A faint wave of energy spread out, and the Firefly hovering in mid-air glowed with brilliant purple light, freezing all the monsters in place, rendering them unable to approach.
Xiar stood leisurely with his hands behind his back, observing the opponent: "Go ahead, unleash any attacks you wish."
Seemingly enraged by this taunt, the Hundred-Meter Giant Tree uprooted its thickest root. The branches above transformed into massive arms, resembling a treant from a fantasy world. Its ten-meter-long root foot came crashing down towards him.
The Moon Child let out a furious roar, and the tentacles atop its head morphed into gigantic hands that seized the incoming attack.
