However, Zhang Xun calmly said, "You know too much." 0

After Zhang Xun spoke, the Peach Wood Sword fell, and the anguished cries of the soul grew louder, causing a sense of panic in those who listened. 0

Zhang Xun called to me, "Seal the coffin." 0

I hurried forward, initially intending to lift the coffin lid. But as I approached, Zhang Xun grabbed my hand and swiftly cut my finger with a dagger. Then he instructed me to write the word "Decree" on the Evil Spirit. 0

Though I felt a bit flustered, I followed Zhang Xun's instructions. 0

The soul in the coffin was restrained and unable to move. I glanced at it before quickly writing the two characters. Once I finished, Zhang Xun told me to step aside. 0

He then wrote a few more characters beneath mine, his handwriting quite messy; I couldn't make out what it said. 0

After completing this, Zhang Xun withdrew the Peach Wood Sword. He then asked me to help lift the coffin lid so we could close the coffin. After that, silence returned to the area. 0

Two bodies still lay on the ground. 0

I prepared to approach one of them for a closer look, but Zhang Xun stopped me, saying that the corpse should not be touched and should be burned on the spot. 0

I glanced at Zhang Xun; his face was pale. 0

It seemed his hand was still bleeding. I asked, "Are you okay?" 0

Zhang Xun shook his head. 0

At that moment, Gao Ling also awakened and said, "Fei, are we dead?" 0

I replied, "No, we're still alive." Gao Ling groaned, "It really hurts." He picked up the Exorcism Talisman and glanced at Zhang Xun. "Is this your friend?" 0

I nodded, still surprised by Zhang Xun's appearance. 0

There were many questions I wanted to ask Zhang Xun, especially about him stealing the Corpse Oil and the video incident. 0

Zhang Xun stood there for a moment in a daze. After a while, he walked over to the corpse of the female ghost's boyfriend and sprinkled some powdery substance over it. Instantly, black smoke began to rise from the body, and a foul odor quickly filled the air. 0

I couldn't help but cover my mouth with my hand. 0

However, Zhang Xun didn't seem too affected. He walked over to the campfire, grabbed a torch, and threw it onto the corpse, which immediately erupted into flames. 0

Gao Ling exclaimed, "Your friend is quite capable!" 0

I didn't respond to Gao Ling but instead asked Zhang Xun, "What exactly happened between you and Director Wang?" 0

Deep down, I was also uneasy. Old Wang wasn't a good person, and the video he showed me was terrifying. So I felt a bit apprehensive about him. 0

I waited for Zhang Xun's answer. 0

But Zhang Xun simply said, "He has issues, but I'm still investigating what those issues are." 0

Gao Ling interjected, "My uncle definitely has problems; I can vouch for that." 0

I was left speechless. 0

Gao Ling was indeed a peculiar character. On the surface, his relationship with his uncle seemed fine, yet he always seemed to "betray" him. 0

After a moment of hesitation, I asked him a question, to which Gao Ling replied, "I can't do that. After all, he is my uncle, and this is a personal matter between us." 0

Hearing this from Gao Ling, I decided not to press further. 0

I then turned to Zhang Xun and said, "But you have issues too. How do you explain that?" 0

Zhang Xun looked at me intently and said, "No need for explanations; you'll understand in due time." 0

However, before I could finish my thought, Zhang Xun interrupted me, saying there was no 'however.' "Urn, take care of it. If everything is fine at the funeral home, it's best if you don't go there." 0

After Zhang Xun spoke, he prepared to leave. Suddenly, I asked, "Have you known Fatty Zhang and the others for a long time? I got hold of a photo." 0

I quickly pulled out the photo and stepped closer to Zhang Xun to show him. 0

Zhang Xun glanced at it and said, "It's fake." 0

I wanted to ask more questions, but Zhang Xun continued, "You two should bury the coffin right here. I'm leaving now." 0

As Zhang Xun tried to walk away, I reached out to grab him for more clarity. Yet somehow, he slipped out of my grasp effortlessly. 0

I took a step forward, but Zhang Xun had already moved several steps ahead. Finally, he turned back and said to me, "If I wanted to harm you, I wouldn't have saved you just now." 0

With that, Zhang Xun quickly vanished into the night. 0

I stood there in a daze. He was right; if he truly intended to kill me, why would he have saved me just moments ago? 0

However, that Evil Spirit seemed to be related to my Yin-Yang Fate. 0

I let out a heavy sigh as Gao Ling took out tools from the car and started digging a hole. "Let's bury the coffin," Gao Ling said. I nodded and joined Gao Ling in digging the grave. 0

"Gao Ling said, 'Fei, your buddy is definitely not trying to harm you. If he wanted to, he wouldn't have come out to save you just now.'" 0

I nodded in acknowledgment. 0

Then Gao Ling asked me, "What exactly happened at your funeral home?" 0

I glanced at Gao Ling, but I had no intention of revealing what had transpired at the funeral home. I thanked him for risking his life to save me earlier. 0

Seeing that I had changed the subject, Gao Ling, being perceptive, didn’t press further. 0

Once we got back in the car, Gao Ling let out a sigh of relief. "The issue with the female ghost is finally resolved! Let's go celebrate." 0

I agreed; resolving this matter had indeed eased my mind considerably. 0

Yet, the mysteries in my heart remained unsolved. 0

The photograph and CD. 0

Zhang Xun had quickly dismissed the idea that the photo was fake, which made me feel like he was hiding something. 0

Something must have happened in 198, especially at the funeral home. I might need to investigate what really occurred. 0

Gao Ling drove towards the city. During the ride, he handed me a cigarette. I lit it up while Gao Ling mumbled something under his breath. 0

I was also lost in thought, so we both sat in silence. 0

The car was driving smoothly when suddenly, Gao Ling slammed on the brakes. My body lurched forward, nearly crashing into the windshield. 0

"What are you doing?" I asked. 0

Gao Ling replied, excitement evident in her voice, "I figured it out, I figured it out!" 0

"What did you figure out?" I inquired. 0

"I remembered that pattern from the Black-and-White Film you showed me. I've seen it before." 0

Her words piqued my interest immediately. "Where did you see it?" 0

"My uncle's house. I'll take you there right now." After saying that, Gao Ling drove us toward her uncle's place. She continued, "There's usually no one at my uncle's house, and he's still single." 0

I wasn't concerned about that; I was only focused on the pattern. 0

When we arrived at her uncle's house, it was a two-story building with a yard. Gao Ling opened the door and went inside, and I followed closely behind. Once inside, we made our way to her uncle's study. After she turned on the light, Gao Ling pointed to a circular pattern on a pillar and said, "Here." 0

I glanced up at it and quickly said, "Turn on the computer." 0

Gao Ling moved swiftly and soon had the computer in the study up and running. I inserted the CD and fast-forwarded to the end before pausing it. 0

I looked at the pattern on the computer screen and then ran back to examine the one on the pillar. Comparing them side by side, they were indeed identical! 0

My breath quickened as I realized this pattern must represent some kind of secret. 0

I took out the photo and glanced at it. The people in it looked youthful, but I felt that this photo was fake; it seemed impossible! 0

Gao Ling suddenly stared at the computer and said, "Fei, could this pattern be similar to some kind of emblem? Like how schools have their logos or companies have their badges." 0

I understood what Gao Ling meant; this pattern might indeed be the emblem of some organization. 0

It was likely related to the people in the photo, but what puzzled me the most was how I ended up in this picture. 0

I asked Gao Ling to search for our funeral home online. In this information age, most things can be found online, and a funeral home would be no exception. 0

I leaned closer to the computer, scanning through the information, but I didn't find anything useful. 0

I told Gao Ling, "Keep scrolling down." 0

After flipping through several pages, I quickly spotted a few black-and-white images. I asked Gao Ling to click on them. Once we did, I saw the original appearance of the funeral home from years ago—there were a total of five pictures. However, my expression changed when I saw the fifth image. 0

Just then, a cold voice came from behind me, saying, "You know too much..." 0
