In the northern mountains of Farn County, a Black Behemoth flapped its wings and soared through the sky, circling above.
This giant creature appeared quite strange; its head and body resembled that of a Lizard, but it had a pair of enormous Bat-like wings on its back and four sturdy legs below.
Its back was covered with large black scales the size of washbasins, and its body stretched over twenty meters long, making it look extremely massive and fierce.
However, three humans stood quietly on its back, completely unaffected by the fierce winds at such high altitudes.
In their line of sight, various terrifying monsters flew through the air, with many beasts boasting wingspans exceeding ten meters. Yet none dared to approach; they all kept their distance, retreating several kilometers away.
"The creatures near the Source Gate are clearly evolving at a speed far surpassing those in other areas. They have already given birth to Ultimate Forms, and the number of these Ultimate Forms seems to be increasing rapidly," Warner said quietly, concern etched on his face.
"Ultimate Forms are just the beginning. It won't be long before true wild Disaster Beasts are born. This world is destined to fall into the most terrifying disaster," Xiar replied, showing little worry about it.
"Indeed, the Source Gate represents the origin of this world. Once it opens, it will trigger a super-fast Evolution across the entire world, leading to the current brilliant era of Evolution. As you said, survival of the fittest will prevail. With their Evolution, humanity's dominance on this planet will ultimately face the harshest challenges."
Images flickered in Warner's eyes; these were scenes he had seen from above through a fast-moving Totem Beast located hundreds of kilometers away.
Upon reaching Third Rank, his field of vision had expanded tenfold, allowing him to see far beyond a hundred kilometers.
In the scenes he observed, countless terrifying monsters surged across the ground like a tide toward human cities.
Yet humanity did not back down; a massive legion was stationed there, with thousands of Spirit Masters engaged in brutal warfare against these monsters.
Ultimate Totems rampaged across the battlefield, slaughtering thousands of creatures. The Legion Level strength was fully displayed in this group combat scenario.
However, amidst the tide of Radiation Monsters were also Ultimate Forms. Although they could not match Ultimate Totems one-on-one, their numbers had already surpassed those of the Spirit Masters' Ultimate Totems. They fought against them in sheer numbers and even overwhelmed a mammoth beast nearly twenty meters tall, resembling a mountain!
"They're evolving too quickly. The totems cultivated by Spirit Masters simply cannot compare to them," the last person finally spoke up, his face filled with an unshakeable shock.
He was Walkerly, a Third-Level Spirit Master who had previously been stationed at Storm Harbor but was defeated by Blood King Camila from the True God Cult and subsequently captured directly by Xiar at Storm Harbor.
Having been marked with a Spiritual Mark by Xiar, he had no choice but to become her servant and was one of only two Third-Level Spirit Masters under Xiar's command.
Previously ambushed, he felt a lingering resentment, but through their interactions, he had come to realize just how formidable the seemingly handsome and frail young man beside him truly was. Thus, he had completely become the other’s loyal subordinate.
Now, under the suppression of the Magic Web, Farn County was not in dire straits, but the northern counties were suffering greatly. One city after another had been slaughtered by monsters, and now a terrifying Beast Tide was forming, threatening to breach the fortress guarded by the Human Spirit Master.
Even more frightening was the emergence of several Ultimate Radiation Monsters, posing a lethal threat to this human stronghold.
“Don’t worry, someone is about to make a move. Pay attention,” Xiar said with a faint smile, pointing towards the northwest.
As their gazes shifted, they witnessed a shocking and terrifying scene.
A sudden explosion of crimson light erupted from that direction, resembling a second sun. The blinding radiance spread in all directions, instantly enveloping the Beast Tide within several kilometers.
Under this terrifying glow, one monster after another emitted silent screams as their fur turned to ash, and soon their entire bodies began to char.
When the light gradually dissipated, hundreds of thousands of Radiation Monsters lay quietly on the ground, many reduced to charred ashes. Only a few Ultimate Forms remained capable of struggling or moving!
However, these Ultimate Forms also suffered devastating injuries, having been knocked unconscious by an oncoming Ultimate Totem. After the intense heat cooled down, they were all taken into the human fortress one by one.
“This is a Disaster Beast—Lava Dragon!” Walkerly exclaimed with wide eyes, his face filled with shock.
The Lava Dragon was one of Harrison's Guardian Beasts of the Empire, capable of unleashing torrents of flames that could instantly turn a city into a sea of fire.
Under such an attack, even Ultimate Forms could not survive!
“A Disaster Beast... I wonder when my Lizard Dragon will achieve Super Evolution?” Xiar murmured as well.
Ultimate Evolution represented a fundamental transcendence that granted totems the ultimate power possessed by living beings, rendering them impervious to all mortal attacks.
Super Evolution, on the other hand, elevated Evolution to a level comparable to that of deities; no amount of Ultimate Forms could withstand a Disaster Beast, just as mortals could not slay gods!
Howl!
The giant beast beneath them let out a roar, clearly unfazed by the terrifying blow it had just received. It was none other than Xiar's earliest possession, the Ultimate Evolution Body—Half Totem—Komodo Dragon!
"Lizard Dragon, Special Totem, Ultimate Form, capable of Evolution (requires the construction of a Destruction Dragon body, progress %).
Abilities: Devour, Earth Tremor, Dragon Roar, Destruction Fire, Regeneration.
This terrifying creature resembled a mythical dragon, feeding on various powerful monsters and continuously enhancing its strength by devouring the corpses of these creatures. Even more frightening was its incredible regenerative ability; it could regenerate even after having its Heart pierced!"
After achieving its Ultimate Evolution, this Giant Lizard experienced an explosive increase in power, leaping towards the mythical dragon's realm, and was named Onyxia by Xiar.
The so-called Destruction Dragon body involved constantly refining its form, allowing its body to strengthen infinitely until it ultimately completed Super Evolution.
In simpler terms, it meant eating—endlessly consuming!
However, this process was painfully slow. Despite the Lizard Dragon having devoured thousands of Radiation Monsters, the progress was only at %, indicating that it needed to consume monsters of equal rank to rapidly enhance this progress.
"Return. As long as Radiation Monsters do not give birth to Disaster Beasts, they will never truly be able to confront humanity. A smile crept onto Warner's lips. "Yes, your idea is truly remarkable. I also look forward to the moment such a legion appears on the battlefield..."
