After arriving at Village Edge, Ye Kai finally thought of a more ideal position in his mind.
After nimbly jumping down from the carriage, he glanced around and then headed straight for the western mountains, his expression growing increasingly serious.
"The previous characters should have been subdued by me. If any trouble arises next, it definitely won't be ordinary individuals; I need to be prepared."
Even though Ye Yi and Ye Er were Bio Warriors, they had their limits. After such an intense battle, they were nearly at their breaking point. If he hadn't ordered them to rest, they would likely have fought until death.
"God, is there still an Artificial Satellite monitoring us from above?"
"Lord God, we are currently receiving six different frequencies of Electromagnetic Waves from various directions. Calculations suggest that at least one Artificial Satellite is still scanning this area."
With a leap, Ye Kai crossed the three-meter-wide stream. He paused briefly before darting into a patch of low, dense bushes.
Having gone through the Biochemical Dimension and endured such prolonged combat, Ye Kai was almost accustomed to his physical capabilities and no longer felt like a child wielding a heavy hammer.
Suddenly, a connection prompt echoed in his mind: "Lord God, Ye Yi and Ye Er request to communicate."
"Mm!" Ye Kai surveyed his surroundings and, finding no issues, nodded slightly.
"Commander, we have rested well and request to engage in battle!!!" Ye Yi and Ye Er shouted almost in unison.
"Stay put! Once other warriors are born, each of you will lead a team of nine warriors and await orders!"
"I cannot always be in an absolutely safe environment. Some things must be faced on my own; I don't want to be weak," Ye Kai said calmly.
He was unsure when it had started, but his face maintained a tranquil demeanor even in these moments, keeping relative calmness in the face of adversity.
Ye Kai himself was puzzled about when he had become accustomed to this change within him.
Even during confrontations with opponents, thoughts raced through his mind—such as the need to deal with foes swiftly and decisively while maintaining an air of ease to intimidate them to some extent.
This relatively calm and intuitive state allowed him to analyze various situations more quickly and assess the strengths of both allies and enemies.
For instance, if someone were to jump out and obstruct him under the current circumstances, that person could only be a master!
And certainly, a master who would be much more troublesome than those he had faced before.
Once he encountered such a master, Ye Yi and Ye Er could become one of his most powerful assets.
“God, how is the analysis of the individual weaponry coming along?”
“Lord God, the analysis of the individual weaponry is currently 97% complete and is about to enter the final debugging phase.”
Ye Kai finally felt a slight surge of excitement. After all, if he had access to Mechanical Armor, Gauss Needle Gun, and Magnetic Blade that were tailored for human use, his chances of survival would increase significantly.
Most of these items already existed in the Biochemical Dimension, either completed or in the process of being developed.
These would serve as crucial credentials for him to establish himself in the real world. Even if he couldn't directly confront those powerful beings, at least he would have some leverage.
Suddenly, Ye Kai stopped because two carriages appeared ahead, moving slowly along the path at the foot of the mountain, one in front of the other.
He crouched behind a large rock and observed quietly. Although he understood that such horse-drawn carriages still existed in suburban or remote areas, he didn't expect to see so many.
Including these two, he had encountered three carriages in succession.
Moreover, the surrounding trees were gradually becoming sparse, revealing quaint single-story houses. The number of farmers and passersby along the road was also increasing.
He even spotted some fruit farmers carrying their harvests, their voices occasionally rising in laughter and playful banter.
“Almost there... As long as I cross one more hill, it will be unlikely for them to find me again! But now is precisely the best time for an ambush!” Ye Kai felt increasingly vigilant.
Suddenly, five or six figures leaped swiftly through the air. Almost within three to five seconds of his observation, a red-haired man abruptly appeared in front of the two carriages, blocking their path.
The moment Ye Kai caught sight of the young man's face, his pupils constricted. He recognized this person!
"The Evil Dragon?"
Wasn't he dead? Wasn't he completely shattered by Ye Yi's Psychokinesis?
No, wait!
Although this guy's appearance resembled that of the previous Evil Dragon, his aura and presence were entirely different. The man's arrogant, fierce red hair looked as if it had been dyed with blood.
Moreover, this Evil Dragon had a Western rapier hanging at his waist.
He stood silently in the path of the advancing carriage, and just by standing there, the two horses began to rear back and whinny uncontrollably.
"This person is definitely a master!" Ye Kai narrowed his eyes.
By now, he could somewhat discern a person's general strength; it was a rather mystical feeling, yet very accurate.
"Hey! Why is that other guy from Five searching frantically in all directions instead of looking for that village in the distance?"
"Where did all these masters come from!? Could it be..."
Ye Kai furrowed his brow and murmured instinctively, "Could it be that the Evil Dragon isn't just a code name for one person, but represents a group? If this Evil Dragon isn't a twin, then he must be a clone cultivated by some major force or a Gene Warrior!!!"
After pondering for a moment, he decided to bypass this group and quietly make his way around to the mountains behind the village.
Half an hour later, Ye Kai finally arrived at a place he had loved for a long time.
It was nestled between mountains and water, with two large mountains in the distance forming a massive archway. A river about ten meters wide flowed slowly through here; although the banks weren't steep, ordinary people wouldn't dare to venture down.
Most importantly, near a bend in the river was a stone cave—a place Ye Kai had stumbled upon long ago.
At that time, he had come here for a self-driving trip with a few friends, fishing and having fun when he stumbled upon it. It had been almost five or six years since then.
"Just as I thought, it's here!"
Ye Kai quietly descended about ten meters, and just three meters from the riverbank, he found a large cave entrance concealed by a dense thicket.
Moreover, there was a stone blocking the entrance, making it nearly impossible to see from a distance.
After cautiously looking around and confirming that no one was watching, he slipped inside.
He took out a powerful flashlight and shone it around, discovering that the cave was slightly damp and covered in moss. This made him a bit wary; after all, such places often harbored venomous snakes.
After walking for about twenty meters, it seemed like there was a large hall inside. He had been too frightened to enter last time, but this time he could take the opportunity to rest and make it his secret base!
As he recalled this, he suddenly heard the System prompt that the Bio Warriors had assembled.
Ye Kai was taken aback for a moment, then exhaled as if relieved. He waved his hand to bring Ye Yi and Ye Er out of the System Space. "You two, one in front and one behind. Let's explore this cave properly. We can set up our base here."
As soon as they emerged into the dim surroundings, the two of them showed no hesitation upon hearing his words; they immediately saluted and got to work.
At this point, Ye Kai didn't worry anymore. He knew very well the capabilities of Ye Yi and Ye Er; no venomous snakes or insects could harm them at all.
