“Uncle Jon, Uncle Jon, are there really werewolves in this world?” Charles tried to act like an adult, frowning as he took a sip of Clear Tea and asked.
“Yeah, yeah! Uncle Jon, what about vampires?” Raven chimed in eagerly.
With Ye Kai's arrival, the upper class of this world had begun to embrace tea, after all, it was one of Sir John's favorite drinks, the legendary warrior of the military.
So before anyone could personally promote it, the trend of drinking tea had already become the latest indulgence among the nobles.
However, not everyone would enjoy it upon their first sip, especially these two kids in front of him.
Amused by their expressions of “I’m an adult, don’t fool me,” Ye Kai nodded and said, “Of course, this world has werewolves and vampires.”
“Ah!!!”
At that moment, Brian and his wife Sharon gasped in surprise but quickly stopped themselves from asking further questions under the disapproving glares of the two children.
“Have you ever seen a werewolf, Uncle Jon?”
Raven blinked her big eyes and asked brightly, “Mom reads me fairy tales every night, but I feel like they might be real. Why has no one ever seen them?”
Seeing the two kids perk up with nervous anticipation, Ye Kai cleared his throat twice and put on a serious expression. He began in a deep voice, “A long, long time ago, there was a village where everyone lived happily. But then one day, disaster struck…”
“No one knew why a plague broke out in this remote village, nor did anyone understand how to cure it. Time passed without any answers…”
Ye Kai had been bored for too long with nothing to do, so he decided to adapt the beginning of a story from Night Transmission slightly and tell it to the group.
He even secretly wove in some tales about deities into the narrative, creating a unique story with a vast system that carried a slightly dark tone.
He spoke for nearly two hours until he felt his throat getting dry.
However, he found it impossible to stop, not only because the two children were urging him to continue, but also because the two adults, along with the male and female butlers of Xavier Mansion, and even the servants, had gathered around to listen.
Ye Kai rolled his eyes in frustration, thinking to himself that he was truly bored out of his mind. Why did he have to tell this story?
Wasn't this just looking for trouble?
He felt like slapping himself!
“Ahem!”
Ye Kai cleared his throat and clapped his hands helplessly. “This story is going to be very long; I can't finish it in just a couple of minutes. Besides, this is only a part of the story, just a part. I'll find time later to tell you more.”
At this point, Brian also felt a bit awkward. Seeing that it was already noon, he quickly dismissed everyone and instructed them to prepare lunch; otherwise, everyone would be starving.
“Uncle Jon, have you ever seen a werewolf?” Charles asked as he tugged at Ye Kai's hand, looking up at him.
“Of course! Not only have I seen werewolves, but also vampires, and even wizards, witches, and elves.”
Ye Kai playfully pinched Charles's cheek and said with a smile, “In this world, there are not only deities but also otherworldly beings. Of course, our world has many remarkable 'humans' too!”
Hearing this, Charles quickly dodged Ye Kai's hand that was pinching his cheek. He instinctively glanced at Raven, whose eyes were sparkling with excitement. After hesitating for a moment, he asked again, “So Uncle Jon, have you seen such people?”
After signaling to Brian and his wife Sharon, who both shook their heads with amused smiles as they got up to leave, Ye Kai finally revealed a 'sincere' smile and looked at the two kids. “Yes! For example, Captain America, Steve Rogers, and those guys from the Howling Assault Team.”
“Oh!”
As soon as Charles and Raven heard this, they immediately deflated, sounding quite disappointed.
Looking at the two faces that showed no attempt to hide their disappointment, Ye Kai's Dual Eyes suddenly swelled slightly. With a thought, the two little ones began to slowly float off the ground.
"Ah!"
"Wow!"
They were just two little ones weighing less than ten pounds combined, so he didn't exert much effort at all.
However, in the eyes of these two, it held a different significance; it was incredibly cool.
"Wow, Uncle Jon, how did you do that? Why can't I?"
"Uncle Jon, are you like us?"
"Uncle Jon, can you fly too?"
"Uncle Jon, can Captain America fly as well?"

To be honest, while Ye Kai didn't dislike children—especially cute ones—he was starting to feel a bit of a headache looking at these two in front of him.
Charles Xavier, the future leader of the X-Men and the most powerful telepath, was now just full of excitement, asking questions left and right.
Mystique, Raven—the enchanting beauty who would undergo countless transformations in the future—was currently busy sharing her favorite apple pie with Ye Kai.
Indeed, they would all become formidable mutants in the future.
But after all, this was the 'future', and they were still just kids in their early teens. At this age, children could be quite a headache.
Of course, as children grew older, they became even more troublesome, especially during their rebellious teenage years.
Under the constant calls of "Uncle Jon" and "War God Uncle," Ye Kai became increasingly familiar with these two guys. In fact, many of their hidden secrets began to be shared with him.
No wonder he was Brian's child; his mind was incredibly sharp, to the point that it hardly seemed like the level of intelligence one would expect from a child.
Watching the two of them during lunch, although they tried hard to appear calm, it was clear they were completely distracted. Ye Kai shrugged helplessly at Brian and his wife.
In just a few hours, Ye Kai had become quite familiar with this family and understood why Sharon was so excited.
Her parents, Blair Xavier's in-laws, had avoided death thanks to the military operation he planned. Moreover, Brian often mentioned his 'Knowledgeable' nature.
As a result, this family regarded him as the smartest and most knowledgeable person around.
Consequently, the entire household, including servants and gardeners, had become Ye Kai's most loyal fans.
After collecting the genetic samples from the two individuals, Ye Kai and Brian went to the study. After closing the door and chatting casually for a while, they turned to discuss the pressing matters at hand.
"Ye, almost all of your military plans have perfectly achieved their final goals. Technically, you possess abilities that are beyond our reach. Therefore, your proposal will definitely be submitted to the President in a very short time."
