"My Tenant is a Female Ghost" is about a female ghost.
“Buzz buzz buzz~”
Bai Zhuo's phone vibrated, jolting him awake from a bad dream. Wiping the cold sweat from his brow, he glanced at his phone; it was only 7 AM, and it was Elder Ge calling. He answered the phone.
“Master?”
“Hmm, still not up? Young man, you need to exercise restraint. Ignoring the advice of the elders will lead to trouble!” It was clear that Elder Ge was in a good mood on the other end of the line.
Bai Zhuo forced a smile. “Master, please don’t tease me…”
“Haha, no more jokes. You still have much to learn, so don’t forget to come over early today.”
Having stayed up late last night, Bai Zhuo rubbed his dry eyes. “Got it, Master. I’ll be there right away.” After hanging up, he let out a long yawn and suddenly remembered that a female ghost had moved into his home last night, sending a chill down his spine.
Bai Zhuo cautiously opened his bedroom door and peeked into the room of the ghost—Su Meiniang. The door was closed, and whether it was just his imagination or something else, he felt an overwhelming presence of Yin Qi emanating from that room. It sent shivers down his spine and made him reluctant to look any longer.
Rarely waking up early, Bai Zhuo washed up and finally picked up his razor to shave off the stubble on his face, revealing a young and somewhat composed visage. He was quite good-looking, but the oversized round glasses on his nose ruined much of that appeal.
“Looking sharp! Time to head out. Oh right, Cao Xin,” he said while ruffling the hair of the boy standing behind him. “Things are pretty busy for your big brother right now; how about we take you to meet Mom sometime soon?”
Cao Xin lowered his head and stammered, “It’s okay, big brother… It’s just that I want to go out with you… That sister is so… so scary…”
“Cao Xin, her name is Su Meiniang. She’s just like that beautiful sister from before; she’ll be our neighbor now. She promised me she wouldn’t hurt you.”
Probably… Bai Zhuo added silently in his mind. Cao Xin was just a three-year-old Earthbound Spirit, while Su Meiniang had been an Evil Spirit for at least five hundred years—she could very well be a Millennium Ghost! Just think about it: would you really go out of your way to crush an ant hiding underground that poses no threat?
Cao Xin trusted Bai Zhuo and nodded obediently before retreating to one side to absorb Spiritual Energy. The pure and rich Spiritual Energy here attracted and drove any Living Beings wild; otherwise, how could Su Meiniang have become entangled with them?
"Good morning, Brother Bai!" The Tree Spirit Loli Peach suddenly appeared from nowhere and pounced on Bai Zhuo. Bai Zhuo smiled as he lifted the light-as-a-feather Peach Peach, causing her to giggle uncontrollably. Every time he saw the porcelain-doll-like fairy Loli, Bai Zhuo couldn't help but think of his younger sister, who, like their parents, had passed away many years ago.
"Peach Peach, you've grown so much!"
"Yes! I really love the Spiritual Energy here, Brother Bai. In less than a year, I’ll be able to transform into a full-fledged spirit!"
A Peach Tree Spirit? That must look wonderful!
"Oh? Then congratulations to you, Peach Peach!"
"Brother Bai, after I transform, I want a new name. I've thought about it; since you saved me, you should choose my name!"
Bai Zhuo didn't realize how important names were to spirits. Without thinking much, he blurted out, "How about White Peach? Let's call you White Peach! What do you think?"
"Hehe~ I have my name now! I'll be called White Peach! White Peach~"
The Loli was very happy and spun around Bai Zhuo a few times before darting off somewhere. Bai Zhuo chuckled and turned to leave, unaware that a pair of fox-like eyes in the room had been watching him intently.
Ghosts don’t need sleep, but Su Meiniang looked as if she had just woken up. Her hair was tousled, and she wore only a red silk bodice and golden silk pants, lazily leaning against the doorframe. Her long legs were crossed, her cute toes resembling jade beads, her flat stomach without an ounce of excess flesh, her delicate and smooth neck, slender fingers like green onions—every inch of her skin exuded an alluring charm.
"This child is truly strange; how can he even come into contact with a Tree Spirit? Unheard of..." Su Meiniang's voice was soft; if one listened to her for too long, their ears might just get pregnant! She was definitely not a female ghost; she must be a fox spirit!
Arriving at Ge's Flower Shop, it was around nine in the morning. As he pushed open the shop door, the sound of wind chimes rang pleasantly. Inside the shop was an unfamiliar aunt cleaning the storefront.
"Welcome..." Ge Shui Lian was watering the flowers when she thought a customer had arrived. Looking up and seeing it was someone she disliked, she greeted him coldly. "What are you doing here again? My grandfather has urgent business and is out."
Bai Zhuo wondered what exactly this woman found so displeasing about him that she seemed to oppose him at every turn. To be honest, Ge Shui Lian was also a beauty filled with youthful energy; standing next to her made one feel significantly younger. But so what? If she found him unpleasant, he felt equally uncomfortable around her!
Bai Zhuo thought about it and wanted to retort a few words, but suddenly remembered there were others present. In the end, he opened his mouth but said nothing.
At that moment, Ge Shui Lian's Apple Phone rang.
Bai Zhuo hadn’t had breakfast and felt full of frustration as he sat aside playing with his Domestic Brick Phone.
“Hello? Who is this?” Ge Shui Lian answered the call, her serious demeanor making her appear quite cute at first glance.
Bai Zhuo had good hearing; on the other end of the line was a girl, probably a classmate of Ge Shui Lian. “Hey, Lian Lian, want to hang out tonight?”
The vibrant young girl put down her watering can and exclaimed, “Sure! Where are we going?”
“Hehe, we’ve explored all the fun places in Ningcheng, but there’s one interesting spot we haven’t been to yet. I guarantee it’ll be fun!”
“Lanlan, stop teasing and just tell me!” To Bai Zhuo, Ge Shui Lian looked like a playful child, mischievous and eager. “Lian Lian, remember Old Town District?”
Ge Shui Lian frowned. “Yeah, I know that place. What’s fun there?”
“Ha ha! We’ve decided to explore Haunted Nanshan High School together. Let’s go! Just thinking about it is thrilling!”
Although Ge Shui Lian was indeed the heir of the Yin-Yang Family, she wasn’t particularly interested in this profession and learned things half-heartedly. The idea of visiting a school closed due to ghost stories didn’t appeal to her at all.
“Lanlan, that doesn’t sound good. Plus, it’s late at night; it could be dangerous.”
“What are you afraid of? Aren’t you always bragging about being from the Yin-Yang Family? Besides, there will be plenty of people going! Over a dozen! Your handsome Cold Young Master will be there too. Are you not going?”
As soon as Ge Shui Lian heard that Cold Young Master would be there, she hesitated. “Cold Young Master is going too? Well… this…”

"Hehe, I'm so scared! Let's meet at the entrance of Southern High School in Old Town District at ten o'clock tonight. It's dark and windy; if you don't come, your Cold Young Master will belong to someone else. There will be plenty of beautiful girls there too!"
"You just wait!" Ge Shui Lian gritted her teeth and shouted before hanging up the phone. She slammed her phone down on the table in frustration.
"What happened? Who made my precious granddaughter angry this time?" Coincidentally, Elder Ge had just returned, followed by a neatly dressed middle-aged man.
"Grandpa, you're back!" Ge Shui Lian rushed forward and hugged Elder Ge's arm, acting cute. "Grandpa, I'm going out to have fun tonight."

"I'm going to Old Town District. About ten college classmates want me to join them for an adventure at Southern High School."
"Southern High School?" Elder Ge thought for a moment. "I remember the principal from the south asked me to exorcise some evil spirits there; later the school moved to a new campus... Hmm, I don't think there's much danger. However, Grandpa has something urgent today and won't be able to look after you if anything unexpected happens...
