"This bastard! No wonder so many people support him from behind! Damn it, you think you're a hero? Just die here for me!" 0

Xiar was shaken by the other person's actions. He had initially planned to use him as bait, but instead, the other was desperately trying to save him. 0

Without hesitation, he dashed past the other, appearing to flee in panic, which momentarily stunned Rody. 0

However, he had barely run ten steps before stopping, stuffing the white fox into his robe, turning around to draw his bow and shoot, aiming directly at the crow that lunged at him once more. 0

Using the other as bait would allow him to escape easily, but this incident would undoubtedly become a nightmare in his heart, one that would never fade! 0

This time, the arrow struck like a venomous snake, hitting its target with precision at the base of the crow's wing. The arrowhead, the length of a finger, pierced in deeply, causing an extremely piercing screech. 0

The sound carried a sonic wave attack capability, leaving both of them momentarily dizzy and ringing in their ears. Fortunately, the charging Black Giant Wolf also staggered for a moment. 0

"Run quickly!" Xiar struggled to draw his bow again and shot another arrow at the crow's wing. 0

However, this time it struck a feather and produced a sound like metal clashing against metal; the arrow couldn't inflict any damage whatsoever. 0

Fortunately, the first arrow had injured the base of its wing, forcing it to fall from the sky and preventing it from pursuing them any further. That resolved their biggest problem. Otherwise, with such a flying monster around, no amount of struggle would allow them to escape! 0

"Black, let's retreat!" Rody summoned his totem back and fled alongside Xiar. 0

However, the Black Giant Wolf's speed was terrifying; they couldn't evade it with their current pace. 0

Xiar shot an arrow again, but the creature simply opened its mouth and caught the arrow mid-flight, tossing it aside effortlessly! 0

Clang! 0

Rody had no choice but to turn and swing his sword at the giant wolf. His Totem Beast charged forward without hesitation, attempting to attack it. 0

Unfortunately, it was too weak, merely an ordinary beast that had yet to evolve. No matter how fierce it looked, it could not compete with a fully evolved totem. 0

The giant wolf leaped gracefully, opening its blood-red maw and biting down on it. It seemed to have been pricked by the bone spines on its back, and it was thrown to the ground, followed by a powerful paw pressing down on it! 0

"Black, unleash!" Rody shouted in a fit of rage as he saw the blood-red maw aiming for his totem's neck. His eyes widened in horror. 0

Such a fatal injury could leave the totem severely damaged or even completely destroyed. 0

If the totem were killed right before him, the cost of repairing it would be even higher than raising a new one! 0

While losing an Auxiliary Totem might be acceptable, the Main Totem was crucial for a Spirit Master's advancement. Replacing it would take years and require many precious materials. 0

Thus, many Spirit Masters would never allow their totems to die for them unless they faced true life-and-death crises. Some would even take the risk of retracting their Main Totem, resulting in their own demise. 0

Rody quickly pulled out a handful of Source Crystals from his pocket, channeling all their energy into forming a strange pattern that resembled a mysterious altar, instantly enveloping the Totem Beast. 0

A faint red mist emerged around the ferocious creature, and its body began to swell dramatically as it let out a deep roar. 0

"This is forcibly burning the Inheritance Factor to activate the totem's primal energy!" 0

Xiar's eyes lit up as he recalled a scene from the future storyline. The opponent was indeed using this method to forcefully advance, commonly known as Cosmic Eruption. 0

Desperately pushing the totem into Evolution, they turned the tide and defeated their Second-Level Spirit Master enemy. 0

This time, under his interference, the opponent was acting just like in the story, employing this desperate tactic. He wondered if it would go as smoothly as it did in the narrative. 0

But the Grizzly Bear was already charging at him, its paw smashing through a tree trunk as thick as his waist. The broken trunk struck his side and sent him flying several meters away. The Guardian Spirit Light that had enveloped him vanished along with Firefly's unconscious form. 0

Xiar spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling a tearing pain in his abdomen, clearly suffering from severe internal injuries. 0

What was even more terrifying was that out of the corner of his eye, he saw another Spirit Master rushing over. 0

Without hesitation, he forced his body to push forward and dove into the dense forest, causing the massive Grizzly Bear to roar in frustration and abandon the chase, turning instead to attack Rody. 0

Just as Xiar had run a little over ten meters, he heard Rody's furious shout from behind: "A bunch of bastards, die!" 0

He had no idea what Rody had gone through earlier, but there was a deep-seated hatred in his tone that made Xiar wonder if both of Rody's companions were already dead. 0

To wear the crown, one must bear its weight. The other party was destined to become the master of the Harrison Empire, an invincible powerhouse who would save the world from chaos; his path was bound to be extraordinary. 0

"Good luck!" Xiar did not pause for a moment and pushed himself forward in a specific direction. 0

Roar! 0

A terrifying beastly roar echoed behind him, like a sovereign ruling over the wilds, filled with arrogance and dominance. 0

"Indeed, it's Evolution," Xiar thought. The strongest divine beast, destined to be called the Totem King, possessing unparalleled power in the world, was finally revealing its might! 0

A hint of envy flickered in Xiar's eyes but quickly faded. He did not believe that his future would be any weaker than that of his opponent. 0

With the White Spirit as his unique advantage, if he couldn't even match a mere "NP," then he might as well just die! 0

However, the most pressing issue now was to address his injuries. 0

Xiar spotted a large tree hollow in the distance and hurriedly crawled inside, leaning against the soft decayed wood as he focused his thoughts. 0

“White Spirit!” 0

A translucent virtual Interface emerged, and as he focused his thoughts on the physical attributes section, his Evolution Points suddenly decreased by a small amount. 0

A surge of heat began to circulate within him, making him feel as if there were countless insects writhing inside his body. The Evolution Points transformed into mysterious energy that repaired his damaged internal organs. 0

He couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood, in which tiny fragments of internal organs could be seen—pieces that had been damaged earlier. 0

After expelling the stagnant blood, his complexion improved significantly, allowing him to sit up straight and carefully retrieve the White Fox from inside his clothing. 0

He could only be grateful that he had hidden the White Fox close to his chest; otherwise, if it had been struck by the previous Trunk, it might have perished instantly. 0

The Firefly was no ordinary Main Totem. Once it died, it would be true death, and no matter the cost, it could not be brought back! 0

However, the White Fox was severely injured and had already fallen into a coma. 0

“This is really frustrating. To evolve a totem, I must hunt powerful totems or Radiation Beasts, but with my current strength, it's difficult to achieve a safe kill!” Xiar slammed his fist against the Trunk, feeling irritated by his own weakness. 0

“Xiar, is that you inside?” 0

A familiar voice suddenly came from outside, startling him. It was the Handsome Man. 0

Knowing the future plot well, he understood that this person was not as rigid as he appeared on the surface, like an old scholar; rather, he was a duplicitous hypocrite with ulterior motives! 0
