"I'm not interested," Xiar coldly rejected.
However, the person before him seemed unwilling to let it go, still wearing a cynical smile as he said, "Don't be so quick to refuse. You seem unaware of Your Majesty's reputation. If you knew, you would be begging to join!"
"Once again, I'm not interested." Xiar's tone grew even colder. "I know who your so-called Empress is, but I have no desire to become her Servant."
"Oh, who gave you the confidence to speak so boldly?" Crocodile's smile vanished, his voice laced with threat.
"Chloe Hancock, Fourth-Level Spirit Master, possesses a Disaster Beast known as the Great Banyan Tree. She was once a princess of a kingdom that was destroyed by the Harrison Empire and has since wandered overseas. Later, by sheer luck, she rose to power and achieved Super Evolution, becoming the supreme ruler of the seas. Am I wrong?" Xiar stated expressionlessly.
"Unfortunately, for the last time, I have absolutely no interest in becoming her subordinate. Don't think you can threaten me just because of her!"
In reality, he had only scratched the surface of what lay beneath.
Chloe, as the Captain of the First Pirate Crew, was an ambitious individual who proclaimed herself Empress and sought to rival the Two Great Empires with her unparalleled strength.
She was currently aiming to consolidate all pirate forces under her command, establishing a vast pirate alliance that would stand alongside the Two Great Empires and Atlan as one of the top powers on this planet!
Such an ambitious person would never allow her subordinates to wield power.
Becoming her subordinate would mean being treated like a servant; how could Xiar ever accept being beneath someone else?
"Interesting. To refuse Your Majesty's invitation so decisively—do you really think you can act recklessly based on your own strength?" Crocodile casually tossed a seed onto the ground, which quickly sprouted into a young Banyan Tree from the rocks.
Xiar frowned slightly. "What? Are you planning to fight me? Is your way of doing things so tyrannical that it leaves no room for others?"
According to the known storyline, Hancock's Pirate Crew should still be in a dormant phase, only declaring their dominance next year.
But now, Crocodile was completely in a commanding position, ready to annihilate anyone who dared to defy him. Wasn't that a bit too arrogant?
"Child, it seems you do not understand who you are facing. Do you really think that by killing that previous useless fool, you can stand against me?" Crocodile extinguished his cigarette with a flick of his hand, and the Grayish White Source Power radiated forth, flowing like water onto the Banyan Tree above.

"Haha! The key point is, you seem unaware that my greater mission is to devour this foolish monster below! What a ridiculous creature! Do you think that by breaking its chains, you can use it as a trump card to provoke us? Let me thoroughly destroy your reliance on it!"
As Crocodile's maniacal laughter echoed, the Banyan Tree, less than a meter tall, surged upward in the wind. In just a few seconds, it grew to over ten meters high and continued to swell in a Frenzy.
A trunk thick enough for two people to embrace came crashing down, with thick roots piercing deep into the rock and directly embedding themselves into the giant turtle's back.
The giant turtle's shell, several meters thick and incredibly hard, could not withstand the attack at all; it was pierced through as easily as tofu!
Roar!
The giant turtle let out an angry roar and opened its massive mouth, suddenly unleashing a powerful torrent of water that slammed into the Banyan Tree like a high-speed water blade.
However, it was futile. A faint green defensive shield appeared around the Banyan Tree's surface. The water blades capable of cutting through steel crashed against it but could not even make it sway!

The giant turtle thrashed violently, trying to shake off the parasite on its back, but no matter how it struggled, it could not resist.
In contrast, the Banyan Tree grew ever more vigorously, its roots deeply embedding themselves into its flesh, drawing nourishment from it to continue its explosive growth!
“Haha, without completing Super Evolution, you are ultimately just an ant. You might as well submit and be devoured by Mr. Tree!” Crocodile scoffed disdainfully, not regarding the Behemoth at all, treating it instead like a piece of meat on a chopping block.
What a powerful Devouring Ability!
Xiar sighed. To be honest, he really did not want to face this individual before him, as this person represented the ocean overlord.
Unfortunately, there was no choice; if he allowed the giant tortoise to be consumed, Xiar would have no chance of escape and would become the next target.
He decisively issued the command: “Attack him!”
Zoro and the Hunting Lion immediately lunged forward at his words, but neither the three-meter-long great sword nor the sharp claws could shake their opponent in the slightest.
When they had attacked the Nightmare Demon earlier, they had managed to create ripples in its defensive shield. Now, however, that pale green barrier enveloped both the Banyan Tree and Crocodile, and even the attacks from two Ultimate Forms failed to produce any visible disturbance. It was like ants trying to shake a giant tree!
There was nothing to be done; Xiar had already recognized that this Banyan Tree was indeed the avatar of that Disaster Beast, equivalent to the opponent's clone. This layer of defense was sufficient to withstand all attacks beneath disaster level!
In other words, even at his peak, he would be completely unable to shake his opponent!
After growing to twenty meters tall, the Banyan Tree suddenly stopped its ascent and instead sprouted a strange Bud at its top.

A bizarre and terrifying swallowing sound emerged as blood-colored liquid was transported up along the bark—it was the Essence of Flesh from the giant tortoise!
The giant turtle thrashed wildly, its massive body creating towering waves that crashed around it. It even flipped over in the water, dragging the Banyan Tree down into the depths of the endless sea.
Yet, it was all in vain. The countless roots of the Banyan Tree were ravenously consuming its flesh and blood, channeling all the vital essence to the topmost Bud, which transformed into a deep crimson, glowing with a bloody light.
The Bud grew larger and larger, as if it were nurturing a mysterious and powerful unknown entity, unfolding bit by bit.
A faint sound emerged, delicate yet resonating deeply within the soul—it was the sound of blooming flowers.
At the same time, the fierce energy radiating from the giant turtle began to weaken, gradually being devoured by the strange Banyan Tree.
In that moment, Xiar, submerged in the seawater, suddenly closed her eyes, emanating a soft purple glow.
The giant turtle continued to struggle and roll in the water, causing the entire sea to boil. The surrounding seaweed was tossed about chaotically, sinking into the depths.
However, as if responding to some call, these strands of seaweed slowly approached Xiar, forming an enormous green net.
A strange wave of energy emerged, resonating throughout the ocean as a colossal consciousness began to awaken…
