I knocked on the door of Sister Li's house. Inside, besides Sister Li and her daughter, there were two other men. One appeared to be in his thirties, while the other looked even younger than me. He was dressed in a yellow robe, lounging on the sofa with his legs crossed, smoking and playing around, exuding a carefree attitude. This must be Wang the Master, the person Sister Li mentioned. The man in his thirties was dressed casually and looked clean and tidy; if I guessed correctly, he was Mr. Huang's doctor friend. 0

Wang was quite unprofessional; even when performing a ritual, one should at least show some decorum. Smoking so casually in a deceased's home was not something a polite person would do. 0

On the dining table in the living room, various offerings were laid out, along with some joss paper and two unwrapped incense sticks, looking quite proper. After entering the house, Liu Bi swaggered through the living room towards the inner room. As he left, he whispered in my ear, "There are two spirits in this house. I'll help you out; I guarantee that Wang won't be able to handle those two spirits." 0

I ignored him and didn’t respond because, apart from me, no one else in the house could see or hear him. 0

Once inside, I smiled and greeted Sister Li. She merely nodded slightly without saying a word. The other two men stood up from the sofa; the doctor remained silent, but Wang arrogantly pointed at me and said, "You are the one who brought the spirits into Sister Li's home." 0

"Ha ha, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just here to see Master Wang exorcise," I glanced at my watch and added, "The time is almost up; please proceed, Master Wang." 0

"I’m not used to having outsiders present during my rituals, so please step outside," Master Wang said without even looking at me. 0

I asked, "Alright then, where should I go?" 0

"Of course outside! Thanks to you, there’s an overwhelming resentment in this house. I'm afraid you might assist the spirits against me if you stay inside, so I kindly ask you to step outside," Master Wang continued with righteous indignation. 0

I had intended to watch Master Wang's performance, but after a moment of hesitation, Sister Li's face turned pale as she said, "Xiao Liu, you should go outside." 0

I nodded without saying anything further and stepped outside. Upon closer inspection of the door, I noticed it didn't even have a sealing talisman. 0

Soon after, I heard Master Wang say, "Sister Li, please take your daughter outside as well. The upcoming ritual might be complicated and could accidentally harm you both." 0

"Alright then, thank you for your help, Master Wang. Once it's done, I assure you that you will not be shortchanged," Sister Li replied respectfully with a sincere tone. 0

Sister Li's house was a spacious suite; even outside there was a decent-sized corridor with long marble benches. I sat on one of them. Sister Li came out with her daughter; oddly enough, the doctor didn’t follow them out. But then again, it made sense since he was a good friend of Master Wang and not considered an outsider. 0

After locking the door from inside, Sister Li walked over with her daughter and sat down on another stone bench beside me. With a calm expression on her face, she asked, "Aren't you supposed to confront him? Why didn't you speak just now?" 0

I didn't want to explain too much to Sister Li; all I felt for her was sympathy. Looking at the little girl's wrist, which was empty, I guessed that the red string I had given her before had either been discarded or burned. However, the little girl seemed to be in good spirits, as if she hadn't suffered any harm. 0

"Actually, the confrontation has already begun, so just wait," I said calmly, not wanting to continue the conversation. There was no need to lay the groundwork for something that was already a foregone conclusion. When the situation inside escalated, everything would naturally come to light. 0

Since there were no sealing talismans outside the door, Liu Bi rushed straight through it into the room. However, at Liu Bi's current level, even ordinary sealing talismans couldn't stop it. It approached Sister Li and glanced at the little girl beside her, a bitter smile appearing on its face. It must have thought of Mu Xue and felt quite uncomfortable about it, but that moment passed quickly. 0

When it reached my side, it wore a smile and said, "I didn't do anything; I just greeted those two ghost brothers. That Wang is all show; he can't handle even one of them. His techniques, talismans, and even that Peach Wood Sword are just for decoration. Compared to you, he's way off. Just watch; he'll definitely rush out within a minute." 0

I wasn't surprised that Liu Bi could see through those techniques and talismans because before its death, it had also been a cultivator. Although it hadn't studied for long, it had a certain understanding of Daoist Techniques due to its sharp intellect. 0

After saying this, Liu Bi actually started counting down: "Sixty, fifty-nine..." 0

I listened to Liu Bi's countdown without showing any reaction, feeling a wave of disdain inside. It claimed it hadn't done anything; wasn't calling out to them doing something? 0

When Liu Bi reached fifteen in its countdown, the door of Sister Li's house suddenly burst open with a bang. Master Wang and that divine doctor rushed out in a panic, looking particularly frightened. 0

Sister Li jumped up abruptly and hurried over, asking anxiously, "What happened, Master Wang?" 0

Master Wang stammered in distress, "Sister Li, there are two ghosts in your house that I can't handle! I'm leaving now! But don't worry; I'll contact my master; he can definitely help." 0

After saying this, Master Wang glanced at me with a frown but said nothing more as he headed toward the elevator. 0

Seeing this scene left me puzzled. What exactly did Liu Bi do to scare Master Wang so much? I turned to look at Liu Bi sitting on the stone bench with its legs crossed. It shrugged and said, "Haha, I just asked those two brothers to scare him a bit and borrowed some Yin Qi from them. I didn't expect Master Wang to be so weak; I overestimated him." 0

I was speechless. Now that Master Wang had left, there was no point in confronting him anymore; the outcome of that confrontation was already clear. 0

Sister Li watched Master Wang leave and then turned her piercing gaze toward me for a moment, making me feel uneasy. She still believed that I had brought those ghosts with me; however, that no longer mattered to me. How she viewed me was not something I cared about anymore—there was no point in arguing with those who didn't understand me; those who did understood without needing further explanation. 0

With Master Wang gone, the doctor remained behind. Seeing Sister Li glaring at me with displeasure, he seized the opportunity to say, "You Liu person brought these ghosts here. If you don't help resolve this situation..." 0

"I'll do as I please," I said as I stood up from the chair, staring directly at him. I felt confident because, if it came to a physical confrontation, his size didn't intimidate me at all. 0

"I-I'll call the police!" The doctor blurted out in a panic. 0

I laughed heartily and replied, "What about the two ghosts in that room? You know much more about them than I do. Go ahead and call the police; I'll help you with that." 0

As soon as I finished speaking, I took out my phone, pretending to call the police. In reality, I had no intention of actually reporting anything; such matters would be impossible to explain to the authorities. I just wanted to scare him a little. 0

Seeing me prepare to call, the doctor rushed over to grab my phone and said, "Forget it, this isn't a big deal. The police can't catch ghosts anyway. Just deal with the ghosts in that room, and we'll let bygones be bygones." 0

"Come on, I don't want to clean up your mess. You did something wrong and now you're trying to act all high and mighty about letting it go? If you really want to let it go, then I'll just call the police," I said, lifting my phone again. 0

Liu Bi watched me tease the doctor and couldn't help but burst into laughter from his seat. 0

As six o'clock approached, I thanked "Support Soul Sending" for their crown, "Midnight Heart" for their ninety-nine flowers, and "The Iron Armor Is Still There" for their fine wine. If all went well, there would be another update tonight, though it might be a bit later than usual. 0
