"Bang!"
As the communication link request was connected, an astonishing scene unfolded.
When Ye Kai opened the virtual projection again, he witnessed that guy named Hans directly shoot the co-pilot teammate, blowing his head off and splattering blood everywhere.
"Dear sir, everything that just happened was this person's private action. Please do not act impulsively. I, Representative Wisconsin Five-Star General, request your assistance!" Hans felt Ye Kai's sharp gaze piercing through him like a knife as soon as he noticed it.
Swallowing hard, he obediently informed the other two teammates in the Armed Helicopters to abandon resistance.
To be able to unhesitatingly blow off his teammate's head and shift all responsibility cleanly was enough to make Ye Kai squint his eyes, thinking to himself: 'This guy is ruthless!'
"You are the last armed forces of Wisconsin?"
"Yes."
"State your intentions, soldier."
"We come seeking help with goodwill, dear sir. Humanity is facing an existential crisis. If we do not remedy this soon, humanity will face extinction. Therefore, we implore you to lend a hand. Please."
Ye Kai scrutinized Hans carefully; the other man's composed demeanor piqued his curiosity. At the same time, he was astonished by Hans's eloquent words, as if nothing had just happened.
It was known that if it were anyone else facing Hope's armed forces, they might be stuttering or even unable to speak at all. Yet here was Hans, speaking logically and graciously, evoking no feelings of disgust.
Initially considering blowing up the entire city if the other party remained uncooperative, Ye Kai wore a look of 'what a pity for such a thrilling opportunity' and casually said, "Let one person go back to deliver a message: surrender immediately, or I will consider you prepared for war against the Star God Empire."
"...Yes, yes, dear sir."
Cold sweat dripped down layer after layer from Hans's body as he swallowed hard. He quickly signaled for the last Armed Helicopter to return with news while he took another one and landed directly on the rooftop of the shopping center.
The alien from the Star God Empire before him appeared calm, but the terrifying aura of impending storm was truly astonishing. He would bet that if General Andy refused to surrender, this world would be left without hope.
Suddenly, Ye Kai smiled.
In the past, he wouldn't have understood the feeling of possessing absolute power, of being above all. This sensation was truly marvelous, an ultimate enjoyment that every man dreams of.
Unlike the feeling during a passionate climax, this was a brand new experience, as if he could cover everything with one hand, an exhilarating sense of omnipotence that instantly made him feel completely refreshed.
Now, he squinted his eyes in enjoyment, rubbing his cheek against Alice No. 1 in his arms.
At the same time Ye Kai reveled in this afterglow, Hans and a dozen teammates were being escorted one by one to a temporary prison. Meanwhile, inside the captain's cabin, Ice Lancer had already gathered together and started arguing using special means.
"Your Highness, Galastad absolutely cannot agree to this. You are the last royal Bloodline of Ice Lancer; as your knight, I will never allow you to make such a great sacrifice!"
"Galastad Ammer, I now command you in my capacity as the King of Ice Lancer. For the sake of our people and the continuation of our Bloodline, you must agree."
Cecilia's gaze was resolute. She understood that her people could not wait much longer; even this world would be a thousand times better than the current Ice Lancer.
She turned her head, took a deep breath again, and spoke with utmost sincerity: "Mr. Alex, the future of Ice Lancer depends on you."
Galastad's eyes reddened as he clenched his fists tightly. He didn't even notice that his nails had already pierced into his palm, blood dripping slowly down.

Without warning, a beam of light shot up from Galastad, startling Ye Kai, who was preparing to clear the Undead in the city beneath him.

In the spacious captain's room, several Bio Warriors armed with makeshift energy guns had already appeared, their weapons trained on the group of Ice Lancers.

Ye Kai waved away the Bio Warriors, a hint of curiosity on his face as he looked at Galastad and asked the others, "Has this guy had some sort of epiphany and become one of those righteous knights with a belief?"
"Yes, esteemed warrior!"
Cecilia's eyes sparkled with excitement as she gave a slight bow and explained, "Galastad Ammer has become a true knight, a Silver Knight who has grasped the true essence of knighthood."
Silver Knight?
Does that mean there’s a Golden Knight above him?
Could it be that there’s even an Eternal Knight to come?
