The old man lifted his head and looked at us, turning his Eyeball and nodding. "Alright, I agree to your terms, but please ensure you uphold your end of the bargain." 0

"Of course, as long as you don't deceive us, the Spirit Pearl will definitely be yours," I replied, feeling a surge of excitement inside while maintaining a calm expression on my face. 0

"Good, then let's go." With that, the old man walked ahead of us. Dumeng Princess glanced at him, her face filled with concern. "Are we really going to trust this person? He is from the Flower Tribe." 0

Seeing Dumeng Princess so worried made me smile slightly; she was a good friend. 0

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. Please trust us," I reassured Dumeng Princess. 0

"Really?" 0

I nodded seriously at her, and she began to feel more at ease as we continued to follow the old man. 0

The old man led us deep into the forest. I wasn't worried that he would suddenly betray us because he didn't have the strength to do so; otherwise, he wouldn't have said those words to us. 0

After a while, we heard the sound of whistling wind coming from ahead. The old man stopped and said to us, "Beyond this point is the lonely island. However, you must be careful; the island is full of Pigeon. These Pigeon are very ferocious, so do not provoke them, understood?" 0

We nodded. The old man's expression was very serious, which made everyone present tense up. 0

We exited the forest and found ourselves facing the lonely island. However, before reaching it, we had to cross a suspension bridge. 0

Below the bridge was an endless abyss, and the bridge itself looked particularly dangerous, swaying significantly. It would be nearly impossible to use Divine Power to fly across. 0

Above the bridge were the Pigeon that the old man mentioned; there were many of them circling in the sky. 0

"Do we really have to cross here? It looks very dangerous," Dumeng Princess said with concern. 0

I hesitated for a moment; this suspension bridge was indeed perilous. Moreover, many planks on it were missing. 0

"Yes, this is the only way to reach the lonely island. As long as you follow my steps closely, you will be fine. Just don't anger the Pigeon above," the old man suddenly interjected upon hearing our conversation. 0

The old man carefully stepped onto the suspension bridge, and we did not move forward but watched him intently. 0

As he crossed, his expression was extremely serious. The moment he took his first step onto the bridge, it shook violently, as if it might break at any moment. This sight made us all break into a sweat. 0

I lifted my gaze to the sky and saw the Pigeons circling above. They seemed to have sensed the old man's presence, gathering ominously above his head, staring down at him with fierce intent. 0

"Wang, I have a feeling this old man is in serious trouble," Xiaomei said, glancing at me. 0

I returned my gaze to Xiaomei, surprised by her words. This old man had been on the deserted island for a long time, and judging by what he had just said, he clearly knew a lot about it. If something happened to him, wouldn’t that prove how dangerous this island really was? 0

"It shouldn't be," I thought anxiously. 0

"Look! Those Pigeons seem to be attacking the old man!" Suddenly, Xiaomei exclaimed in shock. 0

Both Xiaomei and I turned our attention back to the scene. The Pigeons that had been circling in the air suddenly swooped down, all diving toward the old man. 0

My heart sank; these Pigeons were coming in fast, and it seemed the old man was truly in danger. I immediately moved forward, but Xiaomei and Dumeng Princess quickly blocked my path. 0

"Wang, where are you going?" they asked. 0

"Yeah, it's too dangerous on that bridge; you shouldn’t go over there." 0

"I know, but if we don’t go, the old man will die!" I felt a surge of urgency. Even though the old man was from the Flower Tribe, we had to save him no matter what. 0

"Wang, are you crazy? What do you think we can do in this situation?" Xiaomei pointed angrily toward the old man. 0

I hesitated and looked in his direction. 0

The area around the old man was surrounded by fierce Pigeons that looked terrifying. They viciously pecked at him with their sharp beaks. 0

The old man appeared to be struggling; he had to face those Pigeons while also trying to maintain his balance on the swaying bridge. With each movement he made, the bridge shook even more dangerously. At first, he seemed capable of dealing with the Pigeons, but soon he lost strength and was lifted off the ground by them. 0

Suddenly, the old man was lifted high into the air by the Pigeons, and my heart sank. What were these Pigeons planning to do? 0

In the next moment, I saw the Pigeons suddenly drop the old man. Instantly, the mountains echoed with his tragic cries as he plummeted into the abyss. 0

For some reason, I felt a deep sadness in my heart. Xiaomei glanced at me, seemingly wanting to say something, but she held back. 0

"Don't be too upset; this isn't something we wanted to witness. Besides, the old man must have done something to provoke the Pigeons," Dumeng Princess analyzed. 0

Listening to Dumeng Princess, I reflected on the old man's actions and thought about it. It seemed he hadn't done anything to anger the Pigeons. 0

At that moment, Xiaomei turned to me and Dumeng Princess and said, "I figured it out! It's because they detected the pollen scent on him. You might not know this, but the Pigeons on this isolated island are sensitive to pollen. The old man could have masked his scent, but before coming here, he was stripped of his spiritual power by the king's dragon. Without that protection, his pollen scent naturally spread out. Once the Pigeons caught a whiff of it, they became extremely aggressive and agitated. It's only normal for them to attack him." 0

Now I understood. I looked back at the Pigeons on the suspension bridge and noticed their numbers had increased. Could it be that the pollen scent from the old man attracted more Pigeons? 0

"Your Highness, should we still go over?" Xiaomei asked, noticing my conflicted expression. 0

I thought for a moment and replied to Xiaomei, "Yes, but we need to wait for the right moment. This isn't suitable; there are too many Pigeons, and their anger is still strong. Moreover, the spot where the old man stood might still have some residual pollen scent. If we go over now, we'll definitely end up covered in it." 0

"Okay, then let's wait," Xiaomei said. 0

We had no choice but to sit down and started a small fire nearby while waiting for the Pigeons. Just then, a series of cooing sounds reached us. 0

Dumeng Princess looked at us with an embarrassed expression and said, "Hehe, sorry about this! I'm hungry. You all wait here; I'll go find something for you." 0

Upon hearing this, I stood up. How could Dumeng Princess go off alone? I pressed her back down and told her firmly, "You stay here; I'll go. You all just wait." 0

With that said, I walked into the forest nearby. After all, it wasn't difficult to hunt some game since the woods were so close. 0

Once inside the forest, I began searching for signs of wild game. However, after searching for quite a while, I found no trace of any animals. 0

Suddenly, a rabbit flashed in front of me, and my eyes lit up as I immediately chased after it. 0

The rabbit was incredibly fast, and in no time, it disappeared from sight. It was then that I realized I had wandered into an unknown place. 0

I furrowed my brow, suddenly thinking that the rabbit I had seen earlier might not have been a real rabbit at all. 0

“Caw caw caw,” a chilling sound echoed around me, prompting me to look toward its source. 0

There, to my left, stood a figure dressed in black. His gaze was fixed on me; although his face was obscured, I could still discern a sinister expression in his eyes. 0

“Who are you?” I asked the figure in black. 0

Upon hearing my question, he took a step closer to me. I wasn’t worried that he would attack. 0

“How about we make a deal?” the figure said as he stopped right in front of me. 0

I hesitated for a moment before asking, “What kind of deal do you want to make?” 0

“Why don’t you give me the position of the Spirit King?” he replied. 0

I paused again, confused. “How do you know about the Spirit King? Who exactly are you?” 0
