"What's wrong with you? Just say it!" Wang Niu exclaimed, growing anxious as he turned to Feng Ju.
Ruoxi was also worried by Feng Ju's demeanor. She nudged him and urged, "Feng Ju, please speak up. We can't afford to delay this matter."
Feng Ju nodded and began to explain, "Before, everything in the Underworld was fine. But a few days later, something strange happened there, which made me uneasy. The disturbance occurred at Black Cliff, a place that Ruoxi is familiar with."
As he spoke, Feng Ju glanced at Ruoxi, who nodded in acknowledgment. Yes, she knew that place.
Wang Niu looked at Ruoxi with confusion.
Ruoxi clarified for Wang Niu, "It's a place filled with malevolent energy."
Wang Niu paused for a moment; even if it was filled with such energy, it shouldn't intimidate Feng Ju.
"Wang Jun, this place is very complex. If you ever go there, you'll understand," Ruoxi said, her expression turning serious. This only deepened Wang Niu's confusion.
Seeing the expressions on their faces, Feng Ju felt even worse. He looked at Wang Niu and Ruoxi and continued, "I told Xiaomei that I wanted to check out this place, but she was worried about me going alone and insisted on coming with me. Then the baby decided to join us as well. Before we set off, I had a nagging feeling that something was off."
At this point, Feng Ju fell silent, leaving Ruoxi and Wang Niu even more anxious.
"Feng Ju, what happened?" Wang Niu asked curiously.
Feng Ju took a deep breath. "When we arrived at Black Cliff, the turbulence had vanished, which piqued my curiosity. I looked around, but then something bizarre occurred."
As he recounted this part of the story, his expression turned guilty. "Suddenly, a mass of black mist appeared before me. It was as if it had been infused with endless malevolence and it took Xiaomei and the baby away. By the time I realized what was happening and thought of how to deal with the mist, it was already too late."
With a sigh, Feng Ju's eyes were filled with guilt. Wang Niu furrowed his brows, wondering what had been targeting them all along.
At that moment, a name echoed in Wang Niu's mind.
Ghost Gate Cult.
Previously, the Ghost Gate Cult had emerged before he became the Heavenly Emperor. Could it be that the Ghost Gate Cult had reappeared?
Seeing Wang Niu lost in thought, Ruoxi moved slightly and asked with concern, "Wang Jun, what are you thinking about?"
Wang Niu snapped back to reality, his expression growing serious as he said to Ruoxi and Feng Ju, "I just thought of a cult."
Ruoxi and Feng Ju were immediately taken aback, anxiously asking Wang Niu, "What cult?"

"Ghost Gate Cult?" Ruoxi and Feng Ju were stunned.
Wang Niu nodded at the two of them, prompting them to extend their hands.
Ruoxi and Feng Ju exchanged puzzled glances as they reached out. At that moment, Wang Niu also extended his hand, placing it over theirs.
Ruoxi and Feng Ju felt a jolt as if currents of electricity flowed through their hands.
This surprised both Feng Ju and Ruoxi. They exchanged glances, just about to ask Feng Ju something when suddenly they all froze.
Images began to flash in Feng Ju's mind, while similar visions appeared in Ruoxi's head—these were the images Wang Niu was transmitting to them.
Once Ruoxi and Feng Ju received the images, they turned their gazes toward Wang Niu.
"Wang Jun, is this the Ghost Gate Cult you mentioned earlier?" Ruoxi asked curiously.
Wang Niu replied to Ruoxi, "Yes, I suspect that the original Ghost Gate Cult was not completely eradicated. Think about it; if I can reincarnate and change my faction, why couldn't the Ghost Gate Cult? It seems like when the Ghost Gate Cult was destroyed, it wasn't thorough."
Ruoxi nodded at Wang Niu, recalling the scene from that time. She then found his reasoning plausible and said to him, "Wang Jun, you're right. However, what if it's not the Ghost Gate Cult but someone else?"
Wang Niu was momentarily taken aback by Ruoxi's words. Feng Ju, watching the two of them, felt a surge of anxiety because Xiaomei and the child's whereabouts were still unclear. If they continued to delay, Xiaomei and the child could be in danger.
Thus, Feng Ju said to both of them, "Let's not get caught up in this issue for now. We should head to Black Cliff; after all, that's where everything started."
Wang Niu and Ruoxi nodded in agreement with Feng Ju's suggestion. They soon arrived at Black Cliff. Once there, Ruoxi seemed to sense something and instructed Wang Niu and Wind Lord to hide nearby.
"What's wrong?" Wang Niu asked, looking at Ruoxi with confusion.
Ruoxi's expression turned tense as her gaze fixed ahead.
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned and also looked forward, saying to Ruoxi, "Ruoxi, are you mistaken? There's nothing there."
Ruoxi shook her head, while Feng Ju's expression grew serious. He said to Ruoxi, "I understand what you mean."
Just as Feng Ju finished speaking, strange dolls began to appear before them.
"What are these?" Wang Niu whispered.
Feng Ju furrowed his brow and said to them, "I know what these are. They were the ones who kidnapped Xiaomei and the baby."
Feng Ju's words immediately surprised Ruoxi and Wang Niu.
"What did you say? Are Xiaomei and the child really here?" Wang Niu looked at Feng Ju in astonishment.
Feng Ju nodded at Wang Niu.
"When Xiaomei and the baby went missing, I specifically took a look at the things in the dark mist and happened to see them. It was these beings that abducted the child and Xiaomei," Feng Ju's tone was filled with certainty, which made Wang Niu's expression grow serious. The entities before them were not easy to deal with.
These beings seemed to possess Dark Abyss.
The Dark Abyss was like a massive black hole, capable of devouring all power. Before they could eliminate those entities, their own strength had already been absorbed by the Dark Abyss emanating from them.
"We can't act rashly," Wang Niu said.
As soon as he spoke, both Feng Ju and Ruoxi felt a wave of surprise wash over them.
What should they do? If they couldn't handle these entities, they wouldn't be able to enter Black Cliff, and then they wouldn't be able to find Xiaomei and the others.
This thought made Feng Ju even more anxious.
"What should we do?" Feng Ju looked at Wang Niu with a worried expression.
Wang Niu's attention returned to the entities, while Ruoxi's expression remained tense. In fact, her worry only deepened.
"Wang Jun, how should we deal with these beings?" Ruoxi asked anxiously.

"Wang Jun, I think this method won't work," Feng Ju shook his head.
This left Wang Niu feeling puzzled. Why wouldn't it work?
He looked at Feng Ju, who nodded in response and explained, "Human flesh? Where are we supposed to get that? Besides, we can't just go around killing someone."
Wang Niu paused for a moment and asked Feng Ju, "Is that what you're worried about?"
Feng Ju nodded in agreement.
Suddenly, Wang Niu raised his left hand.
This action left Feng Ju and Ruoxi momentarily confused, unsure of Wang Niu's intent.
"Wang Jun, what do you mean by that?"
"Wang Niu explained to Ruoxi and Feng Ju, 'Look, isn't this human flesh in my hand?'
It was at that moment that Feng Ju and Ruoxi finally understood, but how could they use the flesh from Wang Niu to lure those creatures?
'No, that's not possible,' Ruoxi directly refused.
Wang Niu looked at Ruoxi in confusion; this was the best opportunity. Moreover, Feng Ju was also opposing him alongside Ruoxi, which left Wang Niu even more perplexed. 'Wang Jun, how could you harm yourself like this?' Ruoxi exclaimed angrily.
Wang Niu smiled lightly at Ruoxi and said, 'It's nothing; after all, my body is that of a mortal, and it serves a purpose.'
Feng Ju looked at Wang Niu with a complex expression and sighed. At that moment, Wang Niu picked up the piece of flesh from the ground and threw it towards the creatures ahead. Instantly, those beings began to move toward Wang Niu, leaving Ruoxi and Feng Ju in shock.
They watched as wisps of black mist appeared around Wang Niu's piece of flesh, as if some kind of spell had been cast upon it. This surprised Ruoxi greatly, prompting him to ask Wang Niu, 'Wang Jun, what happened to that meat?'"
Wang Niu's gaze was fixed on those creatures. "I’ve cast a spell on these, enhancing the aroma of the meat. This way, it will attract many things, and they will fight fiercely over the human flesh."
Wang Niu explained to Ruoxi.
Ruoxi finally understood. As soon as the piece of human flesh hit the ground, those creatures charged at them like wild beasts.
This left Ruoxi and Wang Niu momentarily stunned.
They hadn’t expected these creatures to be so ferocious.
Wang Niu took a deep breath and said to Ruoxi, "You see, if we had rushed in just now, we would have ended up like that piece of meat—terrifying."
Wang Niu's words made Ruoxi's heart tremble for a moment.
"Look!" At that moment, Feng Ju's excited voice came through, causing Ruoxi and Wang Niu to tense up. They turned their attention to the front; just moments ago there had been many creatures, but now half of them were gone.
Ruoxi took a deep breath and looked ahead. Feng Ju's expression was clearly not good either; he hadn’t anticipated the power of these creatures would be so great.
Wang Niu inhaled sharply; only two creatures remained now.
"Wang Jun, do you think these creatures will fight?" Ruoxi asked curiously, noticing that the two remaining creatures were each holding a piece of human flesh in their mouths.
It seemed they had each taken half, and if they exerted a bit more force, they could easily tear the meat apart.
Wang Niu shook his head. "I’m not sure."
Then, something strange happened with the two creatures in front of them; a red light glimmered in their eyes, accompanied by an unsettling aura.
Wang Niu and Ruoxi took a deep breath. In just a short while, they saw the two creatures fighting fiercely to the point of exhaustion.
At that moment, Feng Ju stepped forward, which startled Wang Niu. He felt a pang of worry; if these two creatures regained their strength, Feng Ju would be in danger.
"Feng Ju, don’t go!"
Wang Niu also stood up at the same time and walked over to Feng Ju, pulling him back just as the two creatures fell lifelessly to the ground.
Wang Niu couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief and said to Feng Ju, "Don't do that again. It's really too dangerous."
Feng Ju was taken aback for a moment, filled with guilt.
"I know. I'm just as anxious about Xiaomei and the others," Feng Ju sighed.
In truth, Wang Niu understood Feng Ju's feelings very well. He comfortingly patted Feng Ju on the shoulder and said, "It's okay. Xiaomei and the others will be fine."

Wang Niu and Feng Ju nodded in agreement with Ruoxi, and the three of them set off once more.
As they continued walking, a look of pain spread across their faces.
After a while, they suddenly stopped.
Wang Niu was panting heavily as he looked at Ruoxi and Feng Ju.
He noticed that their expressions of pain had intensified, which surprised him. He looked at Ruoxi and Feng Ju and asked, "Are you both alright?"
Feng Ju and Ruoxi shook their heads in response to Wang Niu. "We're fine; it's just a bit uncomfortable. I feel like the air here is somehow off."
Feng Ju's words left Ruoxi and Wang Niu momentarily stunned, and they looked at Feng Ju in confusion.
Wang Niu then asked Feng Ju, "What do you think the problem is?"
Feng Ju replied, "It seems that some Deadly Energy has been added to the air."
Upon hearing this, both Wang Niu and Ruoxi were puzzled. This made them even more curious about what kind of gas it was.
Wang Niu and Ruoxi shook their heads, appearing clueless.
Feng Ju sighed and continued, "In any case, this gas is harmful to us. If we want to continue living, we need to block these gases."
Wang Niu and Ruoxi felt a heavy atmosphere settle around them. Then, Wang Niu seemed to come up with an idea. He drew a protective shield in the air, and once the shield was in place, the expressions on the three of their faces improved significantly.
This made Wang Niu feel relieved. He took a deep breath and helped the other two up, then began to channel Divine Power into them.
Ruoxi and Feng Ju quickly stopped Wang Niu's actions. "Wang Jun, you can't do that."
"It's fine. You both looked really unwell just now. It's possible that you've absorbed a lot of this toxic energy. If you don't continue to replenish your Divine Power, it could be problematic."
After hearing this, Ruoxi and Feng Ju had no choice but to thank Wang Niu.
Then, Feng Ju took out three pills, which made both Wang Niu and Ruoxi feel curious.

Ruoxi and Feng Ju were momentarily stunned by the words they had just heard, seemingly pondering the question Wang Niu had posed.
After a moment, Ruoxi's expression shifted to one of surprise, and soon her face froze in astonishment.
Wang Niu looked at Ruoxi with confusion.
"Did you remember something?"
Upon hearing Wang Niu's question, Ruoxi nodded, her excitement growing, which made her heart race with anticipation.
Looking at Wang Niu, she said, "Wang Jun, you were right. This is indeed the aura of the Ghost Gate Cult. I can't believe the Ghost Gate Cult is still alive."
Wang Niu's expression suddenly turned serious, while Feng Ju observed the two of them. After a while, the dark clouds above them dissipated.
This left them filled with uncertainty.
"Why did the aura disappear?" Ruoxi's heart grew cautious.
Then Feng Ju glanced around, his expression relaxing.
"What’s wrong?" Wang Niu noticed Feng Ju's demeanor.
Feng Ju turned to Wang Niu and said, "I don't know if you felt it, but that aura we sensed earlier has vanished."
"What?" Wang Niu was taken aback.
Feng Ju retracted his protective shield and pointed at a fleeting Black Light before them. "Did you see that thing that just flashed by?"
Wang Niu fixed his gaze ahead after hearing those words, and suddenly, they felt a tremendous force rushing toward them.
This left the three of them momentarily stunned.
"Not good, it might be the Ghost Gate Cult coming," Wang Niu said directly.
Ruoxi and Feng Ju were taken aback for a moment, and then they were struck by the immense energy, causing both Wang Niu and Ruoxi to feel a sharp pain surge through them.
"Are you guys okay?" Feng Ju pulled them up, just as a mass of black mist appeared before them. The mist was enormous and was closing in around them.
Ruoxi froze in shock, while Wang Niu gasped in surprise. He immediately extended his hand to shield them, his heart trembling at the unexpected strength of the Ghost Gate Cult.
Then, the black mist surrounding them suddenly transformed into countless figures clad in black.
