“Whoosh!!!”
Ye Kai was shaking his head in frustration when he suddenly noticed an arrow thud into a large tree not far from him.
A grayish-white snake was pinned to the trunk, still writhing and hissing.
“Protect the Young Master!”
The sound of swords being drawn echoed as several guards quickly formed a circle around their Young Master. Although they had no idea how this man had appeared, as his protectors, they could not afford to be careless.
Seeing the tense and aggressive demeanor of the guards, Ye Kai pouted in annoyance. Just as he was about to ask where he was, he suddenly noticed that the grayish-white snake had only one eye.
His curiosity piqued, he ignored the tension around him and slowly approached the snake, preparing to pick it up.
“Be careful, it’s not dead yet!” Allen couldn’t help but remind him.
Though he didn’t know how this person had appeared either, he sensed that there wasn’t much malice behind it—at least, he hadn’t detected any.
Ye Kai glanced back at the rather handsome young man but paid him no mind. He reached out and picked up the snake. After inspecting it for a moment, he realized that this species did not meet the requirements for his task.
Feeling somewhat disheartened, he tossed it aside and frowned in thought.
“Sir, are you facing some kind of trouble?” Allen asked curiously. He had been reborn in this world for a short time but was already familiar with the local situation.
Given the man’s attire, it was impossible for him to be without guards.
Most importantly, he had black hair and black eyes.
Ye Kai raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "You're still here?"
Allen replied, somewhat dejected, "You didn't hear anything I said, did you?"

Ye Yi and Ye Er burst in like two gusts of wild wind, scattering grass and debris as they came to a sudden halt, dropping a massive brown bear with a thud.
Ye Kai brushed the grass off his face and looked down at the debris on his clothes. With a dark expression and a gloomy tone, he said, "Should I reward you two for this?"
Galastad's expression changed slightly as he quickly stepped aside to join the vigilant guards, asking them something in hushed tones.
"Uh!"
Only then did Ye Yi and Ye Er realize how disheveled their young master looked, and they immediately panicked.

After a moment of shock, Allen glanced again at the creature that was several times larger than an ordinary brown bear and then at the furious figure that resembled his 'kin.' Suddenly, he felt inexplicably relaxed.
He thought that this creature resembling his kin was quite interesting.
Of course, his subordinates were incredibly powerful, at least three times stronger than the knights under his father's command.

Upon hearing this title, Ye Kai felt as if the world had collapsed around him!
Could it be that he was really this old?
