Wei Chen seemed to feel that his answer was inadequate, a response filled with trivialities, and a hint of embarrassment crossed his face.
"Senior, please tell me, this place seems to have quite the background. It must be related to the Bloodshed Shop, right?" Killing God Senior had already emerged from Wei Chen's real world and stood right in front of him, which Wei Chen could sense. It appeared that the buildings at the bottom of the Azure Green Pool had also left Killing God Senior in awe.
Killing God Senior took strides, walking around the bottom of the Azure Green Pool while Wei Chen cautiously followed him, observing everything along the way.
This was a city, not very large; if placed in the Endless Divine Realm, it would merely be considered a bustling town. Once they reached the center of the town, Wei Chen spread out his Mental Strength and was able to survey the entire area without missing a detail.
"Senior, there is no Vitality here," Wei Chen communicated to Killing God Senior.
Killing God Senior nodded and replied, "In such a deep pool, it’s natural that there would be no Vitality."
"But I have a question. With such immense water pressure, these buildings shouldn't be able to exist, right? They should have been crushed to dust by now," Wei Chen frowned and asked.
Killing God Senior chuckled as he transmitted his thoughts, "You should consider where this is. In legends, this is known as the Lost City; how could it possibly be crushed by water pressure?"
"The Lost City? What kind of place is that?" Wei Chen quickly inquired.
Killing God Senior hesitated for a moment before his tone grew somber. "Child, your luck this time is so good that I have no words. The Lost City is a forbidden existence within the Bloodshed Shop. Its power is beyond your imagination; even I back in the day wouldn’t dare to offend the Lost City lightly."
Wei Chen felt somewhat confused. From Killing God Senior's tone, it seemed that this so-called Lost City was an organization within the Bloodshed Shop? He was already at odds with the Bloodshed Shop; how could he avoid offending the Lost City? Wasn't that contradictory?
"Senior, isn't the Lost City an organization of the Bloodshed Shop?" Wei Chen asked.
Killing God Senior sneered and said, "The Lost City can be considered an organization within the Bloodshed Shop, but it operates completely independently. Even if the Bloodshed Shop Owner personally intervened, they wouldn’t be able to control the Lost City. The Lost City is entirely autonomous; they can do whatever they want without needing directives from the higher-ups of the Bloodshed Shop. Within the Bloodshed Shop, the Lost City is also regarded as a forbidden existence."
"In my battles with the Bloodshed Shop back then, I never offended the Lost City. To be honest, I dared to fight against the Bloodshed Shop but would never dare to offend the Lost City; doing so would bring about my own destruction," Killing God Senior said, seemingly fearful as even his soul trembled slightly.
Wei Chen was utterly bewildered. How could such bizarre circumstances exist? Within such a large organization like the Bloodshed Shop, there was still such an unusual force?
"Senior, could you please clarify for me what exactly the Lost City is?" Wei Chen asked helplessly. He knew nothing about such matters, and Killing God Senior should have explained it in detail. However, Killing God Senior was the type who wouldn’t volunteer information unless directly asked. It felt like he was intentionally keeping things vague, almost like he was taking advantage of his seniority.
But Wei Chen had no way to counter this; it seemed to be a common trait among the seniors. He had gotten used to it.
After a moment of silence, Killing God Senior lowered his voice deliberately and said, "The Lost City is the sharp blade within Bloodshed Shop. That blade serves as both a weapon against enemies when Bloodshed Shop faces life-and-death crises and as a tool for Bloodshed Shop during peacetime. They have their own agenda and are not controlled by Bloodshed Shop at all. Many times, even if someone from Bloodshed Shop offends them, they will kill without hesitation. Even the owner of Bloodshed Shop would not dare to offend them; if they go mad, what does the Bloodshed Shop Owner matter? They would still attack recklessly."
"The people of the Lost City are all lunatics—completely insane."
"I'll tell you this: within Bloodshed Shop, those from the Lost City can do whatever they want; no one can control them. Killing God Senior's tone was filled with sorrow. From one perspective, the Brutes of the Lost City could be considered his kindred spirits. They did not target him but instead attacked those from Bloodshed Shop, killing a high-ranking Ancestor Xu Elder, which inadvertently helped him greatly.

After a pause, Killing God Senior continued, "After that rebellion in the Lost City, Bloodshed Shop's strength was significantly weakened—almost half of its power was lost. If it hadn't been for that, they would have been able to focus entirely on dealing with me; no matter how strong I became, I would have died countless times."
"Senior, how did the people from the Lost City end up in the Endless Divine Realm?" Wei Chen asked.
Killing God Senior shook his head. "I don't know either; it just feels inexplicable. Everything about this gives me an unreal feeling. It's hard to imagine that the Lost City actually arrived in the Endless Divine Realm and became imprisoned beneath Azure Green Pool as a dead city. Since this has already happened, there's no need to dwell on it too much. For now, you should search around in the Lost City and see if you can find any benefits. The treasures unearthed from Azure Green Pool must be related to the Lost City; there’s definitely no shortage of treasures within."
Hearing Killing God Senior's words made Wei Chen feel excited. Yes! Coming down into Azure Green Pool's depths and arriving at an unimaginable dead city was precisely for treasure!

The treasure was right before him; whether he could obtain it depended entirely on Wei Chen himself. Formations were incredibly powerful entities found everywhere in any Spatial Plane—they were crucial elements; mastering formations meant having already succeeded halfway.
Wei Chen pondered for a moment before seriously saying, "Senior, is it possible that some powerful individuals are still alive within certain formations in the Lost City? Once those formations are opened up, they might come rushing out and even attack me directly?"
Wei Chen recalled his time in the Demon Realm when he encountered the Senior Sea God. It felt much like the current Lost City, filled with both danger and opportunity.
Killing God Senior pondered for a moment and said, "That possibility does exist, but it’s not a bad thing."
"What do you mean it's not a bad thing? If they suddenly come after me, I won’t be able to defend myself at all," Wei Chen exclaimed anxiously.
Killing God Senior replied, "The likelihood of that situation occurring is almost zero. Even if it does happen, it’s nothing to worry about. With me around, you won't be easily taken down. The Green Energy in the Azure Green Pool is directly related to the Lost City. If you absorb the Green Energy, perhaps according to the rules of the Lost City, you might already be considered one of them."
"Uh... absorbing Green Energy makes me one of the Lost City people? That can't be true!" Wei Chen was stunned into silence. This was too bizarre.
