A giant, three meters tall, carried an axe on his back and called out to all the pirates with a booming voice, accompanied by the creaking sounds of his movements.
Hundreds of fierce men and women emerged from the buildings, each holding strange bells as they made their way toward the water's edge.
The surface of the water began to churn, and massive figures surfaced from beneath, all various types of Sea Monsters—sharks, Sea Serpents, Eels, and more—each stretching over ten meters, some even reaching several dozen meters in length.
Among them, the most numerous were the Sea Serpents, displaying a variety of colors and patterns: some were black and white, others brown and black, or adorned with green rings.
These serpents, each several dozen meters long, were exceptionally vibrant, even emitting a faint glow. Surrounding them were thousands of smaller Serpents that also measured over a meter in length, forming a massive ball of serpents.
They encircled the entire island. As the pirates shook their bells, the serpents seemed to receive a command and began to disperse in all directions.
The giant leaped onto the back of a Giant Shark, while other pirates jumped onto various large Sea Monsters. They then departed from the island to search for any unknown enemies daring enough to invade.
These bells had been personally crafted by Captain Hilton using special materials, granting them the ability to control these Sea Monsters.
With hundreds of Sea Monsters and thousands of Sea Serpents at their disposal, they formed one of the most terrifying legions of the Black Flag Pirate Crew.
Since its establishment several years ago, the Black Flag Pirate Crew had never once been approached stealthily. Those who dared to enter the Sea of Devil's Algae had long since become food for the Sea Monsters and algae—none survived!
However, despite commanding tens of thousands of oceanic creatures and scouring the surroundings, the giant could not find any trace of their adversaries.
If it weren't for that presence confirming otherwise, he would have thought there were no Invaders at all.
The fog surrounding the island was too thick, making it difficult for even them to locate the Invader. They could only send thousands of Sea Serpents and other monsters to search.
Unable to find anything, unable to see, the opponent vanished like a ghost, leaving the giant to return to the island in disappointment.
On the island, a tall man stood there, a large pipe clenched between his teeth. A scar ran from his left ear across his entire cheek, adding a fierce look to his demeanor.
Seeing their grand display of activity, a playful smile spread across his face as he exhaled a puff of smoke and remarked, "Oh? What are you all doing? Have you been invaded by enemies?"
"Crocodile, this is none of your business!" the giant replied coldly, instinctively gripping the massive axe on his back.
However, the other man showed no signs of fear in the face of his imposing figure. Instead, he clicked his tongue in curiosity and said, "Tsk tsk, how can it not be my business? I represent the Queen and have come to assess whether you qualify to become members of the Alliance Council."
"If you can't even deal with a mere weak enemy, it really makes one wonder how you have risen over these years. Is it solely by massacring those worthless commoners?"
"Bastard, you're asking for death!"
The giant immediately flew into a rage and swung his axe down at a spot less than three meters away from Crocodile, creating a massive crack in the ground and sending shards of bone flying.
Yet not a single piece touched the Scarred Man; the bone fragments and debris seemed to hit an invisible barrier and fell harmlessly to the ground.
Crocodile suddenly burst into laughter. "Hahaha! Trash! You think you can take me on? You should train for a few more years. At your current level, I could crush you with just one hand!"
An astonishing wave of energy erupted from him, causing the giant to feel as if an invisible pair of arms were choking him, making it impossible to breathe!
The giant clutched his neck with both hands and struggled desperately. His originally dark brown cheeks turned bright red as breathing became increasingly difficult. Fear filled his wide copper-colored eyes, yet he could not escape this suffocating sensation.
"Enough, Crocodile, stop it!" Captain Hilton strode forward, his voice filled with anger.
Crocodile, upon hearing this, retracted his mental pressure, causing the giant to abruptly cease his torment. He stumbled to the side, no longer daring to say anything further.
He could sense that the other party possessed a power far superior to his own, comparable to that of Captain Hilton!
And Crocodile was merely one of the four commanders under the Queen's command!
"We, the Black Mist Society, are honored to participate in this Pirate Festival and to be a part of the Pirate Alliance Council. But do not take this opportunity to provoke us; otherwise, you may not leave this island!" Hilton said darkly.
The other party's arrogance was blatant, completely disregarding the entire Black Flag Pirate Crew and openly attacking his subordinate general—this was a blatant provocation.
However, he had to endure it because the other party was an envoy of the First Pirate Crew, representing the authority of the Pirate Queen!
At this moment, they had no choice but to tolerate it; daring to confront them head-on would only lead to their destruction!
"Well, it's good that you're participating; after all, pirates from all over the world will join in. Your Majesty is preparing to consolidate all pirate forces to establish a massive pirate power and challenge the Two Great Empires!"
Crocodile laughed heartily, still wearing an indifferent expression as he casually surveyed his surroundings like a tourist on vacation.
His actions ignited fury among the members of the Black Flag Pirate Crew, each revealing their naked killing intent.
Yet the other party remained unfazed, as if certain they would dare not voice their anger.
"Continue searching for those Invaders. Once found, eliminate them!" Hilton ground out through clenched teeth as he issued another command.
"Yes!" the giant replied loudly, ready to unleash the anger he had been harboring onto those unfortunate Invaders.
He had already been planning in his mind how to torment those Invaders, determined to make them wish they were never born as a way to vent his fury!
Suddenly, a thick fog was pushed aside, and a Steamship leaped out from within.
Three figures stood at the bow of the ship, looking down at them with cold killing intent.
"Interesting. We couldn't find you, but it seems you've come looking for death!" the giant laughed broadly, shaking a bell. One by one, enormous Sea Monsters surrounded the Steamship.
At his command, they would be destroyed.
Yet, the three on the ship remained completely unfazed. A Silver-Haired Youth suddenly jumped down from the vessel, landing steadily on the back of one Sea Monster.
To his astonishment, that Sea Monster showed no signs of struggle; instead, it obediently allowed him to stand on its back and leisurely swam toward the island!
The Sea Monsters retreated in unison, clearing a wide path for him.
With a thud, he leaped off the Sea Monster's back and onto the island, gazing indifferently at them. "Are you the Black Flag Pirate Crew?"
