Is this... a assassination?
Xiar was momentarily stunned, staring blankly at the blade that had appeared in his chest. The overwhelming pain had dulled his senses, leaving him feeling cold and stiff in that spot.
Moreover, the wound felt like an endless void, continuously devouring his life force, making him acutely aware of his vitality draining away.
"Is this life absorption?"
Twenty meters away, Allen watched in shock.
Under his gaze, a pitch-black Humanoid Monster suddenly appeared behind Xiar, like a ghost materializing out of thin air. Its claws held a strange Black Dagger, which effortlessly pierced through Xiar's Guardian Spirit Light!
Then he saw Xiar's Burgundy Long Hair begin to turn white from the roots, rapidly spreading until all of it was completely snow-white.
At the same time, Xiar's skin changed; fine wrinkles appeared on his face, and in the blink of an eye, he transformed from a vibrant youth into an elderly man with white hair!
Roar!
The Two-Headed Monkey abandoned Allen and lunged forward with a roar, aiming to kill this sudden enemy.
The Humanoid Monster moved like a ghost in the darkness, its face resembling a mask of a ferocious demon, with glowing green flames burning in its eye sockets.
Cackling!
The thin monkey-like Totem Beast let out a sinister laugh and swayed as if to disappear again; however, it did not succeed in escaping.

Though it lasted less than a second, it was enough. The ten-meter iron rod in the hands of the Diamond Hand descended with terrifying force and crashed down onto the monster's head!
In the final moment, the black creature attempted to evade in terror, but the iron rod had already fallen, smashing its right arm and half of its body into pulp!
Without waiting for it to escape further, the nearby Hellhound let out a terrifying and mysterious howl, causing its body to stiffen once again in place.

With a sickening crunch, it could no longer flee; its entire head was smashed to pieces by an iron rod, and its body exploded into fragments!
Xiar's stunned mind quickly reacted. Struggling against the dizziness from excessive blood loss, he summoned the White Spirit and allocated all the 0 Evolution Points he had just gained to his constitution.
His constitution attribute, originally at 1, instantly jumped to 1.
When the constitution is below 1 point, raising it by 0.1 requires consuming 0.5 Evolution Points; exceeding 1 point doubles the cost to 1 point, and further increases double again!
It was clear that as he continued to improve, it would definitely keep doubling. This was the fundamental reason he had not increased his attributes until now.
But now was a life-or-death crisis; he could no longer afford to waste even a moment.

“Damn Bastard! Tear him apart!” After recovering from near death, Xarl roared with fury.
A mere Second-Level Spirit Master had actually managed to nearly kill him using a strange totem that could conceal its form along with a mysterious dagger!
It was truly a matter of less than an inch; if that dagger had shifted just a little to the left, it would have pierced his Heart directly!
Once the Heart was pierced, no amount of Evolution Points could save him, and even with the Heart of Life, survival would be impossible!
If it weren't for Cerberus retrieving the Heart of Life crystal, effectively killing the Ultimate Totem and granting him a sudden influx of 19 Evolution Points, the single remaining Evolution Point he had would not have been enough to force his survival.
So many "ifs"—if even one thing had gone wrong, he would have been dead!

The deadly assassination had drained his mental and physical energy completely, leaving him feeling increasingly weary and unable to keep his eyes open.
He leaned wearily against Cerberus. With a thought, the diamond-like figure holding a ten-meter iron rod moved toward Rody, who lay on the ground several dozen meters away.
This person possessed an infinitely potential super totem and was almost guaranteed to achieve Super Evolution in the future, transforming into the most terrifying Disaster Beast. He could not allow someone who harbored hostility toward him to survive!
