At this moment, Ye Kai was in a remarkably good mood, even humming an unknown tune.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Ye Kai raised an eyebrow and asked.
Hook Waters, who had been leading the way, immediately replied, "Yes, Boss. Emily Hu lives here."
He had already seen his colleagues around him: one was a powerful assassin and mercenary, Mover Liu Yi, and the other was Teresa Stowe, a well-known Repairer in the Hong Kong superpower community.

Emily hesitated; she wasn't sure what this group wanted from her, which instinctively made her want to refuse them entry.
But in an instant, she abandoned that thought because none of these people seemed easy to deal with. Her own skills and the two handguns hidden beneath the table didn't provide her with much sense of security.
After all, each one of them was a superpowered being!
Moreover, she wasn't known for her combat prowess; her strengths lay in locating people and gathering intelligence.
No matter who it was, as long as she had something they had used, she could peer into their whereabouts through that unique Energy Fluctuation and learn about their experiences!
Seeing Emily's reluctant and worried expression as she turned to open the door, Ye Kai shrugged and pulled Cassie Holmes along with him.

Ye Kai's eyes darted around; the room was indeed spacious enough to comfortably accommodate ten more people without feeling crowded.
"Emily, we would like to ask for your help."
Nick placed the bead that Cassie Holmes had given him on the table and said, "We need a bead just like this one. It can guide us to the girl who is being hunted by the organization..."

Emily sighed; she knew that no matter where she hid or how hard she tried, she couldn't escape the so-called 'underworld.' With a resigned expression, she sat back down in her chair and asked, "Are you all part of the organization?"
