The barrier was shattered, and suddenly, the surroundings became clear. Illuminated by an unknown light source, the scene inside was fully revealed. Fang Lin Kong's attention immediately focused on the corpse before him. The Daoist known as Voidbreaker, who had slain Liexiezi in the illusion, now appeared merely as a lifeless body, stripped of any threat. 0

What lay before him was nothing more than a decaying corpse, half of it exposed as stark white bones, the flesh still not completely decomposed. Yet strangely, the Dao Robe it wore remained resplendent and intact, showing no signs of damage. 0

On the exposed body beneath the Dao Robe, golden spots emerged—those were remnants of Liexiezi's ambush against him using Wutu Zhenluo. Remarkably, these pests had survived all these years and were still gnawing at Voidbreaker's flesh. This demonstrated just how formidable these creatures were. Likewise, the fact that they hadn't consumed everything over the years indicated that Voidbreaker's cultivation was indeed extraordinary; his body was as resilient as steel. 0

Nearby, several peculiar weapons were embedded in the ground—these were the treasures left behind by Liexiezi during his lifetime. 0

Voidbreaker's corpse posed little threat. Following Liexiezi's instructions, Fang Lin Kong selected a pair of weapons that resembled neither knives nor swords from among the blades and made a small cut on his pinky finger. 0

Liexiezi had said that this way, the treasures would receive Fang Lin Kong's blood and gain some of his essence, allowing him to wield them. Fang Lin Kong was somewhat skeptical about this but decided to proceed as he recalled similar memories. 0

He smeared his blood onto one of the weapons in his hand. The blade, neither knife nor sword, shimmered with a blue hue reminiscent of ocean water and emanated an icy chill. The blade was straight near the hilt but twisted into an elegant crescent shape at the front. Initially, Fang Lin Kong felt nothing unusual as he applied his blood; however, moments later, a surge of lightning erupted from the blade's surface. The backlash caused Fang Lin Kong's entire body to tingle, and after a strange undulating motion, the blade suddenly elongated violently, carving a deep wound into Fang Lin Kong's body down to the bone. A dark red fountain of blood gushed forth, splattering everywhere. 0

Confused about what had just happened and still unaware of his own body's condition, Fang Lin Kong was taken aback by the sight of crimson mist enveloping him. 0

"This is vastly different from my previous memories!" 0

Fang Lin Kong realized with shock that the memories he had left for himself in the future were unreliable—but it was already too late. 0

Deep within the cave, Liexiezi felt a sudden surge of green demonic light emanating from his body. His eyes shot forth terrifying brilliance. Countless sword lights emitted from his Innate Sword Artifact formed a protective cocoon around him. He paid no mind to Fang Lin Kong; his earlier words had not been entirely false. 0

Although the Voidbreaker had ascended, the protective magical power it left behind remained formidable, and the seals placed on its artifacts were exceptionally strong. Breaking the spell was not as easy as it sounded. 0

After years of seclusion, Liexiezi's power had long caught up with that of the Voidbreaker. He only sought to use Fang Lin Kong's pure Yang blood from his youthful body to break the Voidbreaker's spell, without any regard for Fang Lin Kong's safety. Not only did he allocate a portion of his demonic power, but he also extended part of his Spiritual Awareness to Fang Lin Kong. When Fang Lin Kong was struck by lightning and fell into a daze, Liexiezi had already completely taken control of Fang Lin Kong's body. As Liexiezi's demonic energy erupted in the distance, bathing him in a brilliant green light, Fang Lin Kong's body underwent a transformation. 0

With Liexiezi's will possessing him, Fang Lin Kong's muscles writhed rapidly and grew at an astonishing rate. In no time, his body had more than doubled in size, taking on a fierce appearance that was far from that of an ordinary youth. Instead, he resembled Liexiezi, with sharp horns sprouting from his head and his muscles taking on a faint green hue. He exceeded three meters in height, his physique extraordinarily developed, exuding boundless strength. 0

The eerie weapon that had drunk deeply from Fang Lin Kong's blood transformed into a streak of azure lightning that circled around him, seemingly having submitted to him, emitting sharp sounds as if expressing its emotions. 0

Liexiezi's Six Senses Possession was different from ordinary Daoist magic. While typical Daoist sects could control others through their Yuan Shen and transfer their own power, any injury to the possessed would also drain the original user's Vitality. 0

In contrast, Liexiezi's Six Senses Possession could only control Fang Lin Kong's senses and bodily awareness without granting him any additional abilities. Likewise, if Fang Lin Kong were to be harmed, it would not affect Liexiezi directly. 0

The drawbacks of this spell were evident; the caster could not fully control the recipient's body nor transfer their strength. Fortunately, Fang Lin Kong had lost a significant amount of blood and was unconscious. With Liexiezi infusing him with a fraction of demonic power, he could guide this small portion of energy to transform Fang Lin Kong’s body. 0

Having been sealed for hundreds of years, Liexiezi saw his former senior brother again and did not dare to act carelessly. Using Fang Lin Kong’s body meant he only had one-tenth of his original strength. Although the Voidbreaker’s Yuan Shen was no longer present, the residual protective magical power should not be underestimated. 0

Liexiezi was cautious by nature and did not rush to seek revenge on the Voidbreaker’s remains or hastily break the seals. Instead, he approached the transformed weapon with a repaired body and let the azure lightning cut open his wrist again, awakening his other artifacts one by one. 0

Initially worried that the Voidbreaker’s magic might possess some extraordinary qualities, Liexiezi finally felt relieved when no anomalies appeared after awakening all his artifacts. 0

Having regained his previous life’s treasures, Liexiezi believed he could at least exert thirty percent of his combat power. It was only then that he planned to break the spell sealing the Yuan Shen itself. The Wutu Zhenluo that had survived on the Voidbreaker for hundreds of years no longer needed to remain there; consuming the Voidbreaker’s essence would be useful for living beings but held no value for a Voidbreaker who had already ascended. Therefore, Liexiezi waved his hand silently, causing countless golden stars to fly from the Voidbreaker’s body—golden locusts the size of broad beans flapping their wings and buzzing densely. 0

Unbeknownst to him, some spell had been cast around the Voidbreaker. As Liexiezi retracted Wutu Zhenluo and triggered one of its keys suddenly, in an instant too quick to react, the long-dead corpse of the Voidbreaker burst forth with golden light. The brilliance surpassed even that of the sun on its hottest day, filling the entire cavern. Just as Liexiezi was about to summon his artifacts for protection, he was struck by a searing Crimson Light; immediately, his Six Senses Possession spell failed, and he felt himself revert back to his original form. 0

Realizing the dire situation, Liexiezi had no time to react and could only shout angrily, "Voidbreaker, you treacherous scoundrel! How could you resort to such vicious means to plot against me... This! This is... the Pure Yang Golden Elixir!" 0

Feeling the rage surging within him, Liexiezi roared skyward, causing the rocky walls of the cave to tremble and shake, sending stones cascading down. His fury was palpable. 0

Voidbreaker had long anticipated how Liexiezi would attempt to break his seal. Thus, during his Ascend, he had concealed the Pure Yang Inner Elixir, cultivated over two thousand years, within himself. He planned to unleash it when Liexiezi was only able to barely control Fang Lin Kong's body and was unable to respond effectively. 0

With this move, Voidbreaker shattered Liexiezi's Six Senses Possession Spell and transferred control of his previous life's treasures to Fang Lin Kong. This severed Liexiezi's hope of using his former treasures to break through the formation. 0

Although Voidbreaker did not know who would be used by Liexiezi hundreds of years later, he accurately predicted the circumstances of that future. Utilizing the Pure Yang Inner Elixir he had cultivated for two thousand years, he dismantled Liexiezi's Six Senses Possession Spell. His Dao Robe transformed into a swirling mass of red clouds, enveloping Wutu Zhenluo within. Following this, the pre-set Five Elements Escape Spirit Flag activated, and in a puff of smoke, Fang Lin Kong vanished from the cave, transported by Voidbreaker's wondrous artifact to an unknown location. 0
