The tentacles stretched for dozens of meters, longer than the steamship itself, covered in reddish-brown bumps and dotted with suction cups the size of basins.
Tentacles coiled around the steamship, wrapping from the deck in an attempt to ensnare the entire vessel, causing the sailors on deck to scream in terror.
Some sailors snapped into action, hurriedly searching for weapons to try to sever the menacing tentacles.
However, the tentacles appeared soft but were incredibly tough; striking them felt like hitting thick cowhide, leaving only insignificant wounds that could not cut through at all!
At that moment, Zoro brandished a three-meter-long greatsword, his massive frame leaping into action as he swung down hard on a tentacle over a meter in diameter, slicing it cleanly in two.
The severed tentacle, over ten meters long, writhed on the deck like a giant python, knocking several sailors off their feet.
Zoro quickly jumped over and grabbed the tip of the tentacle, flinging it into the sea.
"Quite a big fellow, almost a pseudo Ultimate Form..." Warner murmured.
Xiar nodded. "Indeed, marine creatures can grow immensely larger than terrestrial ones. So, are you interested in giving it a try?"
"Of course I am."
As soon as Warner finished speaking, he suddenly leaped into the water. An unexplained fluctuation spread out instantly, making the sailors feel as if a humming sound was echoing around them.
This sound was mysterious and distant, reminiscent of a lullaby sung by a mother, instilling an involuntary sense of calm and tranquility.
The tentacles quieted down, slackening and collapsing onto the deck.
Meanwhile, underwater, Warner swam up to face the terrifying sea monster, standing atop its head and locking eyes with it. The purple light in his gaze tinted the surrounding water into a dreamy violet hue.
Moments later, the head of the Giant Squid, measuring several meters in diameter, finally stopped trembling, its eyes filled with gentleness.
Its dozens of meters long Tentacles gathered together, lifting Warner out of the water.

Standing atop the Tentacles, Warner emerged from the depths, walking onto the deck as if taking a stroll, a smile on his face. "It's not a Totem Beast; just a Source Power Radiation Monster. Its strength is at the peak of the Ultimate Evolution Body."
"Not bad, worth nurturing," Xiar replied.
It was entirely normal for someone with stronger mental power than his to be able to enslave such a marine giant.
If Firefly were to recover, with Firefly's mental power enhancement, Xiar could also subdue it solely through Mental Attack...
The Steamship continued its journey, now with a Sea Monster leading the way. Its massive Tentacles effortlessly cleared away seaweed, allowing the Steamship to pass more easily.
By the next morning, a thick fog suddenly appeared ahead, resembling a Grayish White wall blocking the way.
However, the Steamship did not stop; instead, it plunged into the dense fog, gradually being swallowed by it.
"We're almost there. Once we pass through, we'll reach the lair of the Black Flag Pirate Crew. This fog is somewhat artificially created using a special plant called Mist Seaweed. When planted extensively, it can form such dense fog," Warner said, his eyes still flickering with images. The Black Cat sat motionless on his shoulder like a puppet.
Above them, two seagulls flew scattered in the sky over three thousand meters high, while below lay a strange circle of fog.
In the center was an island covered with red mangroves and Coconut Trees among other tropical vegetation, where some human structures could be seen hidden within the forest.
With the help of the two pairs of eyes, even the thickest fog could not lead them astray. The Steamship steadfastly sailed toward the center of the mist.
"Did you notice?" Xiar suddenly asked.
"I did. The psychic waves around us are growing stronger; it seems we've stirred them up. Various Sea Monsters are beginning to approach quietly," Warner replied with a frown.
Xiar waved his hand, a look of surprise crossing his face. "You're mistaken; it's not the Sea Monsters, but these seaweeds!"
"Seaweeds?" Warner, puzzled, ordered the Sea Monster clearing the path ahead to use its Tentacles to bring a piece of seaweed onto the deck.
Holding the piece of seaweed, he suddenly noticed something different; these seaweeds were emitting faint psychic waves!
Psychic waves are unique to all intelligent beings; they are an external manifestation of the soul. Ordinary plants and animals have souls that are too weak to produce any noticeable psychic waves.
"This is... Mutated Evolution?" Warner exclaimed in astonishment as he saw the seaweed in his hand moving like a slow snake, gradually wrapping around his palm.
At that moment, the Sea Monster clearing the way ahead suddenly became ensnared in heavy bindings. The seaweed, which could have been easily brushed aside by its two Tentacles, now transformed into what resembled Sea Serpents, wrapping around it tightly!
Not only that, but Warner could clearly sense that after entangling the Sea Monster, these seaweeds quickly took root and began to devour flesh and blood!
"Source Power truly lives up to its reputation as the strongest catalyst, causing organisms to undergo infinite Evolution," Xiar said with an increasingly radiant smile, as if he had discovered some priceless treasure.
"It’s not just this piece of seaweed that has mutated; the entire Sea of Devil's Algae is undergoing Mutated Evolution. They have formed a unified whole and birthed a collective consciousness!"
"In other words, a massive life form that envelops this sea area is about to be born!"
"Is it really possible to play like this?" Warner realized the key and was momentarily dumbfounded.
Generally speaking, plant totems tend to be larger than animal totems; however, even a Disaster Level plant totem is at most a few hundred meters tall.
But the Sea of Devil's Algae covers an area of over a million square kilometers!
If a super life form were to truly emerge from it, the entire world would bow beneath its feet. It's unimaginable how powerful it could become.
"Don't worry, it's not that easy to break free from it. Right now, it's merely an unconscious aggregation of spirits. It will take an incredibly long time before it can possess true independent consciousness," Xiar continued to marvel, never expecting to witness such an incredible existence.
"Countless Demon Algae with weak souls are linked together, collectively forming a Consciousness Entity far beyond any Disaster Beast. If you can completely control it, you will become the god of this sea!"
The strongest attack of a Disaster Beast only covers a few thousand meters, equivalent to nuclear weapons on Aqua Star.
However, the Sea of Devil's Algae envelops an area of hundreds or even thousands of kilometers. If it were to unleash its strongest strike, it could definitely create a tsunami hundreds of meters high, sweeping everything away!
