The Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf was a beast that had cultivated its powers to the level of controlling the elements. As night fell, its magical abilities received a slight boost under the moonlight. In a place unnoticed by Fang Lin Kong, the ground began to churn as the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf unleashed its mastery of Plant Control and the ability to manipulate the minds of others, raising the dead.
This area had once been an ancient battlefield, and under the influence of the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf's magic, countless skeletal remains emerged from the earth. A chilling wind swept through, accompanied by ghostly whispers. After undergoing a transformation, Fang Lin Kong's senses had sharpened significantly; how could he not detect such a strong Spiritual Wave?
When he turned around and saw what was happening, it startled him. Although Fang Lin Kong had been cultivating for some time and had inexplicably mastered Giant Spirit Transformation, facing dozens of staggering corpses nearly made his heart explode.
Driven by instinct, Fang Lin Kong jumped up and ran. He did not have the courage to confront such horrors.

Before he could celebrate his success, beasts summoned by the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf were already rushing toward him. Over the years, environmental degradation had made wild animals scarce; however, nearby there were unexpectedly large numbers of fat pigs. These clumsy livestock had transformed under demonic influence; their muscles bulged as they charged forward with ferocity that rivaled their wild ancestors.
Fang Lin Kong did not understand why he could wield this lightning-infused weapon so effortlessly. Nevertheless, without further thought, he unleashed arcs of blue electricity that tore through the advancing mutated beasts, turning them into bloody remnants scattered across the ground.
The beasts and livestock surged forward, causing a brief delay. The stench of decaying corpses also staggered closer.
Although Fang Lin Kong did not know that the Liexie Twin Hooks were the first protective treasure of the Liexiezi, he had experienced their power, which greatly boosted his confidence. With a thought, the Liexie Twin Hooks transformed into Azure Lightning and swept through the area.
The undead creatures summoned by the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf were instantly shattered upon contact with the spiritual energy of the Liexie Twin Hooks. Bones splintered and scattered everywhere.
Just as Fang Lin Kong let out a sigh of relief, he was taken aback to see that from the shattered corpses emerged a swirling black mist, wrapping around the Azure Lightning of the Liexie Twin Hooks. Alarmed, Fang Lin Kong focused his mind, trying to retract the Liexie Twin Hooks.
However, the black mist was incredibly resilient; no matter how hard Fang Lin Kong tried, he could not pull back even a fraction of the Liexie Twin Hooks.
A chilling wail echoed around him as he urged the Liexie Twin Hooks. It was evident that the black mist was composed of countless faces and beast forms. This was the power of Yin souls, gathered from the souls of humans and beasts absorbed by the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf.
Seeing his gathered Yin soul power entangle the Liexie Twin Hooks, the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf stealthily approached, gesturing at Fang Lin Kong who was controlling the Liexie Twin Hooks. With a low growl, it lunged for Fang Lin Kong's neck.
Feeling a rush of wind behind him, Fang Lin Kong's internal spiritual energy instinctively triggered a Giant Spirit transformation. He felt a sharp pain in his neck as he swung his fist back, landing a solid blow on the soft belly of the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf.
After transforming with Giant Spirit Transformation, Fang Lin Kong not only doubled in size but also became incredibly resilient. The wolf's bite left only two rows of varying depth teeth marks but failed to sever Fang Lin Kong's neck.
With his newfound strength magnified after transformation, Fang Lin Kong's punch carried immense force. Although the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf possessed formidable demonic power, it could not withstand the blow and was sent flying into the air, spraying blood from its gaping mouth. It crashed heavily to the ground, creating a deep pit in the forest floor.
Injured and slightly disoriented from its Yin soul power being disrupted, the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf gave Fang Lin Kong an opportunity to retract the Liexie Twin Hooks.
Surrounded by brilliant blue lightning, Fang Lin Kong finally had a moment to touch his neck, feeling a wave of fear wash over him from what had just transpired.
He turned around to see what had attacked him, but found nothing behind him. The Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf had long concealed its presence, and Fang Lin Kong could not find any trace of it.
Injured, the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf became even more ferocious and irritable. After stabilizing its injuries with Vitality, it gathered its demonic power and extracted the souls of all living beings within hundreds of miles, directing them toward Fang Lin Kong.
Fang Lin Kong was merely an accidental recipient of the Liexiezi's demonic power. With no experience in using magical artifacts, he had no idea how to unleash the spiritual energy of the Liexie Twin Hooks or what spell could dispel the power of the malevolent souls. As countless cold and chilling presences surrounded him, he was just an ordinary city boy who had never encountered such a bizarre situation. The Giant Spirit Transformation was ineffective against the malevolent souls, and when the Liexie Twin Hooks could not stop their power either, Fang Lin Kong found himself completely enveloped in swirling black mist.
"How come there are more monsters than people these days? I hadn't encountered a single one in over a decade, yet now they keep appearing, even zombies."
Panic reached its peak, but Fang Lin Kong surprisingly calmed down. In this moment of crisis, he finally abandoned the idea of relying on borrowed demonic power. Taking a deep breath, Fang Lin Kong contemplated which inexplicable item within him could deal with these vengeful souls. Suddenly, a Dao Robe he had seen on Voidbreaker enveloped him in brilliant rays of light.
Completely unaware of where this item had come from, it was evident that this Dao Robe was perfect for the situation. After being swept by the radiant light, all the malevolent souls instantly evaporated. The power it possessed was truly astonishing.
Seeing that Fang Lin Kong had acquired a new protective artifact, the Six-Eyed Celestial Wolf suppressed its anger and chose to abandon its attack.
By now, it was deep into the night; a cool breeze swept through, making Fang Lin Kong feel icy all over. After such a fright, he felt no joy whatsoever.
Fortunately, this newly acquired Dao Robe was quite thick. Although his pants were still rather chilly, he felt much better than when he had just a tattered flag wrapped around his waist.
