"Finally, they're all gone!"
It had been a full seven days since Ye Kai had been trapped in the System Space.
He couldn't understand why that ferocious Bald Man was so fixated on guarding this place. Even if the Life Crystal was a relic of the Azure Blood Clan and possessed extraordinary properties, why did he insist that Ye Kai hadn't left and continued to stay here?
Could it be that he had some special means to track his presence?
Though he found it puzzling, after seven days of reflection, Ye Kai had gained a solid understanding of his Ability. With the analytical power granted by the divine, he could now manipulate it with ease.
As time passed, Ye Kai's Ability began to grow stronger, much like the three protagonists in "Powers Unleashed."
Not only did he train his endurance using the many ruined structures within the space, but he also successfully learned to fly by the seventh morning.
However, while flying was impressive, Ye Kai placed greater emphasis on telekinetic barriers—using his mind to create a protective field around his body.
While the ability to fly could be useful for a quick escape in critical moments, it wouldn't guarantee safety against high-tech threats like super electromagnetic cannons or even missiles. Just imagine if someone launched a missile at him; he would likely be done for!
Moreover, as a Lord God, Ye Kai couldn't always think of fleeing whenever danger arose.
So aside from mobility, when it came to personal safety, while telekinetic flight was indeed powerful and cool, the defensive capabilities of telekinetic barriers were of utmost importance.
"God, how's your research on the Life Crystal coming along?" After resting for a while, Ye Kai suddenly asked.
"Lord God, the factors that triggered superpowers within the Life Crystal have completely vanished. It no longer possesses the special properties to induce superpowers."
What?
Hearing this, Ye Kai was taken aback. He immediately asked, "If this Life Crystal no longer has the ability to induce superpowers, what use does it have?"
He certainly didn't want something he risked his life to obtain to turn into worthless junk!
"The Life Crystal still contains a vast amount of energy, fully meeting the current needs. Special note: The energy within this Life Crystal is renewable; as long as it is not consumed in one large gulp, it can continuously generate energy."
"Wait! This doesn't make sense."
Ye Kai furrowed his brow. Even though he didn't understand advanced technology, he knew about the law of conservation of energy. If it could continuously produce energy, then how did that energy get into it? It couldn't just appear out of nowhere, could it?
There must be some medium involved, or it must absorb some special substance or energy for conversion, right?
Once he posed this question, Ye Kai received another astonishing answer.
"Lord God, the System currently cannot accurately determine which type of super energy crystal the Life Crystal belongs to, but it can indeed continuously generate energy. The System advises you not to consume it all at once."
Hearing this suggestion, Ye Kai felt a wave of frustration. Who was it that lived for energy, anyway?
However, he couldn't be bothered to argue with this fool. He was now eager to get out; if he weren't worried about someone waiting outside, he would have left long ago.
Upon reappearing in the original location and gazing at the vast starry sky, he took a deep breath. To be honest, everything in the System Space was abundant; living there for ten or eight years would be no problem.
But it was just too monotonous inside. Moreover, he was itching to experiment with his Ability.
This time, however, he was fully armed.
The originally golden armor had transformed into a dark golden hue, while the other Bio Warriors remained unchanged in their Bronze color.
There were six Bio Warriors, plus the two captains Ye Yi and Ye Er, who had activated Psychokinesis. He was quite satisfied with this setup. However, the newly birthed eighteen Bio Warriors still lacked armor and only had bulletproof vests.
"Whoosh!"
With a leap, Ye Kai and the Bio Warriors easily jumped onto the low slope. But it was only upon landing that he noticed the area had already been completely transformed.
The ground was pockmarked with craters and filled with an acrid smell of gunpowder. He could even see some dried bloodstains—some black-red, others blue and dark green.
Furrowing his brow, Ye Kai instructed the deity to selectively display everything in the vicinity on the Light Screen, then chose a direction and began to run forward. However, as he continued, his frown deepened even further.
Something felt off.
It was far too quiet here, so quiet that it was terrifying—there wasn't a sound to be heard.
It was around seven or eight in the evening; it shouldn't be this silent!
But as he pressed on, he noticed more and more signs of battle along the way, along with some chunks of flesh. Though they were only small pieces, they still made his pupils constrict.
"God, could it be that Otherworldly beings and Demon Hunters are fighting here in the Seven?" Ye Kai's mind became alert.
Just then, an electronic synthesized voice echoed in his mind. "Lord God, there has been a clash between Bluebloods and other Otherworldly beings as well as Demon Hunters here!"
"A three-way battle?"
"Wait, someone is there?"
Suddenly, a glint flashed in Ye Kai's eyes as he dashed toward the location indicated by the Multifunctional Detector without hesitation.
"Bang!"
Just as he approached an abandoned factory and had yet to enter, he heard a gunshot ring out beside him. He tilted his head slightly, and a silver bullet whizzed past his ear.
Though the bullet wasn't aimed at him, it still soured his mood.
"Rune Bullet?!"
Ye Kai narrowed his eyes slightly. "Let's go check out what happened over there!"
With Psychokinesis at his disposal, he made no sound as he stealthily approached a corner of the abandoned factory and peered inside through a broken window.
"Aining, give it up. You have no chance left..."
Tartus took a deep breath, his face pale as he raised the two-meter-long staff engraved with Holy Runes. He stepped forward slowly, each movement deliberate and cautious.
Though he was one of the few master-level experts in the Demon Hunter Guild, facing this so-called strongest being among the Bluebloods made him wary.
Americans generally revered individual heroism. Although Tartus had only acted after his opponent was already severely injured, and his actions could hardly be deemed heroic, the others standing behind him tacitly accepted it.
They had planned for this moment for far too long. Just when victory seemed within reach, they never expected that the Life Crystal would vanish.
Nevertheless, this had attracted many Otherworldly beings lurking among humans, including over a dozen monsters that had lived for hundreds of years.
The Bald Giant Aining before him was one of them, and he was the most powerful Blueblood on Earth. If they could capture him or obtain his genes, then...
At this thought, Tartus's pale face flushed with a sudden rush of color. Yet he remained uneasy and reminded everyone, "Stay alert! This Aining is one of the last Blueblood Elders on Earth and the strongest among them. We cannot let him escape!"
"Hmph, escape? Where could I possibly go? I believe your people have surrounded the entire town by now!"
Aining's face was ashen, his body riddled with fine wounds from which blue blood seeped continuously. He let out a bitter laugh and turned to say something more.
At that moment, a loud crash echoed as the factory roof suddenly broke open, and a massive creature, four to five meters tall, descended from above, shaking the ground around it.
