Chapter 68: Outing with the Three Beauties
After Lian Yun's realm was restored, it was already early March, with three hours remaining until this year's Clear and Bright Festival.
Once she had arranged matters for the Clone Swallows and Ghost Slaves, Lian Yun walked into Meng Yixuan's private performance pavilion.

After listening to Meng Yixuan play several pieces, Lian Yun suddenly smiled lightly and asked, "Sister, would you like to go out for a walk?"

"Let's start by walking between the Twelve Cities. If we find any particularly scenic spots, we can venture outside the city."
Upon hearing this, Meng Yixuan's eyes lit up with curiosity and anticipation.
Lian Yun smiled and said, "Sister, do you need to prepare anything?"
Meng Yixuan nodded with a smile, then put away her guqin and turned to leave, her steps light and joyful.

Not long after, Meng Yixuan appeared in a simple ancient dress, wearing a veil that couldn't hide her inner beauty.
Lian Yun didn't say much about it and walked out of the pavilion with her. Upon reaching the entrance downstairs, they unexpectedly encountered a disheveled-looking general rushing in.
The general was taken aback upon seeing Lian Yun and Meng Yixuan and tilted his head to ask, "Junior Sister, are you two going out?"
Meng Yixuan stepped forward to wipe the general's face while lightly laughing. "Yun Di wants to take me out for some fun."

He dashed back up the stairs and soon ran into Azure Drift at the staircase. He pounced on her playfully. Azure Drift was both amused and slightly annoyed as she said, "Didn't I tell you not to come back until you're done with Medium Monarch? Why did Xin'er suddenly return?"
"Hehe! The old man has something to do, so he asked me to come back first. He'll pick me up after Clear and Bright," the general replied before running off and disappearing in an instant.
They had completely disregarded Lan Ruoxuan's initial request.
Before long, the still slightly damp general rushed down and leaped onto Lian Yun's back, waving his arm forward and shouting, "Go."
It was quite absurd that he shouted without even knowing where they were headed.
However, Lian Yun didn't mind; in fact, he thought it might be better to have the general along, as one of his purposes for this trip was to also look for Lin Xiaoyao.

The general seemed to be in a playful mood as he hopped off Lian Yun's shoulder and squeezed over to Meng Yixuan's side.
