Ultimate Form represents the pinnacle of a creature's Evolution, marking a clear boundary between it and ordinary beings, possessing the power of a Mythical Creature. It is no longer of the same species as regular organisms; the gap is simply incomparable!
After completing the Ultimate Evolution in a mysterious manner, the Vine Totem has transformed into an unparalleled, monstrous creature with fearsome tentacles stretching hundreds of meters long.
These tentacles are densely covered with spikes several meters long, resembling a spiky cylinder, and at the tip is a massive mouth capable of swallowing an adult whole.
The hundred-meter-long green dragon thrashes through the air, each strike powerful enough to cleave a steam locomotive in half.
Yet, both Leslie, clad in bizarre armor, and the pitch-black monster endure dozens of strikes without succumbing.
Their battle grows increasingly Frenzy, each clash creating several-meter-deep craters in the ground. In no time, the estate is riddled with pits, resembling a battlefield bombarded by artillery fire in a past life.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Under the onslaught of the hundred-meter vines, the entire earth trembles. The towering trees surrounding the estate spring to life, extending their own Tentacles to attack the few remaining humans.
“Brother After the Heart and Body!”
As Daniel desperately dodges, he suddenly spots a silver-gray robed figure standing in the corner. Vines behind him morph into a massive hammer and come crashing down toward him.
He sees the figure looking over in confusion and asking, “What’s wrong?”
Buzz!
The vine hammer, as large as a barrel, crashes down onto his head but feels like a gentle breeze, failing to budge him even slightly!
The hammer formed from those vines rebounds violently back onto itself, smashing down and breaking several tree fences as thick as bowls!
“Hmm? Did something just hit me?” Xiar wonders aloud while glancing around but sees no attacker.
Daniel opens his mouth to say something, puzzled as he looks at the vines on the walls, curiously leaning closer.
He was ruthlessly whipped away by a vine, rolling several meters like a piece of skin, landing in a very awkward position.
Fuming, he quickly got up from the ground and commanded the Crimson Fire Monkey to charge forward. It spat out a large mouthful of strange liquid, igniting the trees and vines all around.
Squeak! Squeak! Squeak!
The plants emitted sharp squeaking sounds, struggling to survive in the flames.
Daniel finally let out a breath and curiously leaned closer to his companion. "Bro, your defense is pretty strong. Do you have a specialized defensive Auxiliary Totem?"
"Yeah, I have a crocodile. Its defense is slightly stronger than average, but it's still far behind your Crimson Fire Monkey," Xiar replied somewhat embarrassed.
While others cultivated various creatures, he could only use ordinary ones, which indeed created a noticeable gap.
"Uh, the crocodile... that thing isn't very useful later on. But it's still a decent choice in the early stages. You can switch to a better Auxiliary Totem when you get the chance," Daniel said, momentarily stunned, sympathy flashing in his eyes.
Choosing a totem as a Spirit Master wasn't something done lightly. Many would go to great lengths to cultivate or purchase various Totem Beasts. If one was wealthy and powerful enough, they could even buy high-quality Totem Beasts.
As for superlative endowments—those were rare and hard to come by, something countless Spirit Masters dreamed of. Even imperial princes found it nearly impossible to obtain them.
"Bro, join us! There are high-quality endowed Totem Beasts inside."
Xiar looked at him with an odd expression, increasingly feeling that this guy was just like those salon workers from his past life—or more accurately, like those technical college students who tirelessly promoted their schools.
As if entering would guarantee learning some divine technique and graduating with an easy monthly salary of several thousand—who would believe that?
He pointed behind Daniel again. "Watch out! A vine is coming for you!"
"Don't worry. With the Crimson Fire Monkey here, no one can harm me, and you won't be hurt either..."
Before he could finish, a thick vine lashed out violently, sending the three-meter-tall Crimson Fire Monkey crashing against the wooden fence, breaking a trunk as thick as a person's waist!
Boom!
The ground trembled, and both of them nearly fell over, watching as the vine, over a meter in diameter, swung back toward them again.
"Damn, does it have to be this fierce? Crimson Fire, get up and bite it!"
Daniel was startled and quickly grabbed a handful of Source Crystals. In the blink of an eye, he unleashed a series of Spirit Techniques that freed the Crimson Fire Monkey from where it had been embedded in the fence.
It took a deep breath, its belly swelling to twice its size, and its height surged to over four meters. With its "boxing gloves" clashing together, it charged furiously at the Vine Dragon.
Smack!
There was no difference from before; the Crimson Fire Monkey, enhanced by Daniel's series of supportive Spirit Techniques, was once again sent flying.
This time it soared over ten meters into the air before the Vine Dragon slammed down heavily upon it.
Boom!
The Crimson Fire Monkey crashed to the ground like a meteor, causing the earth to crack open, with massive fissures spreading out like a spider's web.
In the center appeared a nearly ten-meter-deep pit, where the Crimson Fire Monkey lay at the bottom, struggling to stand up. The fury in its eyes had been replaced by sheer terror.
It was evident that this Crimson Fire Monkey was no match for the vine; after all, this Vine Dragon was just one among dozens... The gap in strength between them was frighteningly vast.
The two exchanged glances and fell silent.
Xiar hesitated for a moment, looking at Daniel's pale face with confusion. "Isn't your totem about to undergo Ultimate Evolution? Why is it..."
The second half of his sentence didn't even come out before the slap to the face arrived too quickly.
Whoosh!
The Vine Dragon swooped down with a howling sound, aiming to take down the Crimson Fire Monkey in one strike.
This time, the Crimson Fire Monkey finally realized the strength of its enemy. It turned and began to flee, spitting out a large mouthful of strange liquid under Daniel's command, transforming it into a blazing fire in an attempt to block the Vine Dragon.
Then it turned and fiercely smashed against the wooden fence, trying to carve out an escape route.
Unfortunately, the Vine Dragon passed through the flames without a care, emerging with a slight singe as it crashed down from the air.
"Bro, don't just stand there like an idiot, hurry and run for your life!"
Daniel's usual confidence had completely vanished. As he turned to escape, he saw that the First-Level Spirit Master stood still, gazing up at the incoming Vine Dragon with a smile. "My little treasures are here; I think we can take him on without needing to run."
"Hah, are you stupid? A few crocodiles are useless..."
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of thunderous roars erupted from behind him as thick wooden fences were violently shattered. Massive monsters charged in recklessly, becoming mere shadows as they collided with the Vine Dragon, leaving it momentarily stunned in place!
