Ye Kai gazed intently at the faint blush creeping up Cecilia's smooth, elegant neck, inching its way over her earlobe and cheek, finally locking onto her slightly shy yet stubborn blue eyes.
Suddenly, he snapped back to reality and smiled.
It turned out that his invasive gaze had made her uneasy. However, watching her gently bite her lower lip was undeniably tempting.
After taking another deep look at those irresistibly alluring lips, Ye Kai suppressed the heat rising within him, licking his dry lips as he said in a gravelly voice, "We'll be there soon, so don't worry too much."
"Mm!"
Cecilia felt a shiver run through her delicate frame upon hearing his slightly hoarse yet magnetic voice. She forced herself to nod calmly.
A few hours later.
Hope had arrived at a gorge surrounded by towering peaks on all sides, where goose-feather snowflakes floated down, creating an indescribably beautiful scene against the backdrop of the pristine white mountains.

Ye Kai raised an eyebrow as he looked at the results detected by Hope. He was genuinely surprised to find that between the two peaks ahead lay a massive iron chain connecting them, shimmering with mysterious runes.

The drumbeats grew louder and more overwhelming, resonating like echoes from ancient times, calming the heart involuntarily.
Ye Kai could hardly contain his excitement, especially at the thought of seeing the so-called Frozen Castle. He was increasingly curious about what kind of powerful beings resided in this last bastion of humanity in the world.
Even if this place was remote and sparsely populated, it surely wasn't devoid of some incredibly powerful magical beasts!
How did they manage to hold their ground and not be completely consumed?
As he continued to glance around at the scenery, Cecilia's staff suddenly halted, and the blue crystal atop it emitted a bright light.
She pointed to a pitch-black entrance that had abruptly appeared ahead. "That entrance is the last barrier of the Frozen Castle. As long as we enter directly, we can reach the final gathering place of humanity in this world. My people are right here!"
At that moment, Alex also stepped forward slowly, respectfully bowing to Ye Kai and Cecilia. He spoke, "Lord God, Denric has opened the gate, but to guard against other dangers, please be aware of threats from other directions."
Ye Kai patted his shoulder and smiled. "Don't worry; I have already grasped everything happening within Scope and Thousands of Corpses. What you should focus on now is how to move everyone to another world. After all, this is your homeland, your roots. I believe not everyone is willing to leave."

As he marveled quietly, a flash of light suddenly appeared before the grand hall ahead. A man sitting atop a ten-meter-high giant White Lion emerged, looking at him with curiosity. Ye Kai felt an indescribable sense of grandeur and majesty!
Though it was just a glance, he was certain that this man possessed immense power.
Denric looked curiously at the massive steel fortress, feeling a growing sense of intrigue. Just as he was about to step forward, an aged hand suddenly landed on his shoulder, followed by a familiar voice.
"Denric! Your Highness and Mr. Alex have returned!"
"Roar!"
At that moment, the enormous pure White Lion opened its mouth and let out a deep yet piercing roar.
"Howl!!!"
With that roar from the white Giant Lion, the tranquility of the area was instantly shattered as countless wolf howls and tiger roars echoed around.
Ye Kai turned his head left and right and noticed that both Alex and Cecilia were visibly excited, their bodies trembling slightly. It was clear that neither of them was at peace in this moment.
Whether searching for a suitable world for survival or returning home to where Ice Lanster Bloodline thrived, they had experienced far too much in just these two or three hours.
