"Enough nonsense! I've long heard of the infamous Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns, and today we shall experience their power firsthand!" Meryl shouted in her characteristic high-pitched voice. "Let's attack together!"
"Blood Clan secret technique, Blood Ignition!!!" Vlad was the first to respond.
"Ye Kai, let's strike together; otherwise, none of us will escape the ambush of the Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns!" Ariel exclaimed with a serious expression.
Suddenly, the entire hall was engulfed in an atmosphere of relentless killing intent. Whether it was the Blood Clan's bizarre magic or the two witches' Divine Abilities, they unleashed their attacks without reservation toward the front.
"Boom Boom Boom!"
The violent energy surged in all directions in an instant, accompanied by strange black smoke that twisted like serpents and thousands of fire crows that erupted from the ground, crazily charging toward the Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns.
Ye Kai did not trust any of these people at all, and he sensed that others likely shared his sentiments.
Although the cooperation among the three was seamless, suppressing the Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns for a moment, it did not mean they could win.
A smirk of disdain curled at the corner of Ye Kai's mouth as he effortlessly sidestepped numerous coincidental blasts of energy and magical ice spikes with light steps.
Suddenly, his Dual Eyes narrowed as he watched Meryl and Ariel, both witches, charge forward with fierce expressions ready to engage in close combat. This sparked an ominous thought in his mind.
Sensing something amiss, he did not dare to be careless. With a sudden push off the ground, he vanished from his spot.
The four engaged in a rapid exchange within the hall. In just a few seconds, large swathes of black mist, flames, and icy walls exploded. At that moment, Meryl was sent flying by a blow from the Ice Emperor, while Ariel was directly forced back by the Ice Queen.
As it seemed that the Silver Treasure Chest was about to fall into the hands of the Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns...
Suddenly, two very faint and thin Red Flames appeared as if they would extinguish with a mere breeze, striking against both their arms with a 'bang.'
"Smack!!!"
Strangely, the flames did not cause any significant effect; instead, they shattered like bubbles.
"Damn it!"
"Blood Poison!"
Ye Kai squinted as he watched the Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns, their expressions drastically changing, even to the point of severing an arm.
"Boom! Boom!"
Their arms exploded the moment they hit the ground, transforming into a two-meter-high spray of blood, Red Flame.
'As expected!!!' None of these people were easy to deal with.
Ye Kai observed Vlad, who after landing a successful strike, transformed into hundreds of Red-Eyed Bats that scattered in all directions. His heart raced with renewed caution.
Meryl let out a cold laugh, wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth. "This is the first time I've suffered such severe injuries. This time, I'll let you taste the power of this specially concocted blood poison!"
As the shockwave from the explosion sent the Silver Treasure Chest soaring into the air, it landed with a thud several meters away.
"You’re seeking death!"
"Ice and Snow Domain, manifest!"
The Ice and Snow Dual Sovereigns roared in fury, their piercing screams echoing as they gripped their remaining weapons tightly. Almost simultaneously, they swung towards Vlad, clearly intent on making him their target.
"Boom!!!"
Following the principle of not letting a good opportunity slip by, Ye Kai instinctively wanted to intervene but was immediately deterred by the chilling ice and snow currents that sent shivers down his spine. He quickly darted into a stone door.
When clams fight, it’s the fisherman who benefits in the end, right?
With this thought in mind, he felt his fatigue vanish; his legs no longer ached, and he walked with newfound energy.
Smirking with satisfaction, he easily navigated through the limp Devil Vines beneath his feet. After several twists and turns, he finally arrived at another grand hall similar to the previous one.
However, this hall was far more magnificent than the last. It resembled a royal palace, with a two-meter-long and one-meter-wide Crystal Coffin at its center.
A greenish glow filled the space, and within it lay something dark and ominous that resembled either a mummy or a desiccated corpse.
What surprised him the most was that the Crystal Coffin was suspended in mid-air above a dark well with a diameter of seven or eight meters, surrounded by writhing Devil Vines that seemed to be dancing.
"That fishman monster has turned into a dried corpse?" Ye Kai noticed that what should have been a 'mermaid' had already fallen lifelessly ahead of him, yet he did not act recklessly.
Beneath him lay several limp Devil Vines, and he had witnessed their previous ferocity. Now, however, there were even more in front of him. Although they appeared to be moving in some special rhythm, he couldn't shake the feeling that they might suddenly spring at him.
After pondering for a moment, he suddenly took out the Sharkman Pearl and the Silver Key, beginning to scrutinize the grand hall carefully.
"Chilly!"
At that moment, the vines that had been dancing in a rhythmic manner suddenly went wild, surging up in a frenzy and rushing towards him, causing his expression to change drastically.
"Ding ding ding!"
Ye Kai pushed himself to the limit of his current abilities, transforming into a wisp of blue smoke as he dodged continuously, not daring to hesitate or linger for even a moment.
After evading for a while, he realized that this approach was not sustainable. Although he was confident in cutting down all these Devil Vines, it would undoubtedly create a huge commotion, which would not be ideal.
However, he soon froze in place because in his frantic evasion, he had failed to notice that the key in his hand had released a faint Halo at that moment.
The overwhelming force he felt was actually just these Devil Vines targeting the Sharkman Pearl in his other hand?
Seeing this scene, Ye Kai's eyes lit up. He couldn't help but tentatively brush his treasure against the Devil Vines, which immediately caused their assault to slow down.
After several attempts confirmed his suspicions, he couldn't help but curse himself for being such an idiot. He raised the key high and warily watched as a mass of Devil Vines rushed toward him.
As the vines, tougher than diamonds, approached him, they transformed into something soft and pliable upon contact. The sensation was indescribably exhilarating.
Even with his trump card, Ye Kai couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat at that moment.
Watching as the Devil Vines continuously rubbed against him, he felt truly uncomfortable and couldn't help but angrily shout, "Stop right there!"
To his surprise, not only did the Devil Vines halt their advance, but they also seemed to exhibit signs of fear. This left him curious about what kind of origin this key possessed.
"Take me to the Treasure Room!"
With Ye Kai's tentative command, the group of Devil Vines seemed to spring to life once more, wrapping around him and swiftly plunging into the dark abyss of the well.
What the hell!
Are we really going deeper?
This can't possibly lead to an endless abyss, can it?
Though he was extremely displeased and struggling against various discomforts, he wasn't foolish enough to demand that the Devil Vines let him go. It was clear that these Devil Vines possessed a hint of Intelligence; otherwise, they wouldn't have transformed into a cocoon to envelop him.
In truth, he was quite interested in that Crystal Coffin above. However, it now seemed that it might just be a trap!
If it weren't for the Silver Key, anyone would likely assume that there must be something valuable inside that Crystal Coffin.
But right now, sitting in this Devil Vine version of an elevator, he wasn't in a hurry anymore.
What occupied his mind now was how to convince the Devil Vines to take him away; clearly, this creature was the perfect guardian!
