The woman suddenly felt as if her soul was being drawn in, leaving her completely unable to move.
Rumbling!
The Giant Lizard, which had been biting down on the neck of the Grizzly Bear, instantly abandoned its prey and transformed into a speeding car, crashing towards her with a deafening roar.
This sudden turn of events left the nearby ordinary warriors in shock, unable to comprehend that even a formidable Spirit Master could face such a crisis.
Caw!
The falcon perched on her shoulder swooped down, attempting to fend off the Giant Lizard.
But it was like a bug trying to stop a carriage; the Giant Lizard effortlessly sent it flying, along with a nearby warrior who was knocked aside and could not get back up.
The brute strength of the Giant Lizard was overwhelming. These Soldier Level School-Level Strength assassins were as fragile as infants before it, unable to withstand even a casual swipe.
As the Giant Lizard approached its target, the woman's Green Robe exploded, releasing dark green vines that writhed like tentacles, reaching out to engage the charging beast.
These vines wrapped around the Giant Lizard, attempting to bind it completely.
However, it was futile; the terrifying power of the Komodo Dragon easily tore through the vines and barreled straight toward the woman.
Boom!
A sickening crunch echoed as the faint green Guardian Spirit Light surrounding her surged violently. The creature collided with a trunk as thick as her waist, sending her crashing down beneath it.
"My Lord, what kind of monster is this!" The surrounding assassins stood frozen in place, their faces displaying sheer terror.
This was their first direct encounter with the power of an Evolved Grade Totem, far surpassing their expectations; even their organization's Important Figure could not withstand it.
"I will kill you!" The woman screamed, finally breaking free from the mental grip.
Struggling, she made intricate gestures, causing fragments of Source Crystal to scatter into dust. The vines on her body suddenly surged in size by several times.
It was as if she transformed into a massive tentacled creature over ten meters long, completely wrapping around the Giant Lizard and squeezing tightly!
"Interesting. A mere First-Level Spirit Master actually possesses a totem that rivals the top Evolution level."
Dressed in a silver-gray Scholar's Robe, Xiar emerged from the nearby bush, not a single leaf clinging to him, his hairstyle unchanged. He stared expressionlessly at the opponent, and behind him crawled out a Totem Beast.
It was a massive gray crocodile, measuring six meters in length and weighing nearly a ton. Its body was covered in protruding Armored Shells, and its mouth, filled with sharp teeth, stretched over a meter long—wide enough to swallow an adult whole!
"Giant Swamp Crocodile, Special Totem, evolved. Can be enhanced; Evolution success rate 6%, consumes 65 Evolution Points.
Abilities: Death Roll, super strong bite."
This was a Radiation Creature that Xiar had stumbled upon, originally less than three meters long. However, after being enhanced with Evolution Points, it had suddenly doubled in size, transforming into the most terrifying man-eating giant crocodile.
The Giant Swamp Crocodile lunged at the woman, its Blood-Red Maw wide open as it viciously bit down on the thick Dark Green Vines.
Crunch! Crunch!
The sound of it gnawing was reminiscent of chewing sugar cane as the vines, now three times thicker and harder, were effortlessly severed.
But that wasn't all; it charged toward the Entity of the Dark Green Vines, its massive jaws opening to the limit. Ignoring the opponent's resistance, it clamped down on the nearly two-meter-diameter spherical totem entirely.
Then, the Giant Swamp Crocodile's enormous body suddenly rolled over, whipping around with long vines trailing behind it!
The scene turned increasingly violent and terrifying as nearby trunks were mercilessly smashed and broken by the thick vines.
Two martial artists caught off guard faced utter disaster; one had his head exploded directly, blood and flesh splattering everywhere in a gruesome display.
The Giant Swamp Crocodile's Death Roll finally came to an end. The massive Vine Totem lay limp on the ground, crushed by its ferocious bite as a faint white stream of energy flew toward Xiar.
"Who exactly are you?" The Green-Robed Woman spat out a mouthful of blood upon witnessing her Main Totem being destroyed, staring at him in sheer terror.
"An innocent ordinary person. I just wanted to farm peacefully and move away in a couple of years. Yet you all insisted on provoking me. Why force me to become your enemy?"
Xiar walked over calmly, surrounded by two massive creatures, completely unconcerned about any potential resistance from the opponent.
An ordinary person!?
The woman nearly let out a curse; who had ever seen such a ferocious ordinary person? Even she, a Spirit Master blessed with a Treasure from her organization, couldn't match the opponent's strength. This level of power surpassed many Second-Level Spirit Masters!
"You..."
Before she could say more, the Giant Swamp Crocodile lunged at her, its fearsome jaws snapping down.
Crunch!
Crack!
The Guardian Spirit Light surrounding her could no longer withstand the assault, shattering into glass-like fragments that dissipated into the air. In an instant, she was obliterated and swallowed whole by the Swamp Crocodile!
Since ancient times, villains have perished from excessive talking. Xiar had no intention of wasting time with her; if she had any recovery methods or if other powerful Spirit Masters were drawn to the commotion, it would be a costly mistake.
Xiar paused, watching as the Evolution Modulator and White Spirit appeared. The numbers in the Evolution Points column skyrocketed from 4 to 105.
"Meow!"
The white fox jumped down from a branch, its expressive eyes showing signs of exhaustion. It had used its abilities to control the opponent for so long that it was completely drained of spiritual energy.
"Rest well; you won't need to intervene anymore," Xiar said, cradling it in his arms and gently stroking its back.
With a thought, swarms of Venomous Stinger Bees emerged, joining the two giant monsters in their pursuit of the assassins.
Only Spirit Masters could contend with Spirit Masters!
He was no longer the rookie he once was; his totemic power far exceeded that of these assassins, who were merely School Level at best.
These assassins, terrifying in the eyes of ordinary people, found themselves utterly defenseless against the combined onslaught of the Venomous Stinger Bees and the two monsters, easily dispatched one after another.
Their longswords could not pierce the hides of the Swamp Crocodile and Giant Lizard, let alone inflict any damage. They had become like lambs to the slaughter, pitifully weak.
"I'll fight you!" a desperate assassin shouted as he turned and lunged at Xiar.
But Xiar stood still, not moving an inch, allowing the assassin's long knife to come crashing down, a mocking smile on his face.
Clang!
The invisible Guardian Spirit Light blocked the attack effortlessly, not even causing a ripple, let alone shaking him.
Now, with the defense provided by the Swamp Crocodile and Giant Lizard's Guardian Spirit Light, it had become almost absurdly powerful. He suspected that even if a grenade were thrown at him, it would be hard to inflict any harm!
"Weak mortal!" Xiar said as he pierced the assassin's chest with his sword, watching the despair in his eyes.
Moments later, Xiar's totems slaughtered all the adults and Radiation Monsters in sight, leaving only a few children and women in the village, filled with hatred as they stared at him.
Killing defenseless children and women would fill him with a deep sense of guilt.
So Xiar did not allow his totems to kill these people. Instead, he commanded them to capture three Forest Wolves and place them in the village before turning to leave.
A group of pitiful creatures had already been given a chance to live...
