Under the command of Western Buddha, there were two individuals who held his trust deeply.
One of them was undoubtedly Guanyin. Guanyin was not only a guest in his bed during times of thirst but also his right-hand person, helping him handle countless troublesome matters. The trust that Western Buddha had in Guanyin was akin to that of a man for his wife.
However, the relationship between Western Buddha and Guanyin was somewhat twisted. To achieve his goals, Western Buddha would often make Guanyin sacrifice her beauty, which was not an uncommon occurrence.
The people within Thunder Sound Temple had long harbored resentment towards Western Buddha. They were not true followers of his Buddhist teachings; rather, they were a band of mercenaries who joined Western Buddha's ranks under Guanyin's persuasion, becoming part of Thunder Sound Temple.
Guanyin was eloquent and powerful, but those qualities alone did not fulfill their missions. The foundation of her success lay in her own beauty.
Guanyin's beauty was on par with the renowned Queen Mother, known as the most beautiful woman in the Nine Immortal Realm. However, while the Queen Mother had only one man, the Jade Emperor, throughout her life, Guanyin's purity was less certain. As a result, Guanyin's reputation did not shine as brightly as that of the Queen Mother. Countless men in the Nine Immortal Realm fantasized about finding opportunities to serve Guanyin in hopes of a fleeting romance.
Among those dreamers was Tang Seng. Unfortunately for him, he was merely a pawn; once he had served his purpose, Guanyin would turn her back on him. The frustration Tang Seng felt could only be truly understood when one experienced it firsthand.
Thus, Tang Seng had long harbored dissatisfaction towards Western Buddha and felt deep disdain for Guanyin. In Guanyin's eyes, she had merely exchanged a few words with Tang Seng to fulfill Western Buddha's grand ambitions. But to Tang Seng, it felt like deception—he had worked hard to assist her and expected some acknowledgment or reward.
When Tang Seng confronted Guanyin about this, he was met with scorn.
Feeling helpless, Tang Seng secretly nurtured rebellious thoughts but had yet to find a suitable plan. Now that an opportunity had arisen, how could he not rebel? If he did so, he would not forget about his three disciples—those three were both emotionally significant and valuable assets after his rebellion. Alone, he might not gain favor in the demon realm, but with three formidable disciples by his side, the situation would be entirely different.
In fact, Tang Seng's methods were quite effective; his rebellious intentions had existed for a long time without Western Buddha noticing. Whether this was due to Tang Seng's exceptional stealth or Western Buddha's lack of perception remained unclear.

Dazhi Zhi was the only one in the Thunder Sound Temple who wasn't overweight; his muscles were robust and powerful, giving him an imposing presence.
He was also the only one in the Thunder Sound Temple whom Guanyin willingly devoted herself to. Although Guanyin loved Western Buddha dearly, Dazhi Zhi's strong physique was also something she admired. Unfortunately, Dazhi Zhi did not reciprocate her feelings. He understood his place; no matter what, he should not get involved with Western Buddha's woman.
Emerging untainted from the mud, Dazhi Zhi was the only pure person under Western Buddha's command.
If one were to follow that so-called hypocritical Buddhist doctrine, Dazhi Zhi would be considered a true talent. Even Western Buddha could not compare to him.
Seeing Dazhi Zhi step forward to volunteer for battle, Western Buddha felt quite pleased and asked, "Dazhi Zhi, how confident are you?"
"Not even ten percent," Dazhi Zhi replied honestly.
Western Buddha frowned and said, "Since you only have a ten percent chance of success, why bother going?"
"The Thunder Sound Temple's morale is low and needs a boost. Even if I can't defeat the Demon Emperor from the Demon Realm, I will do my best to hold my ground and help restore confidence in the Thunder Sound Temple," Dazhi Zhi said solemnly.
Upon hearing this, Western Buddha nodded with a smile and said, "Dazhi Zhi, then it will be hard work for you. I will remember your contributions."
"Buddha, there is no need for such words. It is my honor to serve you."
Dazhi Zhi stood up and was about to leave.
"Wait!"
Guanyin stepped forward in a timely manner and said to Western Buddha, "Buddha, I am willing to accompany Dazhi Zhi."
Western Buddha looked at Guanyin and transmitted his voice, "What do you think, Ying?"
"Buddha, who can truly know if Dazhi Zhi is loyal? If he betrays us again, our Thunder Sound Temple cannot bear such a loss!" Guanyin replied through thought.
"Ying, what do you mean by that?" Western Buddha asked.
Guanyin said, "Buddha, I want to monitor Dazhi Zhi. With me around, he will surely weigh his actions carefully. Even if he harbors thoughts of rebellion, my presence will keep him in check. Moreover, I actually believe in Dazhi Zhi; he will not betray you."
After pondering for a moment, Western Buddha declared loudly, "Alright, you are both my right and left arms. In this battle, you two will act together to ensure success!"

Dazhi Zhi and Guanyin flew out of the protective barrier and into the open air outside.
The Demon Realm Army saw that someone else had emerged and thought they were here to surrender. They immediately began to mock:
"Hey, look! A man and a woman have come out!"
"Haha, that man must be Dazhi Zhi, the strongest under Western Buddha! And that woman—could she be the famous Guanyin?"
"From the looks of it, it must be Guanyin without a doubt. Just look at how flashy she is; it’s like she’s ready for a party!"
"Isn't Guanyin's reputation just that of a socialite? No matter the occasion, she has to stand out; otherwise, what kind of socialite would she be?"
"Exactly! Hehe, Western Buddha really has a big heart; even his woman can be given to other men for the sake of profit."
"Exactly, according to the Western Buddha, there is a boundless light of Buddha radiating from his head. But in my opinion, that's not Buddha light at all; it must be a greenish glow!"
"Haha, right? The Western Buddha must be wearing an untold number of green hats."
"I wonder about those two Fellows. Rumor has it that the Western Buddha's right and left arms are also involved with him, aren't they?"
"Of course! Just look at Guanyin's flirtatious demeanor. Facing off against a Macho Man like Dazhi Zhi, she probably sneaks off to seek his affection every night."
"Haha, I wonder if Guanyin's cries will reach the ears of the Western Buddha. How would he feel knowing his top enforcer is with his woman?"
"No matter how he feels, one thing's for sure: the Western Buddha won't be angry. Isn't he used to it by now? Who knows, he might even be excitedly peeking in on them."

A stream of vulgar words reached the ears of Dazhi Zhi and Guanyin.
When Ji Dingxuan and Nan Feng saw those two come out, they immediately volunteered to fight but were rejected by Wei Chen. His reason for refusal was compelling; he wanted them to continue standing there while the Demon Realm Army had their fun.
The Demon Realm Army continued their crude remarks, using their vivid imagination to embellish the stories they had heard about Guanyin, further provoking her nerves.

Her face showed extreme anger as she transmitted a message to Dazhi Zhi: “Dazhi Zhi, when those from the Demon Realm come out later, could you teach them a lesson? After all, they are women who need a man's affection.”
Dazhi Zhi glanced at Guanyin, his eyes filled with undisguised disdain. "Isn't it true that those soldiers from the Demon Realm are just that? I fight for my beliefs; what does that have to do with you?"
“Dazhi Zhi, why must you mock me so? Don't you know how I feel about you?” Guanyin transmitted.
Dazhi Zhi let out a few cold laughs and transmitted, "Your feelings for me? I don't know. All I know is that you are a shameless woman."
"Dazhi Zhi, how can you treat me like this? You were able to attain your current position because I spoke many good words on your behalf in front of Buddha," Guanyin retorted angrily.
Dazhi Zhi replied lightly, "Good words? I'm sorry, I don't need your help. Buddha chose you as an assistant; although you've won over many people, your reputation has tarnished the entire Western Realm."
"Guanyin, stop playing those games in front of me. I know your nature well; you're a fickle woman. Someone like you doesn't deserve to stay in Thunder Sound Temple. If it weren't to purify Thunder Sound Temple, would I agree to Buddha's request to bring you out?" Dazhi Zhi looked down on Guanyin with unrestrained disdain, feeling quite pleased.
When they were at Thunder Sound Temple, no one dared to speak to Guanyin like this under Buddha's protection. But now that they were outside Thunder Sound Temple, Dazhi Zhi finally voiced the thoughts he had been harboring.
"Guanyin, it's not that I look down on you; truly, you're not even worthy of carrying my shoes. You'd better stay away from me; I've looked down on you from the bottom of my heart all along. Don't you realize? It's important for a person to have self-awareness, and you lack even the most basic self-awareness—it's truly a waste of life."
"Perhaps your skills in bed are indeed impressive, enough to please Buddha and gather so many helpers for him. But look at the helpers you've gathered; what kind of people are they? They surrender at the slightest trouble—what are they good for?"
"Guanyin, keep your distance from me. I'm here to find experts from the Demon Realm for a battle; don't get in my way."
Dazhi Zhi transmitted his disdain for Guanyin while the soldiers from the Demon Realm watched the exchange between Dazhi Zhi and Guanyin with amused expressions.
However, it wasn't long before they were astonished to see the left and right arms of Western Buddha, who had just come out of Thunder Sound Temple, staring at each other for a moment before actually starting to fight!
What a spectacle! Thunder Sound Temple was filled with such bizarre occurrences!
