Wei Chen had always tried to persuade the Great Xia Divine King not to harbor any delusions.
So why did the conversation suddenly shift to teaching him methods to defeat the Godslayer?
This Great Xia Divine King was quite the enigma!
Wei Chen quickly stopped in his tracks, smiling as he looked at the Great Xia Divine King and said lightly, "Senior, you’ve also been tempted, haven’t you?"
"Hmph, I just don’t want to watch you throw your life away. Once you’re dead, I’m finished too. I still have a great revenge to take; I don’t want to die yet," replied the Great Xia Divine King.
Wei Chen chuckled, "It’s the same for me. Do you have any good strategies?"
"I don’t have a good strategy; I just want to tell you that the Heart of the God has a fatal weakness."
"What weakness?"
"Material attacks and physical force are useless against the Heart of the God. The only thing that works is a Mental Attack, which can penetrate through layers of defenses and reach the Heart of the God. Your Mental Strength is quite decent; perhaps you can utilize it."
The Great Xia Divine King waved his hand, giving Wei Chen a deep look before continuing, "This is all I can tell you. You’ll have to figure out the rest on your own."
"Perfect! My Mental Strength isn’t bad at all."
With a hearty laugh, Wei Chen exited the Sea of Consciousness.
Alone in the depths of Wei Chen's Sea of Consciousness, the Great Xia Divine King slightly closed his eyes and murmured, "Child, I hope you succeed. Otherwise, my old life will truly be forfeit."
…
On the warship, Wei Chen "awoke." After his conversation with the Great Xia Divine King, he felt much more confident about facing that deity.
A normal person like Wei Chen could only keep his head down, not daring to show even a hint of disrespect.
But that god was not an ordinary deity; it was a god weakened countless times, imprisoned at the bottom of the Endless Sea, unable to escape...
Such a god might still find an opportunity, right?
Wei Chen was looking forward to it.
As for whether he could find that opportunity, he wasn't too concerned at the moment. When the time came, everything would be clear. For now, he just wanted to seek a chance to break through the realm of emotions and desires, and that was enough.
He kept his thoughts to himself, not sharing them with anyone, not even the Demon Lotus Emperor.
Regarding the distinctions between Boundary God, First-Level Deity, Secondary God, Fifth-Level Deity, and even Supreme God, Wei Chen did not discuss it with the Demon Lotus Emperor. Although he trusted the Demon Lotus Emperor greatly, there was no point in discussing such matters since they were still far from reaching that level.
After a conversation with the Great Xia Divine King, Wei Chen experienced a revelation; he saw a whole new world—the Divine Realm.
He had thought that the Ancient World was the strongest, but little did he know that an even more powerful Divine Realm existed.
The Divine Realm transcended humanity; it was a gathering place for gods.
In the Divine Realm, even the lowest beings could easily annihilate Great Beings from the Ancient World.
While there might not be much difference in raw power, the hierarchy of power was vastly different. The so-called gods cultivated Divine Power, which was far stronger than any power found within the Ancient World.
Wei Chen himself had a tendency toward Ascend to Godhood. Once his Spatial Plane fully coalesced within him, he would become the Boundary God of that Spatial Plane—though he would lack the qualification to shape humanity. Surely, when that time came, formidable God-Level figures would come to that Spatial Plane to vie for the right to shape humanity.
It was easy to understand that the power to shape humanity within a Spatial Plane needed to be contested; after all, those would be his subjects. The Sea God and the god who shaped humanity in the Demon Realm must have fought over this very power.
Unfortunately, the Sea God was defeated and imprisoned, seemingly destined to remain in the Demon Realm forever.
The Warship continued its journey and finally arrived at the central island of the Philippine Sea, known as Phil Island.
On Phil Island, Philippe King had been waiting.
On Wei Chen's Warship, not only was the flag of the Black Magic Clan flying, but also that of Sea Emperor Nanfeng.
Philippe King was unaware of the events occurring on South Sea Island. His spies had not extended their reach there; those who resided on South Sea Island were loyal followers and family members of Sea Emperor Nanfeng, making betrayal impossible. Philippe King's spies could not infiltrate even a single one. Sea Emperor Nanfeng was not to be trifled with; he had complete control and knowledge of everything happening in his territory.
Thus, Philippe King did not know what it meant that Sea Emperor Nanfeng had arrived with members of the Black Magic Clan.
After receiving reports from his subordinates, he did not flee immediately but chose to stay on Phil Island, curious to see what tricks Sea Emperor Nanfeng was up to.
It was this curiosity that would lead Philippe King to his downfall this time.
In the past, whenever Sea Emperor Nanfeng arrived, Philippe King would typically hide deep within the Philippine Sea, where Sea Emperor Nanfeng could never find him, thus avoiding any confrontation with Philippe King's faction.
This time, however, Philippe King did not escape.
He had calculated that if things took a turn for the worse and Sea Emperor Nanfeng came with murderous intent, he could retreat swiftly with his subordinates. Sea Emperor Nanfeng would have no means to stop him.
Philippe King appeared to be in his forties or fifties, at the prime of his life. However, he had a slightly hunched posture and lacked any remarkable presence, especially when compared to the handsome and imposing figure of Sea Emperor Nanfeng.
The contrast between them was akin to that of a hero and a beggar.
Yet their strengths were nearly equal.
Sea Emperor Nanfeng was slightly stronger, while Philippe King was somewhat weaker. However, Sea Emperor Nanfeng lacked the power to kill Philippe King; every time he attempted to strike, Philippe King could instantly vanish and escape deep into the Philippine Sea without a trace.
Philippe King stood in mid-air with a dozen subordinates, watching as the Warship approached from afar.
On the deck of the warship, Wei Chen and Sea Emperor Nanfeng stood together, choosing not to hide.
Philippe King noticed Sea Emperor Nanfeng and his expression shifted slightly, but he did not move. He was confident that he could escape to a safe distance before anything happened.
He was curious about what the Black Magic Clan was doing in the Philippine Sea.
It seemed he had never offended the Black Magic Clan, had he?
He was even more intrigued by how the Black Magic Clan had become involved with Sea Emperor Nanfeng.
Seeing Sea Emperor Nanfeng and Wei Chen on the warship, Philippe King said lightly, “Sea Emperor, what brings you to our Philippine Sea this time? Are you here to kill me again?”
Philippe King let out a few cold laughs and continued, “I advise you not to waste your efforts. We keep to our own business. According to Ancestral Instruction, it would be better for us to divide and rule over the South Sea Region, wouldn’t it?”
Sea Emperor Nanfeng replied calmly, “This time, I am not the main character; it is the Young Mistress of the Black Magic Clan, Black Demon Wei Chen.”
Sea Emperor Nanfeng gestured toward Wei Chen beside him as an introduction.
Wei Chen stepped forward a few paces, looking down at Philippe King and said coolly, “You are Philippe King?”
Philippe King saw a youth who had yet to fully mature. Although he possessed peak strength from the Holy Demon Realm, he thought that the Holy Demon Realm's power was still somewhat lacking and did not take it seriously.
He had heard of Dark Demon Clan Young Master Black Demon Wei Chen long ago. After all, Wei Chen's rise had been remarkably swift; there were very few in the demon realm who did not know of him.
“Dark Demon Clan Young Master? Hmph, you traveled a long way to my Philippine Sea for what purpose? Although we are in the Philippine Sea, we are not afraid of trouble. If you have something to do, please feel free to speak,” Philippe King nodded slightly at Wei Chen, giving him a bit of face. He could hardly be bothered to acknowledge Sea Emperor Nanfeng.
Wei Chen scrutinized Philippe King for a moment and said lightly, “I came here to ask you something.”
“Oh? I live deep in the Philippine Sea and have never been to your Black Magic Clan; I’m afraid you will be disappointed,” Philippe King replied indifferently.
Wei Chen smiled coldly and said, "My friend, named Lynn Luyao, is from the Red Demon Tribe. Eleven years ago, she was captured by your Sea Tribe in the Philippine Sea and held for nineteen years. It was only two years ago that she returned to the Red Demon Tribe. I came here to ask you what happened to her during those nineteen years."
Upon hearing this, Philippe King’s expression changed slightly. Wei Chen knew so many details; didn’t that mean he knew everything?
Philippe King understood that Wei Chen's inquiry was merely a formality.
His purpose for coming to the Philippine Sea was to stir up trouble.
"Dark Demon Clan Young Master, since you already know everything, why waste words? However, this is the Philippine Sea; if you're looking for trouble, you've come to the wrong place!"
Philippe King snorted coldly and vanished into the water.
But just as he submerged beneath the surface, he felt an invisible force sealing him completely.
A cold voice reached his ears: "If you don’t want to die, come back!"
Philippe King was terrified; such a powerful Mental Strength was unprecedented in his experience.
Yet he did not heed Wei Chen's words. Instead, he exerted all his strength and fled deeper into the sea.
Not far into his escape, he sensed that the pressure weighing down on him intensified.
His entire Sea of Consciousness was firmly suppressed, leaving him no will to resist. Following the oppressive Mental Strength's guidance, he slowly floated back to the surface.
The other high-ranking members of the Philippine Sea also emerged slowly under Wei Chen's control.
They had tried to flee alongside Philippe King but were all restrained by Wei Chen's formidable Mental Strength, with no escape possible.
Where could they run? Under Wei Chen's Mental Strength lock, there was no room for evasion. His Mental Strength exerted a powerful pulling force that forcibly drew them all back.
No one could escape; they all became slaves under Wei Chen's overwhelming mental pressure.
Philippe King and his subordinates were pulled out of the sea, their faces filled with fear as they looked at Wei Chen.
Only now did they truly begin to take the Black Magic Clan's Young Mistress seriously. Such formidable mental strength in a mere boy—how could that be possible?
Looking at Sea Emperor Nanfeng, they saw a disdainful sneer on his face.
Philippe King realized he was doomed. He didn't bother to speak to Wei Chen anymore and instead gestured a middle finger at Sea Emperor Nanfeng from a distance, saying, "Sea Emperor, I never thought I would fall not at your hands but to the newly risen Young Master of the Dark Demon Clan! I've never feared you in my life, and today I have fallen; I have nothing more to say. I didn't lose to you, so don't get cocky. To me, you're just a clown."
Upon hearing this, Sea Emperor Nanfeng remained unfazed, still looking at Philippe King with a mocking smile. He calmly replied, "All I want is for you to die. Who struck the blow doesn't matter to me, whether you submit or not is irrelevant. Once I take control of the Philippine Sea, I will be the true master of the South Sea Region. The outcome is what matters; who cares about the process?"
Sea Emperor Nanfeng's words infuriated Philippe King.
He glared fiercely at Sea Emperor Nanfeng, trying to break free from Wei Chen's mental control. Just as he was about to act, he felt a terrifying pain in his Sea of Consciousness, like being stabbed by needles.
"Young Master of the Dark Demon Clan, I have no grudge against you. Why must you force me so?" Philippe King shouted angrily as he looked at Wei Chen from afar.
