themselves, some coastal fishermen had been bribed to serve as channels for information about the mainland.
Wei Chen’s affairs were well-known among the higher-ups of the Sea Tribe. The rise and fall of the Black Magic Clan were crucial matters; Wei Chen’s emergence indicated that there was still hope for the Black Magic Clan’s future, something that the Sea Tribe could not be unaware of.
Wei Chen looked at the middle-aged man and replied coolly, "I am merely passing through and wish to witness your Sea Tribe's strength. However, your capabilities are not impressive; I have no interest in staying long."
After a pause, Wei Chen continued, "I would like to meet your Sea Emperor. Please notify him; we will wait here."
Wei Chen called out to the Demon Lotus Emperor and flew back to the Warship.
The middle-aged man negotiated with his subordinates for a while before hurriedly disappearing.
"Wei Chen, do you really want to meet the Sea Emperor?" The Demon Lotus Emperor looked at Wei Chen in confusion. Was he out of his mind? What could he possibly want with the Sea Emperor?
Wei Chen nodded and said, "Now that we're at the Endless Sea, wouldn't it be a pity not to meet the Sea Emperor?"
The Demon Lotus Emperor replied, "You're crazy. The Sea Emperor's strength is definitely on par with your grandfather's. In this vast ocean, the Sea Emperor's combat power is likely much stronger than your grandfather's. Meeting the Sea Emperor is truly courting death."
"Heh, is there really a need to compare strength? Even as the Young Master of the Dark Demon Clan, if I want to see him, he will certainly receive me with high standards," Wei Chen said confidently.
The Demon Lotus Emperor thought about it and decided not to say more.
Lynn Luyao looked worried and whispered, "Young Mistress, do you think the Sea Emperor will meet you?"
"What do you think?" Wei Chen asked Lynn Luyao with a cheerful smile.
Lynn Luyao hesitated for a moment before nodding. "He should."
"It’s not just 'should'; it’s 'definitely will.'"
Wei Chen paused for a moment and continued, "The Sea Emperor is not some divine being. If I want to see him, does he have any reason to refuse?"
Unbeknownst to him, Wei Chen's imposing aura had risen another level.
The aura of the higher-ups grew increasingly intense.
The Dark Demon Clan Young Master, without a doubt, was among the upper echelons in the Demon Realm, with very few individuals holding a higher status than him.
The Demon Lotus Emperor sighed, feeling speechless towards Wei Chen. This fellow, who initially had no desire to be any kind of upper echelon, was now starting to act with the authority of one.
The Demon Lotus Emperor understood well that once someone became enamored with that feeling, there was no turning back. Wei Chen would only venture further down the path of the upper echelons. Only by possessing a certain status could one maneuver through various matters more conveniently. For instance, meeting the Sea Emperor—would it be possible for anyone else?
But Wei Chen dared to openly make such a request, and it was very likely that the Sea Emperor would agree.
Without that layer of identity, Wei Chen would have been besieged by the Sea Tribe as soon as he landed on the island. The Sea Tribe refrained from attacking out of respect for the Black Magic Clan's Warship, not because they feared the strength of the Soul Beasts surrounding it. The Sea Tribe on this island was generally weak, with their Mental Strength pitifully low, unable to sense the presence of those Soul Beasts.
After about an hour, a middle-aged man appeared again. He flew in front of the Warship and clasped his fists towards Wei Chen, who was enjoying the scenery on the deck. "Respected Dark Demon Clan Young Master, the Sea Emperor agrees to meet with you, but he is currently occupied with important matters and cannot welcome you in person. I hope you understand."
"Alright. Just tell me how to proceed," Wei Chen replied calmly.
The middle-aged man pointed to a location behind him and said, "Follow south for five hundred thousand miles, and you will see a massive island spanning ten thousand miles. The Sea Emperor is handling affairs there."
He quickly added, "Respected Dark Demon Clan Young Master, it is important to note that our Sea Emperor is one of the four great Sea Emperors, known as the Southern Sea Emperor."
Upon hearing this, Wei Chen was taken aback, while the Demon Lotus Emperor frowned and Lynn Luyao looked puzzled. Was there really more than one Sea Emperor?
What did this imply?
In comparison, wasn't the strongest tier of the Sea Tribe even stronger than that of humanity?
There are only the Three Great Clans of the human race and three Demon Emperors!
"Are you saying there are also the Eastern Sea Emperor, Northern Sea Emperor, and Western Sea Emperor?" Wei Chen squinted at the middle-aged man and asked lightly.
The middle-aged man replied matter-of-factly, "Of course. This sea area belongs to the South Sea Region, which is under the domain of our Southern Sea Emperor. Surrounding your Three Great Clans, there are three Sea Emperors. To the west of the Dark Demon Clan is the Western Sea Emperor, to the north of the Dragon Clan is the Northern Sea Emperor, and to the east, beyond the wild lands, is the sea controlled by the Eastern Sea Emperor."
The middle-aged man continued proudly, "Our Southern Sea is the strongest among the four great sea regions."
Wei Chen quietly observed him; his words were filled with pride and confidence, indicating he was not lying.
This information was extremely valuable; even Dark Mages were unaware of such matters.
So, Wei Chen wondered why White Out would allow him to know this news so casually.
His eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the middle-aged man and coldly asked, "This is a secret of your Sea Tribe, isn't it? The Three Great Races of the Demon Realm are unaware of this information."
"Indeed, this news has never been leaked," the middle-aged man answered.
Upon hearing this, Wei Chen sneered, "Then why are you telling me?"
