"Five days," Fang Fei playfully flicked her tongue and smiled, saying, "We have plenty of supplies, and we've traveled this route many times." 0

"Impressive," Cao Zheng remarked sincerely. Rowing a boat and riding in one were two different things. Just imagining sitting in a car for five days was daunting; now think about being on an Assault Boat swaying on the endless Sea Surface. It required not only physical strength but also a strong mental fortitude. 0

Cao Zheng studied the Sea Chart for a moment before looking up at the intelligent beauty before him, puzzled. "Haven't you encountered other Survivors at sea in recent years? There should be quite a few people choosing to escape overseas." 0

"We have encountered some," Fang Fei blinked and said, "Once when we went to the Trade Port for supplies, we came across a fishing boat late at night. It was drifting eerily, quite frightening. We chased after it and found that everyone on board was dead. We towed the fishing boat back and used it as a lookout station." 0

Cao Zheng was speechless, murmuring, "Dead?" 0

"Yes, starved to death," Fang Fei gathered her long hair and sighed. "They were likely among the early ones who rushed out to sea without supplies or fuel. Once their fuel ran out, they could only drift on the water until they starved." 0

A chill ran down Cao Zheng's spine; such a death was indeed tragic. If he ever found himself in that situation, he would undoubtedly choose to end it all. 0

"That's why we prepared for nearly two years to leave the island. Each time we set sail, just the fresh water and food took up two boats—it's a slow process," Fang Fei seemed to sense Cao Zheng's thoughts and chuckled lightly. "Don't worry too much; resources on the island are abundant, and our plantation yields are quite good." 0

"How do you solve the water issue?" Cao Zheng was very curious. An uninhabited island in the open sea couldn't possibly have running water, and digging wells was out of the question. He tentatively asked, "Reverse osmosis or distillation?" 0

"We considered many methods at first—collected dew and tried digging pits for rainwater; it was tough in the beginning. We thought about reverse osmosis and distillation too, but without equipment and resources, it was hard to achieve," Fang Fei recalled those difficult times with a hint of nostalgia in her eyes as she smiled lightly. "Sometimes traditional methods don't work; we still need to rely on high technology." 0

Cao Zheng wholeheartedly agreed. Many traditional methods could indeed work wonders at specific times, but old methods were still old methods—they were time-consuming and labor-intensive and sometimes couldn't meet people's needs. Moreover, ordinary people often fell into misconceptions, thinking that high-tech equipment required electricity, which was hard to obtain, leading them to engage in some misguided actions. 0

Considering the current environment, there were plenty of resources available domestically. Not to mention anything else, just electricity alone wasn't as difficult as many imagined. It's well-known that diesel can generate electricity; coal-fired systems can generate electricity too; hydropower and wind power can also produce electricity. If one didn't understand or know how to do it, they could learn—besides survival and fighting for resources, Survivors had plenty of time to master these skills. 0

Fang Fei smiled slightly and revealed, "Solving the electricity issue resolves most problems. We have wind-solar power generation units on the island; there's plenty of electricity available for you to do whatever you want." 0

"Wow! Where did you get that?" Cao Zheng looked enviously at her. This thing had zero emissions; as long as there was wind and sunlight, using electricity within a small area was indeed not an issue. 0

"The engineer who invented this is in our camp," Fang Fei said with a smile in her eyes. "Sometimes luck is essential too; assembling the generator took half a year, but thankfully it succeeded." 0

Cao Zheng was left speechless; such good luck left him with nothing to say. They had everything aligned—timing, location, and people all coming together perfectly. However, upon further reflection, he found it strange and curiously asked, "If you have generators now, why not make electric boats?" 0

"Akin means that while resources are abundant, they can also bring hidden dangers. The island remains safe due to its natural geographical position; if entry and exit were easy and straightforward, it could lead to chaos," Fang Fei frowned slightly and sighed. "You understand; there are quite a few people on the island now. To prevent any unfortunate incidents, sometimes we have to take certain measures." 0

Cao Zheng nodded in understanding without asking further questions; at this point in their conversation, anyone who didn't get it would be foolish. 0

"But there's no need to worry; it's still our home turf—Little Gold Town will be fine with all of you joining us." Fang Fei didn't want to cast a shadow over everyone before they even set out; she briefly explained the situation on the island before smoothly transitioning back to discussing preparations for their departure. 0

Cao Zheng and Fang Fei were discussing the maritime arrangements, while Song Jiu and others surrounded Dai Wei, inquiring about the yacht's condition. 0

Dai Wei had been recovering from his injuries for over ten days. Fortunately, with a strong physique as his foundation, that accidental injury had not left any lasting effects. Even after Huihui's blood transfusion, there were no adverse rejection reactions. Overall, this outdoor expert had fully recovered. Unlike Cao Zheng's fiery personality, Dai Wei was usually quiet and focused on his work, complementing Cao Zheng's dynamic nature. Both were around the same age, nearing thirty. Cao Zheng had a more delicate appearance that contrasted with his character, while Dai Wei exuded a robust masculinity. His expressive eyes and full lips, along with a well-groomed mustache, complemented his healthy tan skin and muscular build. With such a physique, he could easily be cast as a leading man in movies. 0

Song Jiu and Dai Wei stood by the car discussing yacht issues when they felt numerous intense gazes directed at them. Song Jiu couldn't help but chuckle; although she wasn't unattractive, standing next to such a handsome man made her feel somewhat self-conscious. Dai Wei appeared completely unfazed; perhaps being a heartthrob had accustomed him to the attention of others. 0

"Driving the boat isn't difficult; both Lao Cao and I can handle it. Qianqian and Xiao Meng can manage on their own too. There shouldn't be any major problems unless we encounter a storm," Dai Wei said, stroking his stubble and frowning in thought. "The open sea is different from inland waters; everyone should stay alert." 0

"Once we're on board, you and Lao Cao will be in charge," Song Jiu replied, not wanting to meddle in areas she wasn't familiar with. After a moment's thought, she asked, "Is there anything we need to do?" 0

"Nothing special. I'll let you know if I need your help. But it would be best to prepare some medicine; many of you haven't been out to sea before, and if anyone gets seasick, it could ruin everything," Dai Wei said, blinking as he recalled an easily overlooked detail. 0

"Getting sick is something you just get used to, right?" Song Jiu joked lightly. 0

Dai Wei chuckled at her comment but replied seriously, "It's better to be prepared. A two-day journey is under ideal conditions; the sea can be unpredictable. It's better to be safe than sorry." 0

"Alright, I'll take care of it," Song Jiu nodded in agreement and informed Dr. Zhong about the situation. She asked Yuan An and Luci to accompany her to find the necessary medicines. To prevent any mishaps, Luo Yu and Yang Xiaomeng's team would also join them so they could handle both tasks together. 0

Jiao Ziqian saw Luo Yu and her team getting ready to leave and hurriedly grabbed a Steel Saw Blade to follow them, exclaiming anxiously, "What about me? Brother Jiu, don't leave me behind!" 0

"You're not needed; go find your Doudou," Song Jiu grinned as she pulled Jiao Ziqian back from following them out the door. "You have another task." 0

"What is it?" 0

"Manual labor." 0

It had been mentioned before that both the Catamaran and Oil were ready for use, but everyone needed to figure out how to get the yacht into the water. The yacht was quite heavy; according to Cao Zheng, if they could get a crane, it would save them a lot of effort. However, thinking about it was easier than doing it—finding a crane was one thing; operating such machinery was another hassle altogether. 0

Song Jiu assumed the boats would be at the dock but was surprised to find that the so-called rental yacht was actually hidden in a Land warehouse. 0

"The yacht must have been privately ordered; transporting it to Land requires modifications according to the buyer's specifications for equipment and interior decoration. It's quite normal since Port Warehouse charges fees for storage—additional expenses can add up," Dai Wei explained as he noticed Song Jiu's troubled expression. "Should Lao Cao and I check the port again? There might be other boats available." 0

"No need; let's use what's readily available," Song Jiu shook her head in refusal. The situation at the port was still unclear; if zombies were concentrated there, finding a boat would be difficult enough—let alone getting into the water safely. Transporting it shouldn't be too complicated. 0

After a simple lunch, the team set out one by one to gather supplies. Wu Wentao stayed behind at their base for security while Song Jiu took Jiao Ziqian and two young men along with Dai Wei in three cars directly toward the yacht's location. Song Jiu wanted to check on the yacht first; if conditions allowed, she planned to tow it away using their vehicles instead of dealing with cranes—finding some common flatbed carts would be easier for loading the yacht onto their existing vehicles for transport into the water. 0

Dai Wei was speechless; this method wasn't impossible but posed its own challenges. 0

"Look," Dai Wei pointed at the large white double-decker yacht perched on mechanical arms within the vast warehouse and murmured thoughtfully, "How do we get it off its supports?" 0

The Cargo Hold was not a conventional warehouse, but rather the Repair Shop owned by the Yacht Club. A small number of scattered Zombies lurked outside, but Song Jiu and his companions had cleared a path on their way here, creating a relatively safe route. Inside the Repair Shop, a massive lifting device dominated the space, with a dusty yacht wedged between its mechanical arms. The ship's propeller at the stern appeared to be only partially installed. The entire workshop was dimly lit, filled with the stale scent of old oil and dust. A few large Trailers were parked at the entrance, but the lifting equipment required electricity to operate. 0

Song Jiu clicked his tongue in admiration as he climbed onto the crane and jumped onto the deck. The yacht was stunning, with smooth lines and an opulent interior filled with leisure and entertainment facilities. There was even a small outdoor swimming pool on the second level, offering a commanding view—a prime spot indeed. Jiao Ziqian and several others had already ventured down to the lower Sleeper Cabin to explore; Dai Wei was right—this yacht could comfortably accommodate twenty people. 0

Dust lay thick in the cockpit, and a fine layer of grime covered the helm. A gentle wipe revealed the luxurious sheen that such a vessel should possess. 0

"What should we do?" Song Jiu thought to himself, feeling overwhelmed. He had underestimated the situation; such a colossal object could only be dealt with using equally formidable means. His little tricks wouldn't suffice. 0

" Brother Jiu, come here for a moment." 0

Jiao Ziqian's voice called from the deck, and Song Jiu turned to look through the Porthole, suddenly changing his expression. 0
