Major Ted immediately shouted, "Report what happened right now! Why was the alarm sounded?"
With his roar, a guard rushed out of the command room to investigate the situation.
"General... General..."
At that moment, chaos erupted outside, and various exclamations grew louder.
"Lieutenant Joy, what is the situation? Report immediately!" General Ted was furious; even if a Tyrannosaurus Rex were attacking, this level of negligence was unacceptable.
"General... outside... there are aliens!" Lieutenant Joy, dressed in traditional camouflage combat gear, trembled in fear, her face pale and her speech stuttering.
"Aliens? Are you all insane? In this primitive ecological environment, it's impossible for any high-tech species to exist. Even humans might not survive here; how could there be aliens, you fool?" General Ted shouted in rage, grabbing Joy by the collar and spitting as he spoke.
At that moment,
"You foolish mortals dare to invade my world while I am away. Do you not know how to spell 'death'?"
Major Ted was stunned.
Lieutenant Joy was dumbfounded.
Meanwhile, all the soldiers in the camp gasped in shock as they stared at the nearly hundred-meter-high three-dimensional projection in the sky.
"Aliens... children?"
"Loli?"
"Are all aliens this small?"
Major Ted pushed Lieutenant Joy aside and quickly ran outside the tent. The scene before him made his heart race uncontrollably.
Five enormous battleships loomed overhead, casting shadows that blotted out the sun. The nearly hundred-meter-high three-dimensional projections sent chills down his spine.
Perhaps he had truly come to the wrong place this time!
These damn staff officers, these damn scientists—what nonsense theories were they spouting? This was nothing more than an undeveloped primitive world, almost equivalent to the Jurassic Era.
Jurassic Era, my foot!
Was there such a colossal and terrifying spaceship in the Jurassic Era?
Did the Jurassic Era have instruments capable of producing such massive three-dimensional projections?
Damn it, Olyxet!!!
Yet no matter how furious he felt, it couldn't change the fact that aliens were right above him. Even if this alien looked a bit… well, like a child, it was still an alien, wasn't it?
With such a gigantic spaceship, it would be better if it were an adult; what if it really was a child…
"Gulp!!!"
General Ted swallowed hard, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.
Children could be the most willful!
Was he really going to die in this damned primitive world?
"Hey, you bunch of worthless fools! Didn't you hear what I said?" She shouted in anger, shaking her chubby fist.
But she didn't realize that what should have been an imposing declaration that would undoubtedly provoke rage instead came out in her childish voice, which only served to amuse the soldiers around her.
If it weren't for the pressure of facing such an alien spaceship looming overhead, they might have actually laughed!
It wasn't that these soldiers lacked military training; anyone seeing those five colossal ships, nearly a kilometer long and over three hundred meters wide, would feel utterly disheartened about any chance of resistance.
Especially with the countless eerie blue lights glowing on those massive vessels. In their estimation, not even tank shells or nuclear bombs would be of any use against them.
After all, in America, whenever stories or movies about aliens are mentioned, although most end with humanity victorious and a national hero saving the day, there are still plenty of scenarios where nuclear explosions fail to even scratch the surface of an alien ship.
They had a sense of heroism and were a nation that promoted individual heroism, but they weren't foolish; they knew when to act appropriately.
At that moment, a hand suddenly appeared in the massive three-dimensional projection, effortlessly pulling back the sulky-looking girl.
Then the screen flickered, and Ye Kai appeared: "I don't care who you are or what you're doing here; right now, you are all captured."
"And by the way, I'm preparing to invade your world. Perhaps I could launch a few Photon Torpedoes or Quantum Torpedoes; after all, it's been a while since I've played like this. I hope your world has decent defensive shields."
Watching the man on the screen resting his chin on one hand while cradling the sulky girl in the other, and hearing his casual tone as if discussing something trivial next door, nearly everyone was terrified.
Wait, did he just say something?
Children can be quite willful?
What the hell!
Is this guy some kind of world-destroying demon?
Is it really that exaggerated?
We just arrived here for a couple of minutes! We haven't even caught a few dinosaurs yet!
What are you doing, throwing around something that sounds terrifying like a 'Photon Torpedo'? Just to hear a bang?
Isn't that a bit insane?
“Boom Boom Boom!”
A series of explosive sounds echoed through the air, and thousands of officers widened their eyes in shock as they watched massive trees, each at least a hundred meters tall, topple to the sides.
“Roar!!!”
As the last few giant trees fell, the group finally got a clear look at what was causing this earthquake-like effect, but the moment they saw it, they all sat down in disbelief.
General Ted finally reacted, shouting in panic, “W-what is that?” He had seen everything clearly, but the scene before him was so unbelievable that he instinctively refused to acknowledge it.
“A-a whole bunch of creatures from the Phantom World?!” Lieutenant Joy had already been scared out of his wits and sat down on the ground. However, due to the psychological trauma inflicted by years of pressure from superiors, he still instinctively responded.
His dry voice sounded like someone calling out in a vast desert for three nights straight, and his bloodshot eyes revealed the shock he felt deep inside.
What on earth is this world?
Are there ten-meter-tall pure White Lions?
Are there seven or eight-meter-tall giant gorillas?
Are there groups of upright white werewolves?
And what about those knights in Silver Armor riding horned white horses?
Major Ted was on the verge of collapse. Seeing so many things that only appeared in legends, he couldn't help but question the notion of fighting spirit. Just look at those five iron fortresses!
How many more of these things did they have?
Even the creatures before him were not something ordinary humans could contend with, right?
That towering tree, over a hundred meters high, would require at least ten people to embrace it, yet these beings from stories effortlessly toppled it!
What should he do?
Major Ted was nearly breaking down!
If these aliens really were launching an invasion of Earth, could they withstand it with their current technology?
Superheroes?
Don't make him laugh. If there were truly superheroes in this world, they would be 'man-made'!
All that remained in his mind was a single thought.
That was, this was bad...
