Listening to Sea Emperor Nanfeng's words, Wei Chen fell into deep thought.
Indeed, Sea Emperor Nanfeng was absolutely right. After all, Philippe King had painstakingly shaped the new Sea Tribe bloodline in Lynn Luyao, and it was impossible for her to be aiming to control the human race. Wei Chen looked at Sea Emperor Nanfeng and said calmly, "You make a valid point. I promise you that I will do my best to help you eliminate Philippe King. But you must promise me one thing in return."
Sea Emperor Nanfeng smiled and replied, "What is it that you want? Aside from the throne of the Sea Tribe and the title of Sea Emperor, I can grant you anything else."
Upon hearing this, Wei Chen's lips curled into a strange smile.
"I want to visit the domain of that deity; ideally, I would like to converse with that deity."
Wei Chen's request seemed simple on the surface.
But in reality, Sea Emperor Nanfeng knew just how difficult it would be.
It was incredibly challenging!
Sea Emperor Nanfeng looked at Wei Chen seriously and refused, "Wei Chenyu, I have my reasons; I cannot agree to this request."
"Why not?" Wei Chen asked.
"It’s simple. That deity doesn’t like to be disturbed. If you go there, I can guarantee you won’t come back alive. You are a human, not one of us from the Sea Tribe. Even for us from the Sea Tribe, it’s very difficult and dangerous to go there," Sea Emperor Nanfeng said seriously.
Wei Chen smiled and replied, "I’m not afraid of danger."
"Maybe you’re not afraid, but I am. If you die in our Sea Tribe, even if it’s because of Philippe King, what good would that do? I would offend your entire Black Magic Clan, and from then on, the South Sea Sea Clan would be in turmoil."
Sea Emperor Nanfeng had his own concerns. If Wei Chen encountered trouble in the South Sea Region, one could only imagine how furious the Dark Mage would be.
That would bring disaster upon the entire South Sea Sea Clan.
Thus, Sea Emperor Nanfeng could not agree to Wei Chen's condition.

"But how could I pass up the opportunity to meet a deity?"

Wei Chen speculated that even a mere touch of divine power from a deity could propel him through his Seven Emotions and Six Desires Realm. The power of a god was truly transcendent; even if that deity were injured and severely weakened, they would still be a god.
In fact, Wei Chen guessed that the power of the Sea God was even greater than that of gods who could shape a Spatial Plane.
Just like Wei Chen himself, he could create a Spatial Plane, which was becoming increasingly perfected within him. Once his internal Spatial Plane was fully refined, he would become a god of that Spatial Plane, capable of creating life within it and altering it at will according to his desires.
However, that Sea God could transcend their own Spatial Plane and create life in an entirely new realm like the Demon Domain. Their strength must surely surpass that of an ordinary god who merely controlled a Spatial Plane.
To meet such a deity—even if it were just for casual conversation—would be considered a success as long as he could survive.
The power of a god, no matter how weak it might seem, should never be underestimated.
Wei Chen was well aware of the terror of Divine Power. From the moment he learned that a god existed deep within the Endless Sea, he had made up his mind.
He could not return from the Endless Sea without gaining something! He was determined to see that god, no matter what it took!
There was a fervent gleam in Wei Chen's eyes; even though he hid his true thoughts deep within, the passion in his gaze was undeniable.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng observed this clearly. In Wei Chen's eyes, there flickered a notion that could only be described as madness.
Seeing that look in Wei Chen's eyes, Sea Emperor Nanfeng felt a sense of helplessness. It seemed this young man had made up his mind to court death.
"Sea Emperor, I want to meet that god. If you can't take me there, just tell me the approximate coordinates, and I'll go myself."
Wei Chen looked at Sea Emperor Nanfeng with an unstoppable determination, speaking each word deliberately.
Seeing Wei Chen's demeanor, Sea Emperor Nanfeng thought to himself that this was bad news; the young man was simply obstinate!
With a wry smile, Sea Emperor Nanfeng said, "Wei Chenyu, do you really want to seek death?"

If I continue to muddle along like this, who knows how long it will take for me to break through to the next realm, the Seven Emotions and Six Desires Realm? Each step in the Seven Emotions and Six Desires Realm requires profound understanding, and I don't want to take it slow."
"Meeting that god is my best chance. Moreover, I believe that if I go there and have a face-to-face conversation with that god, I have confidence that he won't kill me," Wei Chen said calmly.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng furrowed his brows as he looked at Wei Chen, pondering what kind of backing this young man had to be so bold. Or perhaps there was some secret hidden within him that even that god would hesitate to harm?
Silence.
A long period of silence.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng's expression shifted as he remained silent for a long time.
He was thinking.
He was calculating.
He was calculating the survival probability of Wei Chen meeting that deity.
The result of the calculation was zero.
No matter how one thought about it, if Wei Chen went, it would be a death sentence.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng had once "met" that deity, who had assigned the task of selecting Sea Tribe members without cultivation gifts as Servants, which led to Sea Emperor Nanfeng being driven away. Wei Chen smiled and nodded, saying, "Before I meet that deity, my friends will be waiting outside. Wei Chen chuckled and said, "I just want to see what the situation is like in the Philippine Sea. After dealing with Philippe King, I'll head out immediately. To be honest, I'm itching to go."
Hearing this, Sea Emperor Nanfeng was speechless. Eager to seek death?
The warship moved forward slowly; only the Demon Lotus Emperor could hear the conversation between Wei Chen and Sea Emperor Nanfeng. The Demon Lotus Emperor had placed a trace of Divine Soul Power on Wei Chen; if Wei Chen wanted him to hear it, he wouldn't suppress that Divine Soul Power. If even the Demon Lotus Emperor needed to avoid something, Wei Chen would release a trace of Divine Soul Power to suppress the one left on him by the Demon Lotus Emperor. In that case, the Demon Lotus Emperor wouldn't be able to hear Wei Chen's conversations with others.
After chatting with Wei Chen for a while, Sea Emperor Nanfeng went to instruct his subordinates. The warship was about to enter the territory of the Philippine Sea; it was time to prepare properly.
The Demon Lotus Emperor approached Wei Chen and whispered, "Wei Chen, I heard everything you just said to Sea Emperor Nanfeng."
"I know; I intended for you to hear it. What do you think?" Wei Chen asked casually.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng replied, "I have no opinion; you're courting death."
"What's wrong? You don't trust me either?" Wei Chen laughed.
"It's not a matter of trust. If you want to seek death, I won't stop you. I've been through many life-and-death situations, but none were as terrifying as a god. So if you want to go looking for death, I won't hold you back; in fact, I want to go with you. Meeting a god would be extremely beneficial for my Time Martial Soul."
The Demon Lotus Emperor looked at Wei Chen with eager eyes. How could one not seize such an opportunity to meet a god?
Even if it meant death, what did that matter?
A god, a powerful god! A being capable of shaping and controlling everything within the Spatial Plane, referred to as a god in legends! The kind of power that could transcend their own Spatial Plane and venture into others to shape humanity—what kind of strength was that?
The Demon Lotus Emperor speculated that such a god was far more powerful than one who could only reign supreme in their own Spatial Plane.
Being with Wei Chen always led to some strange occurrences, and in the end, Wei Chen always managed to resolve them safely. This built an unspoken confidence in Wei Chen over time.
