Thirty Years Later
Powerful insects scuttled across the ground, while the highly efficient Three-Dimensional Transportation system operated tirelessly day and night. Towering buildings, each hundreds of meters high, lined the streets.
In just thirty years, all cities had transformed into these modern metropolises, where the vast majority of the population, numbering in the billions, lived in this convenient urban environment.
Transportation was so efficient that even with millions of people residing in a single city, there was no sign of congestion.
Here, transportation extended from the sky to underground, boasting over a hundred three-dimensional routes.
The airspace reached thousands of meters high, with every hundred meters divided into a transportation zone, creating independent transportation systems. To enter another area, one had to report in advance to the Source Network Traffic Management Bureau.
Every skyscraper was equipped with numerous Insect Landing Platforms, allowing Flying Insect Beasts to land there. Thus, people could travel around the world without ever needing to descend from their buildings.

Specialized Cargo Insect Beasts—though they could hardly be called Insect Beasts anymore—resembled semi-living, semi-mechanical creations with terrifying transport capabilities.
Interestingly, these buildings had a unique origin. With meticulous design and sufficient materials—or simply by consuming a large amount of Source Points—you could manifest such massive structures out of thin air on any vacant lot.
This led to the emergence of a specialized group of Architects. Employers only needed to provide specific conditions for them to design buildings in various styles.
Incredibly, designing a building took several months, but constructing one required only a moment!
Yes, just a moment; it was as if Illusory constructs materialized into reality. A building would grow out of nothingness—completely unscientific!
But this was the terrifying capability of the Source Network. With the fusion of spirit and energy, its power had reached an astonishing level, capable of interfering with reality and merging with matter.
Soon enough, the Source Network would become a synthesis of energy, spirit, and matter—a creation with god-like abilities that could conjure various objects out of thin air.
No one could understand this kind of power, just as no one knew how truly formidable their sole ruler was.
For thirty years, that ruler had not shown their face, yet the entire world underwent a systematic and comprehensive evolution, stepping into a brand new technological era. Countless individuals downloaded various knowledge through the Source Network, instantly acquiring an astonishing amount of information.
There was no longer a need to spend years or even decades learning bit by bit; now, one only needed to download to learn any field of knowledge, standing on the shoulders of others for further study and saving countless people from long periods of time.
The birth of this new way of learning propelled the entire Knowledge System of society into rapid development.
A person's wisdom is finite, but the accumulated wisdom of billions can create an astonishingly prosperous world.
Humans are the most incredible existence in this world; it is precisely because of their presence that the world has completely detached from its former natural state.
