Chapter One Hundred Seventy-Three: The Battle of Xuanling Pass (Part Two) 0

No one expected that a mere round of ordinary attacks would leave gaping holes of various sizes along the two-thousand-meter-long city wall. Compared to many large cities, the length of Xuanling Pass was almost negligible, but among the checkpoints of Huaxia Nation, its length and thickness ranked firmly in the top three. Yet, this formidable checkpoint struggled to withstand even a single round of assault. It was evident just how powerful the weapons summoned by Ye Huan from the 2012 Arms Compendium were on the battlefield. 0

As the dust settled, the scene atop Xuanling Pass was chaotic. Yamamoto Ichiki, who had been positioned there, found himself in a dire state. Surprisingly, he had survived under Ye Huan's careful attention, hiding in a corner behind the wall, looking disheveled and covered in dirt. Even the soldiers stationed at Xuanling Pass from Eastern Japan Fusang could not have anticipated their leader appearing so disheveled. 0

However, as he finally managed to stand up and lift his head, Yamamoto Ichiki was horrified to see hundreds of black boxes outside the wall erupting with new flames! 0

"It must be Ye Huan! Only he, as a summoner, could call forth such terrifying weapons!" 0

Burying his head again in frustration, Yamamoto Ichiki seemed to merge with the wall behind him, disappearing without a trace. Yet, if there were ninjas with greater strength nearby, they would clearly see that Yamamoto Ichiki had formed a thin membrane around his body using Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy, camouflaging himself to match the color of the wall as he advanced rapidly. 0

Soon after, on the other side of the wall, Yamamoto Ichiki reappeared. Surrounding him were nearly two hundred ninjas who had gathered quietly. The stronger ones were only one rank below him, while those weaker were generally around Third Rank. It was only at Third Rank that ninjas could fully utilize their abilities on the battlefield and blend into their surroundings. 0

Seeing Yamamoto Ichiki suddenly appear startled these two hundred ninjas; they looked at him with confusion, seemingly questioning what had happened and what those black boxes brought by Ye Huan were all about. Unfortunately, even Yamamoto Ichiki himself did not know and thus could not provide an answer. 0

Nevertheless, faced with this situation, Yamamoto Ichiki displayed the composure expected of a commander. He pointed towards the hundreds of Type 99 main battle tanks below and instructed his subordinates: "You all see that Xuanling Pass is under heavy attack. If I am not mistaken, it is the doing of Ye Huan who thwarted my plans last time. Now I command you to destroy those black boxes outside the city at all costs!" 0

"Yes!" 0

A neat response echoed as the Eastern Ninjas wore serious expressions. They were acutely aware of what Ye Huan had recently accomplished on the Nine Provinces Continent, which had elevated him to a status equivalent to that of a Ninth Level Warrior. This realization compelled them to proceed with caution. One by one, they gradually faded from view before descending from the city walls. Behind them, Yamamoto Ichiki observed the ninjas beginning their movements and turned his gaze toward the Apache Attack Helicopter hovering about a hundred meters above the hundreds of Type 99 main battle tanks. He sneered repeatedly, whispering in a tone only he could hear: 0

"Ye Huan, back in Willow Village, I escaped right under your nose. This time, my subordinates will harvest the lives of your people!" 0

Yamamoto Ichiki's words were lost on Ye Huan, but if he had heard them, he would likely have laughed even colder than Yamamoto himself. The notion of taking lives from Dragon Hall was laughable; not to mention whether the Eastern Japan Fusang ninjas could evade detection by the Infrared Sensor, even the defensive capabilities of the Type 99 main battle tanks had left Han Liu, head of the Han family and a Ninth Level Warrior from Southern Xiongnu, helpless against Ye Huan. What chance did others have? 0

As reality proved itself, when a wave of red dots suddenly surged toward this direction on the Infrared Sensor, Ye Huan immediately detected the ninjas and even wore a radiant smile. 0

Invisible? The Infrared Sensor was right there; no matter how stealthy those ninjas were, they couldn't change their body's normal temperature! 0

There was no need to alert the members of Dragon Hall. In front of countless Eastern Soldiers at Xuanling Pass, Ye Huan piloted the Apache and swiftly moved toward the location of those ninjas. At that moment, that area was so empty that not a single person was present—at least that's what Yang Guangyao from Dragon Hall believed. He even inquired through his Bluetooth headset: "Young Master, what are you planning to do?" 0

"Hold your position; no one is to fire without my command!" Upon hearing Yang Guangyao's voice, Ye Huan suddenly remembered that behind him were over a hundred cannons aimed forward. What if they accidentally fired upon themselves... 0

‘Looks like I need to resolve this quickly...’ 0

Muttering to himself, Ye Huan quickly reached a corner above this open area and pressed the attack button for the cannon on the Apache Attack Helicopter. Instantly, flames erupted from the front of the Apache as it unleashed a barrage at a rate exceeding 600 rounds per minute. If anyone thought that the cannon on the Apache was inferior in speed or power compared to an ordinary machine gun, they were gravely mistaken; simply put, it was called a cannon because its caliber exceeded 20 millimeters. 0

This was evident when Ye Huan's armed helicopter fired its first round, striking a stealthy ninja directly in an empty area and tearing him apart before crashing into the ground and creating a crater. 0

However, with the appearance of this ninja's corpse, members of Dragon Hall stared wide-eyed from within their hundreds of Type 99 main battle tanks in disbelief. They had clearly seen that within five hundred meters of Xuanling Pass, there had been no one present. But now? How could they explain that body? 0

On the walls of Xuanling Pass, as the commander Yamamoto Ichiki gaped in shock—his eyes likely wider than any member of Dragon Hall—he muttered repeatedly: "No, it can't be; this is absolutely impossible..." 0
