After leaving Nanshan Cemetery, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan returned to Southern Wilderness City together.
However, since it was quite late, Liu Yuhan exchanged a few words before logging off to rest. On the other hand, Yi Tianchen was in a state of excitement; with his impressive attributes, he had no intention of logging off to sleep without showcasing them properly.
It was just past three in the morning, and Southern Wilderness City was still brightly lit as if it were daytime. The city was bustling with activity, with players hurrying about everywhere. Clearly, many players had already reached level 10 and were now in this beautiful coastal city to make their mark.
After bidding farewell to Liu Yuhan, Yi Tianchen first headed to the Blacksmith Shop to repair a few pieces of equipment. He then made a trip to the apothecary, where he reluctantly spent 2 gold coins to purchase 40 bottles of Fourth-Level Life Potion, which instantly restored 1000 Health Points—an excellent item!
As for the resurrection card, Yi Tianchen had considered it but was deterred by its steep price of 1 gold coin each.
With the basic preparations completed, Yi Tianchen made his way to Central Square. This area was the largest open market in Southern Wilderness City and did not charge any fees for occupying space. After securing a good spot, Yi Tianchen showcased his retired Snake Shadow Sword. After demonstrating it a few times without needing to shout for attention, countless players gathered around.
An 8-level Dark Iron Equipment weapon was still highly sought after at this stage. Moreover, with many players entering the city after reaching level 10, it was the perfect time to sell such a weapon. If he waited any longer, its value would undoubtedly decrease significantly.
As soon as the players spotted the Snake Shadow Sword, their eyes lit up with excitement, and discussions erupted all around.
One player exclaimed in disbelief, "Wow! Is that really Dark Iron Equipment? I haven't even seen a Fine Iron Weapon yet! This is fate! Hey! How much are you selling that Snake Shadow Sword for? I'll take it for 2 silver coins!"
Another player couldn't hold back and jumped in angrily, "2 silver coins for an 8-level Dark Iron Equipment? Are you out of your mind? Even counterfeit ones cost more than that!"
Yet another player chimed in, "Exactly! You can't even buy a counterfeit for that price! You should just go home and sleep instead of embarrassing yourself here..."
The first player couldn't take the humiliation and slipped away from the crowd. The others continued discussing prices; many had already offered up to 50 silver coins. However, Yi Tianchen remained unfazed, crossing his arms and smiling as he assessed his own psychological price point.
Suddenly, a nonchalant voice called out from outside, "I'll offer 2 gold coins! Anyone without money should step aside!"
The crowd gasped and parted to make way. A Swordsman Player entered accompanied by two lackeys. He looked no older than twenty-one or twenty-two and strutted in with an air of arrogance.
Upon hearing this offer, Yi Tianchen felt a jolt of surprise; 2 gold coins were indeed a substantial amount at this stage. Although the Snake Shadow Sword was Dark Iron Equipment, it was still a low-level weapon that would soon be outdated. Since there was someone willing to pay such a high price, it would be wise to sell it quickly.
"How about it? I'll offer you 2 gold coins. Are you selling that sword or not?" The swordsman stared at Yi Tianchen, as if he had already made up his mind, ready to snatch it if the answer was no.
Yi Tianchen chuckled lightly, "Of course I'm selling!" After scrutinizing the swordsman for a moment, he asked, "Are we trading now, or...?"
"Of course now!" The swordsman laughed heartily and immediately initiated the trade request, tossing up 2 gold coins in the blink of an eye. The golden gleam was truly tempting.
"That's excellent!"
Yi Tianchen wasted no time; in fact, he seemed a bit anxious that the swordsman might change his mind. He quickly threw the Serpent Shadow Sword into the trade window. Once both parties confirmed, they heard a 'clink' sound as Yi Tianchen's bag securely added 2 gold coins.
At the same time, Yi Tianchen learned from the trade panel that this wealthy young man’s ID was Flower Young Master.
Trade successful!

Outside Southern Wilderness City, at the East City Gate, Moonlight as Cool as Water!
After opening the map and confirming the general direction towards Wolfman Valley, Yi Tianchen dragged Dark Blade into the dense forest.
In less than ten minutes, darkness enveloped the surroundings in eerie silence. The pale moonlight filtered through the leaves like scattered white frost, while a gentle mountain breeze brought a refreshing chill of midnight that seeped into his bones. Not even the sound of insects or beasts could be heard.
"Rustling..."
As he continued forward, Yi Tianchen suddenly felt an ominous premonition, as if someone was watching him. He turned to look but only saw dense bushes and thorns. Suddenly sensing movement, Yi Tianchen swiftly advanced, making several quick turns before darting left into the bushes, disappearing from sight.
The wind whispered through the trees, and soon after, a series of rustling sounds echoed in the forest.
Someone!
Yi Tianchen suppressed the turmoil within and continued to hide in the bushes, gently shaking off some branches that obscured his view. To his surprise, he saw several figures stealthily approaching. There were four of them, but due to the limited visibility, he couldn't make out their faces clearly.
However, judging by the weapons they held, there was an assassin, a swordsman, a berserker, and a knight. As they drew closer, Yi Tianchen was taken aback; these individuals had covered their faces with black cloth.
Could they be professional robbers? Yi Tianchen couldn't help but chuckle bitterly.
"Rustling..."
The assassin in the front suddenly froze, squinting ahead with suspicion while lowering his voice. "Strange, why has it gone quiet all of a sudden?"
"Let's move forward a bit more; he might be just ahead!" The knight craned his neck and kept peering ahead.
The swordsman pondered for a moment before speaking up. "Are you sure this guy really has money on him?"
"Yeah... just earlier in town, this guy sold an eighth-level Dark Iron Equipment longsword for two gold coins! If we take him down and guard his body, we’re bound to get some gold coins!" The berserker's eyes gleamed with the promise of riches in the darkness.
"Wow! Is that for real? Two gold coins? How many times do we have to rob to get that?" The assassin's voice trembled with excitement.
The berserker nodded and whispered, "Enough talk; we don't want him to notice us. Let's keep following him!"
Yi Tianchen felt conflicted; indeed, people die for wealth! He continued to carefully conceal himself in the bushes, watching every move of the four. In his mind, a scenario of a one-versus-four battle played out.
"Creak..."
A gust of mountain breeze blew through, snapping a dry branch and producing a sharp cracking sound. Instantly, the four shouted in alarm and huddled together, their eyes wide with panic.
Yi Tianchen was taken aback. These four fellows seemed to frequently engage in robbery, their movements so practiced and skilled. Unfortunately, their mental fortitude was lacking; a mere branch snapping could startle them like this? With such a level of composure, they dared to venture out and rob others?
"What the hell is going on?" The swordsman’s voice trembled with fear.
"Stop scaring yourself; it’s just the sound of some branches breaking!" The assassin sighed in relief, quickly regaining his composure as he toyed with the dagger in his hand and continued forward.
"Crack, crack, crack..."
"What the hell! No, this situation is not right! Could it be... could there be ghosts?" The Berserker exclaimed in shock.
"Don’t talk nonsense; there are no ghosts in this world!" The swordsman replied sternly, his expression serious.
"Damn it, we’re in a game; it wouldn’t be surprising if there were ghosts!"
"Come on! Is that all the courage you have? It’s just some branches!" The assassin turned around, exuding an air of disappointment.
In that fleeting moment, a swift glimmer of cold light suddenly sliced through the stillness of the night...
"Thud..."
The sound of flesh being torn apart echoed sharply through the dense forest. The assassin quickly looked down and saw a razor-sharp longsword piercing through his chest from behind. Warm blood trickled down the blade, dripping continuously from the tip.
Immediately after, a golden light surged along the blade, bursting forth with a loud "pop," as the dazzling Skill Radiance exploded---
Normal Attack! Blade Break Slash Lv-1!
-763! -822!
The assassin's face was filled with fear. Instinctively, he wanted to turn around and see what was happening, but the sudden depletion of his Health Points forced him to freeze in place. His body slowly knelt down, revealing Yi Tianchen behind him.
"Dammit! It's that kid! Everyone, attack together and take him down!" Berserker shouted, swinging his axe as he charged forward.
"Smack..."
Yi Tianchen smiled slightly, but his eyes were filled with killing intent. Unfolding a Necromantic Binding, he threw it out, causing Berserker to suddenly freeze in place, stunned. From the ground beneath him, two skeletal hands shot up and tightly grasped Berserker's feet.
The binding was successful!
"Whoosh..."
At the moment he trapped Berserker, Yi Tianchen flicked his wrist and charged toward the knight. The Dark Blade shimmered with a cold light as it swiftly cut through the air, leaving a deadly arc in its wake---
"Clang..."
A burst of sparks erupted in the dark night!
