This realization was strange, like an understanding of principles or information that came naturally, guiding him on what to do and what benefits would follow. However, the specific process still required him to explore on his own.
It was a peculiar sensation.
"Hey, aren't you and the Evil Beast sworn enemies? Why don't you go take it down?" After the crisis had passed, Cecilia snapped back to reality, unable to suppress her skepticism as she looked at her Totem Beast.
"I can't shake the feeling that you're lying, you deceitful fat dog!"
"I'm just out of energy. Every time I traverse worlds, it consumes a massive amount of energy, and it takes time to recover naturally. Besides, I'm not a dog, let alone a fat dog; I'm a Guardian!" Moko retorted, grinding its teeth.
"Pfft! With your size, you can't even run fast. What gives you the right to fight these monsters?"
As this odd pair bickered, Xiar continued to study the somewhat baffling object before him.
The previous series of data had provided explanations that came naturally to his mind, clarifying the meanings behind those textual figures. Yet, this so-called Source Evolution Points seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, lacking much explanation.
If he were to make a sacrifice... His gaze shifted towards the labels marked "Collapse" and "Slumber." Whenever he focused on those names, he instinctively understood what they referred to—his current Totem Beasts.
"Firefly is my Main Totem; it directly affects my ability to advance to Fourth Level, so I can't sacrifice it. Then I'll choose from the other three." Xiar hesitated for a moment but quickly settled on a target.
"Among the three collapsed totems, Moon Child possesses the strongest body. It should have a significant impact on my future; clearly, it's the best choice right now."
"Then let's begin."

He felt a jolt in his head, as if something crucial was being taken away from him—something immensely important to him.
Then everything faded away, returning to tranquility.
On the Unreal Panel, the solitary Source Evolution Point vanished, along with the name "Moon Child."
However, he did not feel that the other party had truly disappeared; instead, it felt as if they were slowly merging with him, becoming an integral part of his body!
This transformation was exceedingly slow; he estimated it would take at least fifty years, or perhaps even longer.
"One Source Point is too slow; I must continue hunting those so-called Evil Beasts," Xiar realized instantly.
He was unwilling to wait such a long time. An urgent sense of pressure filled his heart, as if the entire world was compelling him to grow stronger—he had to grow stronger, for stagnation meant death!
Next, under Moko's guidance, they began to move in a specific direction.
"The rules of the Inner World and the Surface World are completely different; time flows differently here as well. The most important thing to note is that you must never stay in one place for too long; otherwise, you will attract various unknown threats. It's not just the Evil Beasts; there are even more unfathomable entities. Even we Guardians could perish and turn into Source Artifacts that drop into the Surface World," Moko explained as they walked.
"In this world, there is no place that is absolutely safe!"
"This truly is a terrifying place," Cecilia couldn't help but cling to Xiar's arm, as if only this could provide her with a semblance of security.
Compared to this unreliable totem, the Silver-Haired Youth clearly possessed far more formidable power, and strength was the greatest guarantee of safety.
"By the way, I've been listening to you talk about the Inner World and the Surface World. What exactly is the difference between these two worlds?"
"It's simple. The Inner World is the realm within the Source Gate; it is the origin of all things—the place where everything begins and ends. The Surface World is where you live, where souls experience and grow. To put it more vividly, the Inner World is like a mother's womb nurturing life; all souls are born here before descending into the Surface World."
"So those Invaders must come here first before they can descend into the Surface World?" Cecilia suddenly understood.
Moko nodded and said, "Yes. They undergo a special transformation here to conceal their World Will, allowing their souls to descend into the Surface World and gradually grow stronger to plunder the Source of Origin!"
"So we can find those Invaders here?"
"That's it!"
Cecilia immediately kicked it. "Then why don't you hurry up and look for it?"
"You think if we could find it, we would need to seek your help?" Moko rolled its eyes.
"Then why don't you hurry up and look for it?" It received another kick on its backside.
"I already explained, didn't I? Those guys are too good at hiding. Even the World Will can be deceived, let alone us guardians." Moko grew increasingly impatient.

The girl pointed behind it. "What is that!"
Cecilia pointed in terror at what was behind Moko, which turned around only to find a paper figure had unknowingly followed it!
It instantly became agitated, sensing the almost despair-inducing powerful aura emanating from the figure, but instead of retreating, it lunged forward to attack.
To its surprise, the paper figure was easily torn apart without any resistance.
Before it could ponder this, it suddenly heard Xiar sigh and point at the ground. "Don't look anymore; that's just a hair from the opponent!"
Boom!
The entire mountain beneath them suddenly rose high, transforming into a gigantic Evil Beast that stretched thousands of meters long!
This Evil Beast was no longer just a simple paper monster but had taken on the true shape of a mountain.
They had been walking on each other all along!
“How are we supposed to fight this?” Cecilia said, exasperated.
This monster was many times larger than the Lava Dragon; it was essentially a mountain. Unless their strength reached Disaster Level, they were utterly powerless against it!
Boom!
Su Yun leaped several dozen meters away and punched a massive stone in front of him, shattering it instantly.
However, it was useless; that large stone was less than one percent of the monster's size.
Even more terrifying was that the mountain-sized Evil Beast had already launched its attack, revealing gaping maws like bottomless abysses, attempting to swallow them whole!
