Kikuko Tengye was also taken aback; she had not expected Jiang Chen to be so bold as to stand up to Kazuki Murata. But then again, considering that Jiang Chen was from Huaxia, he was likely a rich second generation, and no one dared to disrespect him. Thus, when faced with Murata's provocation, he naturally retaliated. However, Jiang Chen overlooked one crucial point: this was the Island Nation, not Huaxia, and Kazuki Murata was not just some spoiled rich kid but a member of the Yagawa Association.
"Jiang Chen, please hold back and don't confront him. I'll handle this," Kikuko urged softly.
"I’m trying to eat here and I don’t like noise around me. If he’s still in front of me in ten seconds, he can’t blame me for being rude," Jiang Chen replied casually.
Kikuko was stunned; she had not anticipated Jiang Chen's firmness.
"Mr. Jiang, this isn’t Huaxia; this is the Island Nation. You need to understand that," Kikuko quickly said.
"Is there a difference?" Jiang Chen's question left Kikuko speechless.
"Kikuko, what did he say?" Kazuki Murata asked.
"Nothing," Kikuko naturally wouldn’t relay Jiang Chen’s words to Murata; they were far too arrogant. Fortunately, Murata’s grasp of Huaxia Language was limited; if he understood, he might explode with rage.
"There are three seconds left," Jiang Chen announced.
Kikuko didn’t believe that Jiang Chen would actually do anything to Kazuki Murata. After all, the power disparity between them was too great; how could one person dare provoke someone like Murata?
"Alright, time's up. Since they refuse to disappear from my sight, I’ll make them disappear," Jiang Chen said coolly.
As soon as he finished speaking, he stood up and reached out, grabbing Kazuki Murata by the neck. Although Murata was a tough character, in front of Jiang Chen, he was like a weak little chick with no ability to fight back. Jiang Chen easily lifted him and threw him outside the sushi restaurant.
Murata's subordinates were dumbfounded; they knew their boss’s skills—one person could take on ten—but today he had been thrown out by a young man like a rag doll. It was simply unbelievable. After recovering from their shock, they rushed forward.
With just a few effortless moves, Jiang Chen had them all on the ground unable to rise.
After dealing with Murata and his men, Jiang Chen returned to the sushi restaurant and sat down in front of Kikuko.
"You actually know martial arts?" Kikuko exclaimed in shock.
"I know quite a few things. Now that it’s quieted down, let’s eat," Jiang Chen smiled. Today had been lucky for Murata’s group; Jiang Chen had no desire to kill in public. Otherwise, they would have been dead without a doubt.
"Even if you know martial arts, you shouldn’t have offended Kazuki Murata. Let me tell you—he’s part of the Yagawa Association. You must have heard of them?" Kikuko began to worry.
"I’ve heard of them; they’re the largest gang organization in your Island Nation," Jiang Chen said nonchalantly, not taking the Yagawa Association seriously at all.
A mere gang organization from the Island Nation didn’t even qualify to stir any ripples in Jiang Chen’s heart. The gangs on Earth thrived on extortion, drugs, and gambling; at this point, he couldn’t be bothered with them. If they sought death by provoking him, he wouldn’t mind helping them disappear from the Earth ahead of schedule.
"How can you not be afraid at all? After how you treated Kazuki Murata just now, he will definitely seek revenge on you," Kikuko said anxiously; this situation was escalating further out of control.
