"I thought you would never ask for help." 0

Minerva and Miraj brought Jackb out, and Newton looked at Minerva with amusement. Minerva was a bit too strong-willed; he had been worried when she was fighting against Jackb. He had intended to send Miraj to check on her, but to his surprise, she had directly called for support through the communicator. This indicated that Minerva was not the type to act recklessly, which was good news. 0

"Hmph, while I believe in my own strength, I wouldn't put myself through so much suffering. But you all came too early; you have no idea how I toyed with that guy inside." 0

Minerva would never admit to being beaten like a dog, so she naturally began to spin her tale. However, those who knew her well said nothing more; after all, it was quite dangerous when a woman became angry out of embarrassment. 0

"Let's lock him up for now." 0

Newton waved his hand. At this point, the information was completely useless to them. Killing Jackb seemed a bit regrettable, so they could only lock him up for now. This was actually good news for the members of Fairy Tail; after this incident, only ten members of the Holy Twelve Shields would remain, which was beneficial for everyone. 0

However, the news of Jackb's capture was not good for the people of the Albarez Empire. In a castle formed by sand, Oghast frowned. 0

"Jackb has also been captured?" 0

"Yes." 0

A soldier replied helplessly. Although he had confidence in his country, everything happening here seemed to challenge their understanding. However, failure was not something they could not accept; an excellent soldier could not only win easy battles. 0

"At least it's just Jackb." 0

Oghast did not deny Jackb's strong abilities, but how strong he truly was remained uncertain. Compared to others with large-scale attack skills, Jackb's role was limited; even for reconnaissance or assassination tasks, there were more suitable candidates. Yet Oghast knew that sending one after another like this wouldn’t work. 0

"What’s wrong? Deep in thought?" 0

Eileen walked in with a smile on her face. 0

"What’s up? Is there something to be happy about?" 0

Oghast hoped Eileen would bring him good news. 0

"Well, I can only give you one piece of advice: what are you worried about?" 0

Erin's face showed some dissatisfaction. 0

"Our strength far exceeds theirs. From the very beginning of this war, they have been using various underhanded tactics to infiltrate us and take us down one by one. You've seen it too; even our Holy Twelve Shields would find it hard to remain unscathed if targeted individually. In that case, why don't we just push through directly?" 0

Erin was right. Oghast had considered this, but he wanted to give Jelf a perfect victory. While crushing them with brute force might seem like a safer bet, he couldn't predict the final outcome. It was very likely that a significant portion of the soldiers he brought would die here. There had been records of previous expeditions; due to the presence of Fiss and Spirit Magic Power, the Albarez Empire had suffered heavy losses. This time, he heard that the Spirit Magic Power here was gone, but Fiss still remained, and Val from their side was dead. When Val was around, they could use the same Spirit Magic Power and magical constructs to counterattack, but now... they were also worried about being hit by a single Spirit Magic Power or a Fiss attack. 0

"I know what you're worried about, but I can assure you that their Fiss won't activate. So, do you have confidence in facing them in a decisive battle?" 0

Erin's words surprised Oghast because, in his understanding, members of the Holy Twelve Shields had some desires or ambitions. However, Erin was different. Pragmatic and powerful, Erin's magical abilities might even surpass Oghast's; she was capable of creating life itself and could conjure creatures of her liking. Oghast had always been by Jelf's side, and so had Erin. But since Oghast became conscious, Erin and Jelf had remained unchanged; they had never aged. Thus, Oghast felt a mix of wanting to compete for Jelf's favor while also being wary of Erin. 0

"I know what you're thinking. I do need someone, so when I'm on the battlefield, I need you to ensure that I can encounter a specific person." 0

Erin pulled out a photograph, and the person in it left Oghast even more puzzled. He was familiar with Fairy Tail's Mages, but there was nothing particularly special about this individual—perhaps being a Dragon Slayer Mage made them seem somewhat unique? 0

"Alright, but how do you plan to deal with Fiss?" 0

Oghast had considered directly eliminating members of the Magic Council, but through Jackb's intel, he learned that control over Fiss had already shifted. Therefore, he couldn't realize that plan now. The best method at this point would be to use external forces to destroy Fiss directly, but achieving that level of destruction was not something just anyone could accomplish. 0

"Hmph, just watch." 0

Erin stepped outside and lowered her head as her magical power surged dramatically. 0

"What do you intend to do?" 0

Just as Erin's body began to change, Jelf grabbed her arm from the side. 0

"Your Majesty?" 0

"What are you planning?" 0

Jelf looked at Erin and recalled their previous encounters. 0

"I know you want to secure victory for me, but are you truly prepared to go through with this?" 0

Eileen nodded. 0

"Because I have also found what I want." 0

Jelf looked at Eileen, noticing how different she was from the first time he met her. Over the years, he had known that she had been searching for a way to become human again, and now it seemed... 0

"Are you really going to do this?" 0

Jelf watched as Eileen picked up the photograph, gazing at the girl in it. 0

"That's right. This will be the beginning of my new life." 0

Eileen looked at it as if it were the most perfect treasure in the world, her entire demeanor exuding a kind of obsession. 0

"Well then, I'll leave Fiss to you." 0

Jelf nodded. Since she had made her choice, he had no option but to respect it. 0
