"So Newton sent you over?"
Erza looked at the ginger in front of her, somewhat surprised. Newton had already informed Erza and Miraj about the true situation regarding Ginger. However, they did not see Ginger as a robot but rather as a real person.
"Sort of. I don't really understand why Mr. Newton thinks that by completing a mission with you, he can find what I need."
Ginger's face showed confusion, completely unable to grasp why Newton would act this way.
"Alright, I get it. By the way, we just received a new mission."
Due to Fairy Tail's first place win in the Great Magic Games, requests for their services had suddenly increased, especially those specifically requesting members who participated in the event, like Natsu and Gray, who had become quite famous. Even those who usually didn't have much recognition, like Elfman or the newly joined Gajeel and Zhubian, were now considered notable. During this time, many were eager to have these individuals take on tasks. Of course, Miraj rarely participated in missions, so she was not significantly affected by this surge in attention. On the contrary, because of the bet between Jenny from Azure Wind Antelope and Miraj during the Great Magic Games, this week's magazine featured numerous enticing photos of Jenny. Although certain areas were obscured due to policy reasons, they were covered with thin veils or flowing water effects that only heightened the allure of the images. Suddenly, aside from Fairy Tail's victory, Jenny's photos became a hot topic, making her even more famous than Miraj—this was a different kind of fame altogether.
This time, Natsu and the others had received a specific request for Vorod Sinken.
"Vorod?"
Upon hearing this name, Ginger clearly paused for a moment before relevant data associated with it appeared in her database.
"I know this person; he seems to be one of the top four of the Holy Ten, skilled in plant magic. And most importantly, he is one of the founders of Fairy Tail."
"Founder?"
This term immediately captured everyone's attention. Although they didn't know why Mavis wasn't present at that moment, Ginger took it upon herself to educate them about their guild's history. She couldn't fathom how these individuals had reached their current status without knowing such fundamental information.
Fairy Tail had four founders: the First Generation, followed by the second generation and then the father of the third generation—this Vorod was among them. All of this was documented in historical texts within the Great Library; Ginger couldn't understand how these people could be so ignorant of such basic facts.
Vorod appeared to be a rather kind-looking man; at least that's what his picture in the book suggested. He looked somewhat comical, resembling a cauliflower. His expertise wasn't in shape-shifting magic but rather in controlling nature through various plant-based spells. Typically, everything in nature was something he could manipulate. However, whether it was due to his appearance or personality issues, Vorod specialized in plant magic that allowed him to achieve various effects through different kinds of plants. The book stated that he only excelled in defensive and healing magic; however, Ginger speculated that someone who could reach the top four of the Holy Ten and was referred to as one of Ishgar's Four Kings couldn't possibly be that simple. If Joan were that straightforward, Jura wouldn't have remained in fifth place for so long; he would have advanced much earlier.
After listening to Jiang's introduction, Natsu and the others finally understood what kind of client they were dealing with this time.
"Hey, do you think if we ask about the old days of Fairy Tail, that Vorged would tell us anything?"
Natsu was quite interested in the past of his guild, his face full of eager curiosity.
"Well, if you want to know about those things, why not just ask the First Generation directly?"
Erza sighed.
"It's not the same, Erza..."
Haru also looked very interested. It seemed that like owner, like pet; he never expected these two to be so nosy.
"Alright, enough. You two idiots, we need to focus on resolving the client's issues first."
Erza, feeling helpless, led her team along with Jiang to a place that looked like a treehouse. They knocked on the door, as they still held a great deal of respect for their seniors. Natsu, who originally intended to push the door open, was promptly suppressed by a punch from Erza.
"You've arrived..."
A person who bore a slight resemblance to Vorged appeared before them. The reason it was only a slight resemblance was that while the Vorged in the photo looked like a cauliflower, this person's appearance resembled a human face growing on a cauliflower stalk.
"Cauliflower makes for a great barbecue option."
Jiang suddenly spoke up, causing everyone to look at him in astonishment. They too wanted to voice their thoughts about why one of the renowned Four Kings would look like a cauliflower. However, out of respect for their senior and the Four Kings, no one dared to say anything. Now that someone had finally spoken up, they all felt relieved and couldn't help but appreciate having Jiang around; sometimes having someone willing to speak out was truly invaluable.
"I'm not a cauliflower!"
Wogd was not standing in front of the door; he must have used some magical means to open it. Instead, he was in front of some plants, holding a watering can and watering them. After making a sarcastic remark about Ginger, he turned around and took a sip from the watering can, revealing an expression of pure enjoyment.
"Well, you are a plant, right? You can't possibly perform photosynthesis. If that's the case, do you eat food at all? If you don't eat, then your expenses must be quite low. If possible, you should try the fertilizer our Guild offers."
Ginger didn't forget to promote his Guild's products even here, but everyone was taken aback when Wogd responded very seriously.
"Actually, I've been using it..."
Even Ginger was shocked. Did this guy really use fertilizer? But then Wogd suddenly changed his tone.
"Hahaha, just kidding..."
Everyone remembered that this person was known for his sense of humor; he was quite amusing in daily life. However, joking about his identity was truly unbearable.
"Alright then, Mr. Wogd, shall we get to the matter of your request?"
Erza guided the conversation back to the main topic.
