"Who!"
The two shouted loudly, their gazes sharp as swords, piercing forward.
There stood a figure, seemingly a man, but he appeared to blend into the darkness. If one wasn't careful, it would be easy to overlook him.
At this moment, however, neither of them showed any signs of carelessness; instead, they tensed up. The man wore a strange black tight-fitting outfit and stood seven feet tall, with his hair and facial features completely wrapped.
He coldly stared at them, cradling a blood-red blade in his arms, like a wild wolf ready to pounce.
"Hand over your Material Treasures, magical artifacts, and elixirs, and you may leave."
His voice was chillingly cold, exuding a powerful confidence filled with an intimidating aura that made one feel an involuntary shiver run down their spine.
Ye Kai remained motionless, a playful smile on his lips as he lazily glanced toward the darker area in the distance.
Ge Quan and Yang Baishun seemed almost stunned.
Their entire presence and magical energy gradually intensified. Not only did they summon their Flying Swords, but each also held two jade talismans tightly in their hands.
Clearly, in their eyes, this man who seemed to merge completely with the darkness radiated an overwhelming aura that distorted the air around him.
"Good blade!"
Ye Kai suddenly chuckled lightly. He could easily tell that while this person appeared formidable on the surface, most of that power came from the Blood-Red Blade in his hand; otherwise, he wouldn't exude such an imposing presence.
Indeed, upon being struck by those words, the man's aura fluctuated slightly. His eyes flashed with fierce light as he ominously spoke, "Everyone come out. If they don't know how to appreciate this opportunity, then let's all attack together and eliminate them. We'll divide the spoils."
Suddenly, Ye Kai's expression changed. He found an excuse for his earlier judgment and muttered subconsciously, "Although they aren't all from prestigious sects, at least those two beasts seem to have some background."
"Stop talking nonsense when death is imminent, you Idiot! Quickly hand over your treasures; the great Wolf Prince will leave you with intact corpses."
Seeing a Spirit Light leap out from the darkness, Ye Kai was taken aback. This guy's hearing was incredible; he could even catch his murmurs from such a distance.
However, just these few people were truly not enough to keep him entertained. He had taken down the peak of the Heart-Moving Stage before and still held the Talisman Treasure in his hands. He chuckled lightly and said, "If you want the treasure, then catch up to me first!"
As soon as his words fell, a dark Golden Long Whip suddenly shot out from Ye Kai's sleeve, wrapping around Ge Quan and Yang Baishun, instantly transforming them into a beam of Spirit Light that soared down another path.
Yet, his laughter—both mocking and disdainful—echoed through the corridor, immediately igniting the anger of the six who were preparing to surround him. They all shouted loudly and gave chase.
"Hmph!" The figure trailing closely behind snorted coldly and unexpectedly accelerated slightly.
"Eh?"
Ye Kai exclaimed in surprise, "Wow, you guys really have quite a few good things in your group!"
Ge Quan and Yang Baishun were left speechless, helplessly staring at the distorted faces of those a hundred meters behind them, their eyes burning with fury.
"Are there two members of the demon race among them?" Ge Quan asked quietly.
"No, no... Uh, what I mean is, their demonic aura is not only pure; if I'm not mistaken, these two must be descendants of some Powerful Being from the demon race. Perhaps they really are princes from a branch of that race," Yang Baishun said with a furrowed brow.
Suddenly, a two-meter-tall Silver-White Giant Wolf howled long and loud. Its Speed doubled as it fixed its gaze on Yang Baishun and Ge Quan, preparing to pounce on them.
"Big dog? Hehe, it's been a while since I've had big dog meat! I didn't expect to encounter such a good thing here. Good doggy, hurry up and catch up; I'll feed you bones later and fatten you up so we can have a delicious pot of fragrant dog meat..."
Ye Kai chuckled again. However, urging his magic power, he accelerated once more. The Spirit Light surrounding him surged dramatically as he quickly distanced himself from his pursuers.
After more than half an hour, Ye Kai finally spotted a grand hall. His Speed increased again as he dashed inside, just as his pursuers caught up behind him.
At the same time, Ge Quan and Yang Baishun were violently thrown off by his momentum.
"Bang!!!"
Ye Kai suddenly turned around and struck out with a massive palm, colliding fiercely with a similarly large wolf claw.
"Good dog! Here, have a bone!"
Ye Kai continued his sharp tongue, while his right arm flicked, resembling a venomous snake as it lunged towards the chest of the Silver Giant Wolf, which had been momentarily stunned by the recoil from its own force.
"Awoo!"
Wolf Cypress's eyes turned red, and he became frantic, opening his mouth to bite.
With a hint of mocking smile at the corner of his mouth, Ye Kai managed to evade the wolf's bite just in time. His arm suddenly formed into a knife-like shape as he thrust it sharply towards the Silver Giant Wolf's chin, which was unable to react in time.
"Thud!!!"
Wolf Cypress felt a surge of anger and tried to dodge, but it was already too late. Ye Kai's hand struck with such force that it created a blood hole the size of a wine cup, sending the entire body of the wolf flying back with a thunderous crash, smashing into a large section of the stone wall at the entrance of the Hall of Time.
"Bang!"
Ye Kai then swayed slightly and unleashed several more strikes. The air was filled with muffled grunts as figures were sent flying in all directions, just as the Silver Giant Wolf, now in a frenzied state, lunged forward.
Witnessing this scene, those who had been knocked back felt their eyes nearly burst with rage, and they shouted angrily while rushing forward.
"Get away!!"
"Boom!!" "Thud!!"
After a dull explosion echoed through the air, the Silver Giant Wolf was nearly torn in half by several people. Amidst the rain of blood, it let out a mournful howl. At the same time, those who had thrown punches couldn't help but grunt in pain, with some even spitting out Blood Mist.
