The group abandoned their horses and continued on foot, quickly reaching the end of the winding mountain path.

At the end of the road lay a flat patch of grassland. Though it appeared small, there was no way to proceed further from here.
Ye Kai also understood why the officials had been unable to capture the Black Wind Stronghold upon seeing this place. The Knockoff indeed lacked walls, but the towering cliffs before them were far more difficult to scale than any fortress wall.
The main gate of the Knockoff stood a full twenty meters above them, with steep rock faces that were nearly impossible to climb.
Gazing at this dead end, Ye Kai marveled at the thought that if someone were to roll a massive boulder down from above, the consequences would be catastrophic—anyone on the path would be crushed to pulp!
To attack from here was futile; even if a thousand soldiers were sent, or even ten thousand, they would never breach the gate.
While transporting goods in and out of such a sheer mountain path was undoubtedly challenging, the bandits had managed to build wooden structures atop the giant rocks. Ye Kai noticed several places with hanging baskets that could lift heavy items directly from the ground.
“Master, is that the mountain gate of Black Wind Stronghold up there?”
Lin Pingzhi suddenly realized, “No wonder so many officials have failed to break in. Even if a thousand or ten thousand men tried, they wouldn’t be able to breach that gate!”
“Ye Yi and Ye Er, go open the gate. Ping Zhi, Chongzi, you two follow up. The next steps depend on you,” Ye Kai instructed.
“Yes, Master, Senior!” Lin Pingzhi and Linghu Chong exchanged excited glances.
A smile flickered in Ye Kai's eyes as he watched the eager newcomers of the martial world. He dismounted quietly and stood with his hands behind his back, gazing into the distance.
This was their first real ‘battle’ related to chivalry since they began their journey; how could they not feel an overwhelming sense of excitement?
In reality, he was using a Multifunctional Detector to examine everything within the Knockoff, particularly the radiant glow enveloping its grand hall.
It looked like a treasure from a fantasy or fairy tale was about to emerge!
This is merely a Martial Arts Dimension, and there are no intruders here. After all, the deity only checked to see if there were any outsiders or anything that exceeded the geographical and cultural norms of this era.

"You pests who are a Disaster to the Nation and People! Today I, Lin Pingzhi, along with Brother Linghu, will seek justice for all those who have suffered at your hands!"
"Indeed! It should be so; justice is clear and retribution is inevitable. Today, we brothers shall act for righteousness—kill!!!"
Lin Pingzhi and Linghu Chong were like tigers unleashed, drawing their long swords with a clang and plunging into the crowd of Bandits.
The light of their swords flickered as they moved gracefully, their faces revealing a fierce intensity. With each flash of their blades, a chilling scream echoed through the air.
"My mother... run! These two are too terrifying; they can't be hit at all!"
"My hand! Chief, help me..."
"Kill them! The chief will reward you heavily. Don't let them escape, or there will be no mercy!"
Although some of the Bandits were clever, upon seeing Ye Kai and experiencing firsthand how they couldn't land a hit on the two warriors, they were filled with dread and scattered in panic, no longer daring to engage.
"Damn it! How dare these scoundrels come to my Black Wind Stronghold to kill! Do they think my iron staff Liu Cheng has killed too few people?!"
Liu Cheng swung his iron staff, creating a whirlwind of black energy, then brought it crashing down toward the two. The sheer force of the blow shattered the air with a thunderous boom, creating a large pit in the ground.
"Clang! Clang! Clang!"
Lin Pingzhi and Linghu Chong had already dispersed to avoid the strike, but their expressions turned serious. Their swords trembled as they shattered the flying debris with swift movements.
This man wielding the iron staff was undoubtedly a formidable opponent that could not be underestimated.
With a flash, nine cold lights glimmered. Lin Pingzhi moved like the wind, his sword tip bursting forth with icy brilliance. With incredible speed, he sliced through the throat of an approaching Bandit.
As he saw the iron staff swinging toward him again, he didn’t even glance back. In that moment, he transformed into nine spiraling figures, his sword trailing dozens of cold stars as he thrust it into the throats of seven or eight more Bandits nearby.
"Ah! Damn Losers, I'm going to kill you all!!!"
Liu Cheng was about to explode with anger. He knew very well his own abilities; if it came to a head-on confrontation, he believed that even a First-Class Expert would not be his match. However, those who possessed such swift movements were the ones he despised the most in his life.
"You two Mud Monkeys, do you only know how to run? Are you not real men? Don't you have anything between your legs? If you have the guts, come and fight me..."
The two young men, who had been stirred up by the prospect of killing, were frightened by the arrival of the second-in-command. They suddenly regained their spirits and began shouting as they desperately swung their swords.
