"Boss, what is this?" Qida stepped forward and asked in a low voice, sensing that something was off.
"It seems to be someone from our place!" Nerun explained without turning around.
"From the same place? Are they trying to get a piece of the pie? Boss, we don't have much time. The longer we stay awake, the more dreams we might have. It's better to finish the mission quickly." Qida spoke again, a faintly cold smile on his face. "If they want to meddle, we're not pushovers!"

"Who cares what it is? I'll give it a try!" The cat ignited Red Flame with her fingers, leaving behind a faint afterimage as she swiftly traced chaotic arcs in the air. In an instant, a metallic glint flashed.
"Boom!!!"
The nearest black-red flame suddenly exploded, but instead of extinguishing the fire, it transformed into countless fiery tendrils that swept outwards within a two to three-meter radius.
"Watch out!" Ye Kai's expression also changed as he dashed behind Wu Lao Liu, raising his right arm defensively.
"Clang!!"
A black-red beam struck fiercely against the dagger in his hand. It was a strange-looking bird with a black horn on its head, pitch-black eyes, and a body of black and red.

Ye Kai tilted his head and glanced at Nerun, whose eyes suddenly turned dim and whose aura became stagnant. He smiled inwardly. "Moreover, although I haven't interacted with Beiman or Ferson, I can’t be fooled by the extremely pure sacred aura within them!"
Nerun exhaled and nodded. "Good. This way, our chances increase significantly, and the pressure we bear will be much lighter."

As soon as Ye Kai's voice fell, the two had already vanished from their spot. Suddenly, two figures shot forward like arrows, leaving behind a trail where all obstacles exploded into dust.
However, their direction was obstructed, forcing them to transform into a black line that disappeared into the mist.
