Jiang Chen smiled faintly, noticing Tengye Kikuko's worried expression. She seemed concerned that he might have killed Murata Kazuki, provoking the Yagawa Association's revenge. Jiang Chen decided to let things unfold naturally and didn't feel the need to elaborate.
Tengye Kikuko doubted Jiang Chen's ability to handle the Yagawa Association, but he saw no reason to convince her otherwise. Words were futile; actions would speak louder.
After a while, as the sun set, Murata Kazuki arrived in a Maybach, accompanied by an elderly man dressed in samurai attire, with a shaved head and sparse stubble, holding a katana. This elder was Honda Tashun, a renowned swordsman supported by the Yagawa Association. He had studied under Ishii Ansei years ago and was considered half of Ishii Ansei's disciple.
Upon seeing Murata Kazuki, Tengye Shi immediately led his family to greet him, showing great respect. Murata Kazuki's expression was cold as he entered the room and spotted Jiang Chen lounging on the sofa.
At the sight of Jiang Chen, Murata Kazuki paused for a moment, surprised that this young man had come to the Tengye Family. He looked at Tengye Kikuko and asked coldly, "Why did you bring him here? What is your relationship with him?"
"Don't overthink it," Tengye Kikuko replied calmly. "Mr. Jiang is a friend of mine from Huaxia. He asked me to look after him while he enjoys his time in the Island Nation. Since he has no plans tonight, I thought I’d take him to the party. I've already agreed to marry you; what more do you need to be concerned about?"
"Fine, he can attend the party, but you must accompany me tonight," Murata Kazuki said coldly.
Tengye Kikuko's facial muscles twitched as she reluctantly nodded in agreement.
Although Jiang Chen couldn't understand their conversation, he could guess what was happening.
"Come on, let's share a car," Murata Kazuki said as he approached Tengye Kikuko and extended his arm for her to take.
Tengye Kikuko looked troubled but felt she had no choice. With a sigh, she reached out to link her arm with Murata Kazuki's when suddenly, Jiang Chen stood up and walked directly in front of Murata Kazuki. Without saying a word, he slapped him across the face.
Jiang Chen's action was so sudden that even Murata Kazuki was caught off guard; he never expected Jiang Chen would strike him.
"You've been my translator these past few days. No one can force you to do anything you don't want to do; now come with me," Jiang Chen said with a faint smile, ignoring Murata Kazuki entirely.
Murata Kazuki was stunned by the slap; after regaining his senses, he spat out blood and lost a few teeth. Pointing at Jiang Chen in fury, he shouted, "You little brat! You're asking for death; I will kill you!"
"Master Honda, please intervene! This kid thinks he can act tough just because he has some martial arts skills," Murata Kazuki pleaded, knowing full well he was no match for Jiang Chen.
Honda Tashun was slightly taken aback. Although he had heard from Murata Kazuki that Jiang Chen was skilled in Huaxia martial arts, seeing him now made Honda Tashun dismissive. To him, Jiang Chen appeared merely as a boy who posed no threat whatsoever. As a master of Island Swordsmanship with few rivals among his peers, Honda Tashun believed he could easily crush this Huaxia youth underfoot.
Jiang Chen's audacity in front of him suggested that he was unaware of Honda Tashun's true identity.
