Huff... Huff...
Not far from the Motel, with his enhanced hearing, Ye Kai clearly heard a strange panting sound.
It was reminiscent of a large dog he once owned, panting heavily after running for a while, its tongue lolling out.
Moreover, from the dimly lit entrance, a cold air was continuously emanating outward. Within just a few seconds, it formed a peculiar thin mist that greatly obstructed visibility, leaving only a vague outline discernible.
"Screech!!!"
A sudden screech of brakes echoed.
"Amy, that damned Otherworldly creature is hiding in there? You better keep your wits about you; if it escapes, we’ll be in big trouble! Of course, I really don’t want to see our lovely Amy come to any harm. I’m known to be quite the gentleman; let me help you this time," shouted a bald Black man as he opened the car door.
"Otherworldly?"
Ye Kai crossed his arms and smirked slightly, muttering to himself, "It seems this world is indeed interesting. In three hours, the Multifunctional Detector will cover thousands of kilometers. I can’t wait to see what powerful creatures exist in this world."
"Hey, buddy, who are you? Haven't you heard of me, Oni? Are you trying to steal our business?"
Oni was a robust figure, at least twice as muscular as Ye Kai. He wore a white shirt and brown trousers; if not for the object he held in his hand, he could easily pass for a corporate elite.
Unfortunately, the one-centimeter-long wooden staff he carried made him look rather out of place.
"Hey, buddy, are you ignoring me? Can't you see the great Demon Hunter Oni standing here? Are you trying to provoke me?"
Seeing the imposing face so close to him, Ye Kai took a step back with mild disdain. The guy's saliva nearly splattered on him; it was just too disgusting.
"Oh my God, I know, I know, you are White Face, Amy's latest partner, right? I knew it, I knew it! Oh my omnipotent God, can't you have a little pity for the single Oni who has been alone for over a decade? He is so perfect, the most gentlemanly among men, he is..."
"Bang!"
Ye Kai suddenly felt it was better to step back a bit. Looking at the huge gun barrel that nearly got shoved into the chatterbox's mouth, and then glancing at Amy, who was still puffing clouds of smoke from her massive pipe, he couldn't help but think how 'out of place' this scene was!
"Oh, alright, alright, my dear My Dear Captain, how should we deal with the guys inside? Should we come up with a battle plan?" Oni raised his hands high, swallowing hard as the smile on his face nearly froze.
He knew how formidable his Beautiful Captain was, and besides, he couldn't take on the two of them.
"Crack! Crack!"
A series of crunching sounds echoed from the Motel, accompanied by low growls from beasts. These strange noises made Ye Kai feel like a pack of wild animals was feasting and occasionally letting out intimidating growls.
Beside him, Amy exhaled two puffs of thick smoke and suddenly her expression turned grim. "Oni, get ready to act. Use the Holy Rune." Her eyes darted back and forth as if she were contemplating strategies.
"Oh God! Amy, are you serious? Damn it, that bastard Otherworldly is truly despicable. It seems poor Oni is going to go bankrupt again... heh heh..."
Despite his incessant chatter, Ye Kai could sense the deep killing intent radiating from the man and woman before him.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
A sudden series of shattering glass sounds erupted. Ye Kai hadn't expected that there were others lying in ambush nearby who had also used smoke bombs.
"Attack!" Amy shouted.
“Lord God, we have discovered the Low-Level Fantasy Dimension Insectoid. The brains of the Insectoids contain the purest biological energy crystals. Each crystal within an Insectoid brain holds ten Standard Energy Units. Please make sure to collect as many as possible.”
Ye Kai slowly stepped back to the opposite side of the street, frowning as he looked at the Light Screen before him. “God, does every Insectoid brain contain a crystal?”
“Yes, Lord God.”
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” A fierce glint flashed in Ye Kai's eyes; he was now extremely sensitive to energy and could hardly resist this energy-hungry being.
At this point, he couldn’t care less about anything else. Summoning Ye Yi and Ye Er, he directly joined the fray.
“Everyone, get out of my way!”
Amy and Oni, still frowning, had no idea someone would suddenly intervene. Just as they turned to look, they were startled to see two men radiating a violent aura each grabbing hold of a car and hurling it forward with great force.
“Boom! Boom!”

Amy’s expression changed drastically. She stomped her foot in frustration and vanished in an instant. The spot where she had just stood exploded, creating a pit over a meter deep and several meters long as if struck by an enormous invisible cannon.
Meanwhile, the two Bald Men suddenly appeared in what had become a wrecked hotel!
“Damn it, Amy! Are these two your hired help? You idiot! The great Demon Hunter Oni almost met God himself!” Oni shouted in frustration as he lay sprawled on the ground several meters away, looking disheveled.
“Crack!”
"Boom!"
In just a few short seconds, the entire Motel vanished completely, leaving only two men standing in place, their bodies radiating a wild and violent aura.
"Damn it! Who are you?" Amy shouted, furious.
Just as she was about to lose her mind, Expression, already filled with rage, saw the orange-yellow glowing crystals in the hands of the two men. His facial muscles twisted violently, and a fierce, aggressive energy flickered in his eyes.
Without needing further explanation from anyone else, Amy understood that these two were definitely here for the Alien Brain Core. Like them, they were also Demon Hunters, and equally pitiful humans.
However, the fact that they were still alive proved that even if they were pitiful, they absolutely should not be stealing her prey. This was the most forbidden act among Demon Hunters.
"Amy? What should we do?"
Oni looked nervously at his Beautiful Captain. His staff was already planted into the ground, and he held his hands in a strange defensive posture.

"Are you provoking the entire Demon Hunter Guild?" Amy's pupils instantly turned pitch black, her body swelling as a low growl escaped her throat—one that only beasts could produce.
"Wow! Captain, have you gone mad? In your full state, you'll lose your sanity!!!" Oni exclaimed in shock.
At this moment, he couldn't care less about any internal conflicts; while such things were taboo within the Demon Hunter Guild, in a world this vast, such situations were not unheard of.
He was now most afraid of his adorable yet violent My Dear Captain entering Demon Hunter mode; if that happened, she would completely lose her rationality.
This time, he was genuinely scared.
"Eh! A cyborg?"
Ye Kai looked at the stunning woman who had just transformed into a ghastly figure in the blink of an eye. He couldn't help but frown, feeling disdainful. So this woman was also a cyborg.
"What a waste of that cheat-like body. If only those weapons could be played with, tsk tsk..."
"Bastard! I can’t believe I misjudged you! You damn little brat are also a Pureblood Demon Hunter!" Amy shouted angrily.

However, this ugly monster dared to insult him, so he had to teach her a lesson. He coldly said, "Ye Yi, get this female beast out of here. She's making too much noise."
