“Boom!!!”
Ye Kai's dark hair flew behind him as the Demonic Aura Field activated instantly. With a sudden tremor of his arms, countless shadowy palms erupted forth, their strikes resonating with explosive force, tearing everything within twenty meters of Scope to shreds.
The Golden Robe Daoist and the Blood Robed Monk both let out furious roars. The blood-soaked Monk, his hands dripping with crimson fury, bellowed, “You wicked scoundrel! To use the Yin Kui Sect's Demonic Aura Field, you truly harbor malicious intentions. You dare call yourself a Martial Arts True Immortal? I see you are the real demon here; you deserve to die!!!”
The others furrowed their brows even tighter, their hearts filled with doubt. “Could it be that this ‘Martial Arts True Immortal’ is merely a front put forth by the Yin Kui Sect?”
They were well aware that the Yin Kui Sect was the most powerful faction within the demonic sects, which only fueled their suspicion regarding Ye Kai's true identity.
“Fools! If that's the case, let me show you some of the other martial arts from This Sect's own Five Elements Return to the Void Classic, so that when the Monk loses, he won't blame it on someone else's superior skills,” Ye Kai said calmly.
Before his words had fully settled, he vanished in a flash, appearing like a specter before the Blood Robed Monk, striking down with a powerful palm.
Even though the Blood Butcher Monk and his companions had prepared for an attack, they were still taken aback.
Fortunately, despite their surprise, they remained composed. As their monk robes billowed, their palms turned as red as molten iron and swelled several times in an instant before crashing down.
“Clang!”
Transforming his palm into a finger, Ye Kai pointed out with a sound like metal striking metal. He let out a strange laugh as he was sent flying backward but quickly spun around to unleash another palm strike.
In this back-and-forth exchange, it seemed as if he had rehearsed this thousands of times; there were no gaps or pauses.
“Clang clang clang…”
As he watched the palm imprint grow larger before him, the Golden Robe Daoist shouted loudly. His feet sank into the ground as he wielded a massive sword with wide strokes, conjuring overlapping illusory sword shadows that intertwined and surged forward.
At that moment, the others also reacted swiftly and joined in without hesitation. They attacked from all directions, fists and palms merging together to form a torrent of overwhelming energy aimed at Ye Kai.
The combined strike of eight individuals was filled with an unprecedented murderous intent. The explosive force had already cleared a large area of bamboo forest nearby.
They all understood clearly that their opponent was an unprecedented formidable foe. Therefore, they exerted themselves to the fullest, holding nothing back. Their energy surged like rolling thunder, crashing forth.
“Boom!!!”
Suddenly, a faint water-colored circular barrier appeared, blocking the violent energy of the eight like a tidal wave. In an instant, it rebounded, sending the overwhelming force crashing back and propelling the eight away.
With a series of explosive sounds of tearing fabric, all but Ye Kai found their clothes suddenly ripped apart at that moment.
As the fragments flew through the air, Ye Kai soared upward like a purple cloud, gliding over the heads of the others. In just a breath, he had ascended to over ten meters high.
“Hahaha! This is truly exhilarating! A man should fight with all his might and let his blood boil!!!”
Ye Kai’s energy surged violently as he laughed heartily, “You guys should take another hit from This Sect!”
“I have Reprint, shining to suppress all directions!”
An illusory square seal appeared out of thin air and was slammed down by him.
“Boom!”
A terrifying shockwave swept through the air, lifting dust and debris to a height of over ten meters with an unstoppable momentum that swept in all directions.
Within a fifty-meter radius, everything was blown away; thousands of bamboo stalks shattered into pieces. In that moment, the entire bamboo forest was nearly leveled.
Meanwhile, Li Ling and Liu Zhongliang, who had wisely distanced themselves earlier, watched in stunned silence. This was simply inhuman!
However, Ye Kai understood that while this move seemed powerful, if it didn’t hit anyone, it would be meaningless. Moreover, any one of these eight could rival a Martial Arts Grandmaster; how could they possibly give in so easily?!
Suddenly, a sword light over ten meters long shot out from the dust and smoke, piercing straight toward Ye Kai’s brow.
“Clang!!!”
Ye Kai's eyes flashed with a hint of surprise. He then took a stance, his fist suddenly breaking through the air with a Sonic Boom, creating a resonant sound that echoed in an instant.
At that moment, the sound rippled through the air like waves, resembling the resonant tones of bells and drums, reverberating above the ruins.
Suddenly, a long howl pierced the air as the mist and dust were shattered by a single palm strike. In an instant, the furious roar of the Blood Butcher Monk transformed into a giant hand over a meter tall, appearing before Ye Kai.
"Boom!"
Ye Kai made his move.
He flicked his fingers, producing several light sounds, and the massive sword was sent flying backward with incredible force.
Then, he extended his left hand and pressed down. A tremendous power surged from his palm and struck the ground, causing a wave of dust to rise violently, spinning fiercely in mid-air before transforming into an Angry Dragon that roared forth.
"Clang!!!"
In mere moments, the Angry Dragon swept through the air, colliding with the colossal blood-red hand like a Dragon's Roar echoing through ancient bells.
Ye Kai's eyes showed a trace of astonishment; he hadn't expected this group to be so relentless. Frowning slightly, he lightly pushed off the ground, transforming into several afterimages once more.
"Bang bang bang!"
With each afterimage that paused, a lotus-like cloud of dust blossomed on the ground.
Then, as if triggered by a chain reaction, amidst the continuous explosions of sound, Ye Kai seemed to grow even more exhilarated. His energy rippled through the air like waves, and he laughed wildly.
With a thunderous roar, he transformed into a towering dust tornado over ten meters high. Countless shattered stones and bamboo fragments were swept into the air, releasing an enraged roar before exploding violently.
"Boom!!!"
Above the Bamboo Forest Ruins, another Thunderclap erupted. This sound was even more intense than before, resembling a thunderstorm on dry land or a Volcanic Eruption!
A tremendous echo reverberated through the air.
“Bang! Bang! Bang!”
Figures were sent flying like tennis balls struck hard, soaring dozens of meters away, leaving behind ripples in the air where they passed.
Ye Kai finally indulged himself, stretching his body with a long yawn, every joint cracking satisfyingly. A light smile appeared at the corners of his mouth as he said, “Ah, it’s been so long since I’ve felt this good moving around. Listen up, everyone, this Sect is about to make its move!”
He was not joking; those few strikes were merely a warm-up.
Although each of the eight opponents possessed Grandmaster-level martial arts skills, they had yet to reach the realm of Unity of Man and could not shake Ye Kai in the slightest.
He hadn’t even fully simulated the Demonic Aura Field, and these people were already unable to break through. If he hadn’t decided to test the defense level of the Vital Energy Shield later on, they wouldn’t have been able to hinder him for even a moment.
With an almost supernatural advantage, the sheer amount of true energy he possessed exceeded theirs by over a hundred times. Furthermore, he could replenish it at any time, showing no fear of group battles or wheel tactics.
By now, he had already revealed several Techniques: Nine Character Mantra, Reprint, Dragon Abyss Palm, Magic Field, and Vital Energy Shield. Each martial art would make people in the Jianghu fight tooth and nail for supremacy.
Not to mention that he still had many secret techniques left unused.
