My Tenant is a Female Ghost
The night was deep and dark, and for some unknown reason, the usually mundane streets of Ningcheng were filled with the wailing of police sirens and shouts of anger, creating an eerie atmosphere.
The Lust Demon gradually dissipated into the air. Li Yue, lying on the table with her large belly, was jolted awake by the movements of the fetus inside her. Confused, she stared at her protruding belly. After a moment, the irregular movements resumed, causing Li Yue to cry out in pain.
"Ah! It hurts—ah…" Cold sweat broke out on Li Yue's forehead as she tried to get up, but the intense pain in her abdomen rendered her immobile.
"Ah, big brother, help me… it hurts so much, hiss… please check, it seems like something is coming out!"
Bai Zhuo frowned and looked over. Dark red mixed with yellow liquid flowed from between Li Yue's legs. It was Bai Zhuo's first encounter with such a situation, and he felt utterly helpless.
Li Yue screamed in agony, gripping the table tightly. "Ah—so painful!"
Suddenly, a loud crack echoed above them. Li Yue let out a horrific scream and fainted.
"Waaah waaah…" The cry of a baby pierced through the air, but chillingly, it soon transformed into a terrifying cackle!
"Hehehe…" A small figure emerged from between Li Yue's legs—it was a newborn baby! The baby was wet all over and grinned wickedly at Bai Zhuo, revealing sharp, terrifying fangs! This dreadful infant was no larger than a basketball and swiftly bit through the umbilical cord connecting it to Li Yue. Like a cheetah, it lunged toward Bai Zhuo!
The Demon Baby moved with strange speed; Bai Zhuo could hardly keep up with its movements.
"Wait… wait a moment!" Bai Zhuo gripped his Peach Wood Sword tightly, whispering to himself as he focused on the approaching figure.
A cold glint flashed in Bai Zhuo's eyes. "Now's my chance! Secret Technique—Thunder God Summons! Urgent Command!" With a fierce shout, Bai Zhuo hurled a talisman he had learned from Kagura Keiha at the Demon Baby.
The talisman stuck firmly to the Demon Baby. With a crackle, a bolt of lightning descended from above, illuminating Bai Zhuo's yard. The lightning struck the Demon Baby accurately, causing it to scream as it fell from mid-air and landed in the grass.
"Is that it? Too weak, right?" Bai Zhuo cautiously approached, noticing the Demon Baby charred black from the lightning strike, the air thick with the nauseating smell of burnt flesh.
Bai Zhuo slowly moved closer when the Demon Baby suddenly opened its eyes and giggled, "Hee hee hee!" like a nimble little mouse, darting towards the door. Bai Zhuo had expected a barrier to block the Demon Baby's escape, but to his surprise, it ran away without any hindrance!
Bai Zhuo exclaimed, "Damn it, I forgot this Demon Baby is 'human,' not a ghost!"
Indeed, the barrier in Bai Zhuo's yard only affected "souls," and had no effect on corporeal entities like the Demon Baby!
"Oh~ you're in trouble now, young man." Su Meiniang appeared beside Bai Zhuo out of nowhere, yawning as she spoke.
Bai Zhuo turned to look at her. Su Meiniang was dressed as before, in a pink bellyband and loose pants, her long, snow-white legs leaving little to the imagination. Above that were her flat stomach and an adorable navel; she was utterly charming. Her curves were prominent, and from the side, Bai Zhuo could almost see the outline of her bellyband.
While Bai Zhuo's brother showed no interest in the naked Li Yue, he had a strong reaction to Su Meiniang's clothed figure. Goodness gracious, this was a Millennium Ghost—one must not gaze upon her indecently!
He swallowed hard and coughed awkwardly. "Ahem... Su Meiniang, why is it like this?"
Su Meiniang rubbed her sleepy eyes with delicate hands, her voice softening even more as she spoke. "The Ghost Fetus is one of the most evil things in existence. Its essence is that of a ghost but it has a physical body. Thus, it exists outside of the three realms and is not bound by the five elements. If given enough time in this world, it will become something truly terrifying. If it learns some yin-yang techniques, even I won't be able to contend with it... Young man, you're in trouble; it will definitely seek revenge on you!"
"What the hell—! Stronger than you?" Bai Zhuo exclaimed in shock. In his mind, the Millennium Fox Demon and Millennium Ghost were already unbeatable existences; he never expected this Demon Baby could grow to be even more formidable than Su Meiniang! Bai Zhuo felt lost and muttered to himself, "If it's that powerful, what’s the point? Why doesn’t it just come out?"
"However," Su Meiniang said while standing next to the unconscious Li Yue and curiously poking at the placenta and umbilical cord left behind by Li Yue.
Bai Zhuo watched this scene in disbelief and asked, "What are you doing? Hey... Su Meiniang, stop that; it's disgusting..."
Su Meiniang withdrew her hands and looked at Bai Zhuo. "This Ghost Fetus is rebellious and violates natural order; naturally someone will deal with it." With that, she frowned slightly and added, "Look who’s here—Cao Cao has arrived. Bye-bye, I'm leaving now." With a swift turn, she vanished without a trace.
Bai Zhuo felt a sense of bewilderment. "What’s going on? Who’s here? Hey, don’t leave me hanging!"
Su Meiniang's voice echoed through the courtyard: "The path does not remain, the Underworld does not accept, eradicate the evil spirits, Yin Soldiers Borrowing the Path! I'm out..."
Yin Soldiers Borrowing the Path? What’s happening?
Just as Su Meiniang's words faded, Bai Zhuo felt the air grow thick and heavy, as if time itself had slowed down. A haunting military march filled the air! An eerie presence pressed down on Bai Zhuo, making it hard for him to breathe. He could only widen his eyes and stare at a group of "people" advancing through the air.
These Yin Soldiers were all tall and imposing; even the shortest among them stood at least two meters high. There were about twenty of them, their faces obscured by strange veils, rendering their features invisible. They wore battle-worn armor, each wielding a long spear and a broadsword, radiating an aura of menace!
What shocked Bai Zhuo even more was that they completely ignored the barrier and marched straight down!
This group of Yin Soldiers broke through the barrier and halted beside Li Yue.
The trouble was that Bai Zhuo didn’t know that "Yin Soldiers Borrowing the Path" had its taboos. If the Yin Soldiers were not escorting souls, mortals could not see them. However, if someone were unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse, their soul would be taken without negotiation; even the Underworld would be powerless to intervene!
Fortunately, encounters with "Yin Soldiers Borrowing the Path" were rare, so few mortals faced such situations. Unfortunately for Bai Zhuo, he had stumbled into one.
The twenty Yin Soldiers seemed to sense Bai Zhuo's presence, their veiled faces all turned toward him in unison. Bai Zhuo gasped in shock, frozen in place as if his very soul had been drained away, leaving behind nothing but a cold shell…
