As they approached, each one lay down on the ground, allowing the following insects to step on their bodies, creating a sloping staircase with their forms.
Then, at the top of the staircase, the insects constructed a high platform out of thin air, and in the center appeared a magnificent throne seemingly crafted from Amethyst.
Xiar walked step by step toward the high platform and sat upon that throne under the gaze of countless humans.
An unprecedented cheer erupted once more; everyone was shouting with abandon as if they could not survive without doing so.

"Come forth, choose your strongest warrior to defeat this most ordinary soldier. If you can defeat him, I will allow all of you to return alive!"

The Chieftains rose one after another, their eyes filled with battle intent as they gazed at the individual before them, ready to leap into combat against the enemy.
The leader among them had slain the guardian beast, leaving them with no desire to confront him. Yet this person was merely an ordinary member of that formidable army, instilling no fear within them.
"Then let the battle begin," Xiar announced calmly.

The Black Wolf Chieftain let out a furious roar and was the first to charge forward, pouncing like a fierce tiger descending from the mountain towards the much slimmer human!
The human bore a gruesome scar across his face, his lips curled into a cruel smile. His brown hair was tied back in a ponytail that danced behind him as he moved.
