As soon as he stepped out, the bald man spotted Ye Kai, who was getting off the vehicle to grab the Life Crystal.
“Damn human invader!!!” he shouted, pointing at Ye Kai.
“Chirp! Roar!”
On his shoulder, Batman, along with the massive Lion Dog beside him, unleashed an invisible sound wave.
The sound waves spread out like a fan, aiming to envelop Ye Kai, who was trying to pull the Life Crystal into the System Space. The invisible waves crashed against the rocks like relentless tides, each wave higher than the last.
“Get over here, you bastard!”
Ye Kai's head throbbed painfully, not just from the invisible sound waves but also because, in that instant, the Life Crystal emitted a chillingly sharp vibration.
“Buzz!!!”
As soon as that terrifying vibration touched Ye Kai, he spat out a mouthful of blood. The moment his blood came into contact with the Azure Blood Clan Relic—the Life Crystal—the almost explosive wave transformed into a beam of light that drilled directly into his body.
In an instant, a sense of oppressive frustration surged within him. Ye Kai gritted his teeth against the headache and roared as he pulled the massive crystal into the System Space.
“All Rocket Launchers, fire now!!!”
Though everything before him was a blur, as if something were pressing down on his eyelids and obscuring his vision, Ye Kai still let out a furious shout.
At that moment, his ears and mind were filled with a continuous buzzing sound; he could hardly hear anything else. His heart raced faster and faster, and waves of nausea and frustration crashed against his consciousness.
Suddenly, he felt a surge of metallic taste in his throat, and with a gasp, he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.
“Boom Boom Boom!!!”
Except for Ye Yi and Ye Er, who were supporting Ye Kai from behind, everyone else unleashed their grenades and rocket launchers.
The explosions roared continuously.
The rocket launcher detonated near the bald man, sending shockwaves and searing flames scattering in all directions, engulfing everything within a zero-meter radius around him.
“Smack!”
Chunks of mangled flesh splattered like rain, falling all around them.
Exhausted to the core, Ye Kai felt as if he had no strength left. He struggled to swallow and signaled for everyone to come closer. Then, he pressed his hand firmly on Ye Yi's arm, and in an instant, they all vanished from the spot.

Slumped in the System Space, Ye Kai gasped for breath, his eyes dimmed. He was utterly drained, not wanting to move at all. He didn’t even notice that his body had begun to appear slightly withered.
Clearly, the internal distraction caused by the System had damaged his muscles and bones due to the sonic waves and the strange fluctuations from the Life Crystal.
But that wasn’t all.
At this moment, tiny red dots began to emerge beneath his skin, creating an unsettling sight. It was a phenomenon that indicated countless capillaries had ruptured.
Ye Kai leaned against the side of a dilapidated building in the space, feeling an unbearable sense of swelling both inside and out, especially in his head, as if someone were relentlessly hammering away with a chisel.
"Damn it, this is nothing like the scenes in the movies! When Andrew and the others activated Psychokinesis, it wasn't like this at all!"
Feeling an unprecedented surge of energy coursing through him, he desperately wanted to calm himself down, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find any relief.
"God, you idiot, hurry up and heal me!"
After hoarsely shouting that out, everything went dark before him. Suddenly, he felt no pain at all; his consciousness gradually blurred, and before he knew it, he had fallen into a deep sleep.
After more than ten hours, Ye Kai lay on a massive Surgical Table in the Biochemical Laboratory. He finally showed some signs of improvement; at least his once emaciated body and the broken capillaries that had covered him were no longer visible.
"Ugh!"
Ye Kai frowned and instinctively let out a groan. He felt as if his body had rusted over and was somewhat unresponsive.
Even though there was no longer any pain in his body, he still felt uncomfortable. The sensation was very strange—like soreness and numbness from stagnant energy or stiffness from sleeping in one position for too long.
He stretched out his hands and squeezed them slightly, only to realize that this time he had truly suffered a significant loss. His hands felt soft and weak, lacking even the strength to lift a bowl or chopsticks.
"I really took a huge hit this time, but at least I got the Life Crystal!" Ye Kai murmured softly while lying on the enormous Surgical Table.
He would never forget that feeling—the entire body's energy being violently shaken by sound waves, rolling and surging uncontrollably, leaving him dizzy and nauseous. It was truly infuriating!
Ever since he obtained the Divine System and became known as the Supreme Deity, especially upon arriving in this Dimension, he had always felt a sense of confidence stemming from the knowledge that he could simply retreat into the System Space if necessary.
Even after witnessing the terrifying light and heat of a nuclear explosion in the Biochemical Dimension, he had only felt a mix of shock and anger, but never doubted his ability to escape.
However, now, faced with an unknown Otherworldly creature that nearly inflicted severe injuries on him with just a glance, pushing him to the brink of organ failure, Ye Kai was truly doused with cold water.
Though he understood and had heard the divine warnings that this world was not as simple as it appeared, he still felt no fear or trepidation towards the Otherworldly beings in this Dimension.
It was precisely because he had the System Space at his disposal that he believed it would be difficult for anyone to harm him.
Especially after recently repelling two Demon Hunters and then killing a very powerful Otherworldly being, his confidence had swelled even more.
He never expected that this suddenly appearing Bald Man, with just a single roar—alongside the growl of a Batman and a Lion Dog—could inflict such serious injuries on him, nearly leading to his demise.
It was then that Ye Kai gained a deeper understanding of the high-level combat power within this world.
"A mere Giant Bat and a Lion Dog shouldn't be considered formidable in this Dimension, but that Bald Man is undoubtedly among the top tier in this world!" he speculated while listening to the divine voice continuously informing him about his nearly healed injuries.
At present, his internal organs had mostly recovered, and the internal bleeding had been cleared. However, he was in no condition to engage in combat with anyone, as he might struggle against even a teenager.
The healing process would likely take some time, but this state of weakness would gradually improve within a day or two at most.
Although Ye Kai possessed twice the physical resilience of an average adult, facing attacks involving sound waves and subsonic frequencies left him with virtually no ability to retaliate.
Although it was also related to his lack of focus and the intense resistance against the fluctuations of the Life Crystal, he couldn't help but feel that the sound wave attacks and infrasound attacks were truly terrifying.
After resting for a while, Ye Kai knew that this was a critical moment, as the deity was working tirelessly to unravel all the secrets contained within the Life Crystal.

"Yes, Lord God. A type of Superpower Gene Code has been activated within you. Prompt: Do you authorize the System to enhance and optimize this Superpower Gene Code?"
"Wait, don't rush to optimize anything just yet."
After being stunned for several dozen seconds, Ye Kai finally regained his composure and hurriedly asked, "God, can you check what Ability I have? What exactly is this superpower?"
"According to a deep genetic scan by the System, the Superpower Gene Code activated within you, Lord God, belongs to..."
