Tengye Kikuko was taken aback; she never expected Jiang Chen to be so bold as to confront Murata Kazuki. However, upon reflection, it made sense. Jiang Chen was from Huaxia, likely a rich second generation, and no one dared to disrespect him. Thus, when faced with Murata Kazuki's provocation, he naturally retaliated. Yet, Jiang Chen overlooked one crucial detail: this was the Island Nation, not Huaxia, and Murata Kazuki was not just some spoiled rich kid but a member of the Yagawa Association.
"Jiang Chen, please hold back and don't confront him. I'll handle this," Tengye Kikuko urged softly.
"I’m trying to eat here. I don’t like noise around me. If he’s still in front of me in ten seconds, he can’t blame me for being rude," Jiang Chen replied nonchalantly.
Tengye Kikuko was stunned; she hadn’t anticipated Jiang Chen would be so resolute.
"Mr. Jiang, this isn’t Huaxia; it’s the Island Nation. You need to understand that," Tengye Kikuko quickly said.
"Is there a difference?" Jiang Chen's simple question left Tengye Kikuko speechless.
"Kikuko, what did he say?" Murata Kazuki inquired.
"Nothing important," Tengye Kikuko naturally withheld Jiang Chen's words from Murata Kazuki. They were far too arrogant; fortunately, Murata Kazuki's grasp of Huaxia Language was limited. If he had understood, he might have exploded with rage.
"Three seconds left," Jiang Chen stated.
Tengye Kikuko couldn't believe that Jiang Chen would actually do anything to Murata Kazuki. After all, the power disparity between them was too great; how could one person dare to provoke someone like Murata Kazuki?
"Alright, time’s up. Since they refuse to leave my sight, I’ll make them disappear," Jiang Chen said calmly.
As his words fell, he stood up and reached out, grabbing Murata Kazuki by the throat. Though Murata Kazuki was a tough character, in front of Jiang Chen, he was like a weak little chick with no ability to fight back. Jiang Chen effortlessly tossed him out of the sushi restaurant.
His subordinates were dumbfounded; they knew their boss's skills—one person could take on ten—but today he had been thrown out by a young man like a rag doll. It was simply unbelievable. After recovering from their shock, they rushed forward.
With a few swift moves, Jiang Chen had them all on the ground unable to get back up.
After dealing with Murata Kazuki and his crew, Jiang Chen returned to the sushi restaurant and sat down in front of Tengye Kikuko.
"You actually know martial arts?" Tengye Kikuko exclaimed in shock.
"I know quite a few things. Now that it’s quiet, let’s eat," Jiang Chen smiled. Those who had been with Murata Kazuki were lucky today; Jiang Chen couldn’t be bothered to commit murder in public; otherwise, they would have been dead beyond saving.
"Even if you know martial arts, you shouldn’t have offended Murata Kazuki. Let me tell you—he’s part of the Yagawa Association. You must have heard of them?" Tengye Kikuko began to worry.
"I’ve heard of them; they’re the biggest gang organization in your Island Nation," Jiang Chen replied casually, not taking the Yagawa Association seriously at all.
A mere gang organization from the Island Nation didn’t even qualify to stir any ripples in Jiang Chen’s heart. Gangs around the world thrived on extortion, drugs, and gambling; Jiang Chen couldn’t be bothered with them now. If they sought death by provoking him, he wouldn’t mind making them disappear from Earth ahead of schedule.
"How can you not be afraid at all? After treating Murata Kazuki like that, he will definitely seek revenge on you," Tengye Kikuko said anxiously; this situation was escalating out of control.
