The Demon King looked extremely surprised, while a glint of malice flashed in the eyes of the Second Demon Consort.

The Demon King nodded, a glint of calculation flashing in his eyes before the two vanished.
Bai Yu suddenly straightened up and looked back, while Wang Niu and Hundred King also noticed something was off with Bai Yu.
"Bai Yu, what's wrong?" Wang Niu asked her.
It seemed Bai Yu had realized something. She replied to Wang Niu, "I think I sensed something unusual. I felt a very familiar aura, and it seems to belong to the Demon King."
Wang Niu's eyes lit up upon hearing this. "So, you mean the Demon King is tracking us?"
Hundred King paused for a moment, his expression turning serious. If that were the case, they couldn't let the Demon King take advantage of them.

Bai Yu nodded, her expression grave as she glanced in the direction where the Demon King had been.
Wang Niu and Hundred King followed her gaze.
Wang Niu seemed to understand something and said to Bai Yu, "Could it be that the Demon King is right where we are now?"
As soon as she spoke, a chill ran through Wang Niu's heart.
Bai Yu nodded again and continued, "Besides the Demon King, there's also the aura of the Second Demon Consort."

Hundred King looked at her in bewilderment, while Wang Niu's gaze remained fixed on Bai Yu. Soon after, his attention shifted to the path Bai Yu was indicating.

Wang Niu and Hundred King's expressions suddenly turned to shock.
The Faint Demon Aura was harmful to people like them. Bai Yu understood this well; why would she still lead them there?
This left Wang Niu and Hundred King puzzled.
"Think about it: why are the Demon King and Second Demon Consort able to find us?"
Bai Yu suddenly asked them this question.
This left Wang Niu and the Demon King feeling puzzled. After a moment of serious thought, Wang Niu said to Bai Yu, "Is it because of the aura we carry?"

The creature stared at them with a cold gaze.
"You have quite the nerve," Hundred King said, glaring at the monster.
Suddenly, the creature emitted a strange sound.
"Everyone be careful; this monster is about to attack us."
As soon as he finished speaking, the creature in front of them suddenly became enraged and charged straight at Wang Niu.
In an instant, Wang Niu felt caught off guard.
The creature pounced on him, knocking him to the ground.
Wang Niu was alarmed; he felt something inside him rapidly flowing out. He took a deep breath and immediately felt a wave of weakness wash over him.
"Be careful."
Bai Yu's voice came through.
Wang Niu instinctively looked over.
Unexpectedly, at that moment, the monster suddenly opened its mouth wide and lunged at Wang Niu. Bai Yu's heart tightened, and he quickly pulled Wang Niu away. The monster missed its target, but this only enraged it further.
Noticing the monster's abnormal behavior, Bai Yu shouted to Hundred King, "Quick, eliminate the monster!"

Wang Niu took a deep breath and closed his eyes, hoping for the best.

With this reminder from Hundred King, Wang Niu and Bai Yu quickly came to their senses.
Bai Yu devised a plan and said to White King, "We can use this monster to deal with them. That way, we'll have time to escape."

Wang Niu took the monster from Hundred King's hands, and just then, the monster suddenly went completely still, as if it were dead. This made Wang Niu feel strange; could it be that the monster had already died?
Wang Niu placed his hand on the monster's body and saw a lot of white smoke rising from it.
Bai Yu looked on in confusion at everything happening.

This made Hundred King feel something unusual.

Hundred King looked at Wang Niu, while Bai Yu also felt puzzled.
"This is the Soul Binding Spell."
Bai Yu stared at Wang Niu in astonishment.
What she didn't expect was that Wang Niu could actually use this spell.
Wang Niu nodded and glanced at the monster, which was now completely obedient to their commands.

Wang Niu asked the monster.

White King looked at Wang Niu in disbelief.

Bai Yu just caught a glimpse of the scene in Hundred King's eyes. It seemed they needed to strike against Hundred King simultaneously.

With that, the three of them departed. Not long after they left, the Demon King and Second Demon Consort arrived at the same spot.

This monster was the one that Wang Niu had cursed earlier.
Suddenly, the creature grew significantly larger, its eyes revealing a fierce glint.

The Second Demon Consort seemed to sense something and spoke to the Demon King.

With that, the two began to confront the creature before them.
The monster was very cunning, constantly evading their attacks.
Meanwhile, Wang Niu and his companions had already started their meal near Toothless River.

Noticing the tension on Bai Yu's face, Wang Niu asked, while Hundred King turned his gaze toward Bai Yu as well. Bai Yu's expression had become very serious.
"There is danger here."
As Bai Yu's words fell, a strange sound suddenly echoed from all directions, causing the hearts of the three to tense up. They quickly hid in a secluded spot, and Bai Yu looked around, noticing that many ghosts had emerged nearby.
"What is happening here?"
Hundred King’s gaze turned sharp; this was not a place for ghosts to appear.
Bai Yu, feeling curious, shook his head at Hundred King and said, "I don't know either. Everything here seems strange, as if someone deliberately brought these things here."
In an instant, Wang Niu seemed to have thought of something, and his expression changed oddly.
Bai Yu observed Wang Niu in silence.
At that moment, Wang Niu turned to Hundred King. "White King, you need to handle this."
White King looked at Wang Niu with confusion.
Wang Niu explained to Hundred King, "These ghosts carry a certain aura that is identical to yours. However, the aura on you is in conflict with theirs. Only by infusing your aura into their bodies can they undergo a transformation."
At this point, Hundred King understood and nodded at Wang Niu before moving to confront the ghosts.

There stood Hundred King, suddenly surrounded by a group of menacing ghosts. The sight left Hundred King frozen in place as he seemed to realize something. He shouted at Wang Niu and Bai Yu, "Come save me!"
Unfortunately, neither Bai Yu nor Wang Niu had any intention of doing so.
In just a short while, the great king was devoured by this ghostly figure.
This left Wang Niu and Bai Yu feeling a sudden pang of worry.
"What on earth is so powerful?" Bai Yu looked at Wang Niu.
Wang Niu felt a heaviness in his heart, and there was a look of hesitation on his face, which made Bai Yu anxious.
"Speak up! You're going to drive me crazy like this."
Bai Yu sighed, feeling quite helpless. Only then did Wang Niu turn to him and say, "It's Ruoxi."
This left Bai Yu momentarily stunned, staring at Wang Niu in disbelief. "What do you mean? How could it possibly be Ruoxi?"
Wang Niu nodded at Bai Yu. Just as the two were discussing, suddenly, a woman's voice came through, and both of their attention snapped to the front.
At the same time, their expressions froze.
It really was Ruoxi.
After a brief moment, they instinctively exchanged glances, and it was at that moment they seemed to understand something. They struck towards the direction from which the woman's voice had come. Instantly, a scream echoed back, leaving Bai Yu and Wang Niu momentarily dumbfounded.
The force they directed at Ruoxi was completely absorbed by her.
Ruoxi's gaze turned towards them, locking onto Guo Lei. This caused Wang Niu's eyes to widen in shock as he stared in disbelief at what lay before him. At that moment, Ruoxi seemed like a different person altogether; her eyes were crimson, and she emanated an aura of dark energy.
"What happened to her?" Bai Yu asked, confused.
Wang Niu shook his head, and just then, Ruoxi charged towards them, exuding an aura of killing intent that left both Bai Yu and Wang Niu stunned.
"Be careful."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Wang Niu felt a wave of murderous energy rushing toward him, causing him to freeze in realization of something terrifying.
Ruoxi had already reached him.
At that moment, the sword in her hand pierced into his body.
A sharp pain shot through Wang Niu instantly, and his face turned pale. What was happening?
Wang Niu's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Ruoxi.
There was no expression on Ruoxi's face.
Wang Niu's body was suddenly overwhelmed with pain; he furrowed his brow as he stared at Ruoxi.
Ruoxi's expression remained calm as she pulled the sword out of Wang Niu. Instantly, a torrent of blood surged from his wound.
"Ruoxi, you..."
Wang Niu was rendered speechless.
"You deserve to die, and so does she."
Ruoxi's tone was icy as she looked at Wang Niu.
"Ruoxi, what's wrong with you?"
Wang Niu stared at Ruoxi in disbelief.
At that moment, Ruoxi seemed like a completely different person.
Her eyes were hollow, and taking advantage of this, Bai Yu swiftly pulled Wang Niu over and struck Ruoxi with a palm. Wang Niu was taken aback and hurriedly tried to stop Bai Yu, but it was too late; Bai Yu's hand had already struck towards Ruoxi, a beam of light shooting directly at her.
"Ruoxi, watch out!"
Ruoxi didn't have time to react and was hit by the light, crashing against the wall. In an instant, she fell to the ground.
Wang Niu felt a pang of pain in her heart and was about to rush over to help Ruoxi when she was held back by Bai Yu.
