Jono's strength was completely uncontrolled, and the bottle shattered instantly. The Fat Man clutched his head and toppled to the side.
Blood from his head splattered onto Jono's face and chest, instantly staining her white shirt red.
Jono immediately got up from the coffee table and instinctively took a few steps back, almost wanting to flee.
Inside the private room, the Fat Man's subordinates erupted into chaos, shouting to help him, while two men rushed forward to grab Jono, preventing her from escaping.
"Boss, are you okay?" one of the subordinates asked anxiously while supporting the Fat Man.
The Fat Man was momentarily dazed; everything around him had turned a deep crimson from the blood. Yet he could still see the person who had just hit him!
"Let go of me!" Jono struggled as she watched the Fat Man approach with a fierce expression. She knew this situation had escalated, and there was no way she could easily escape today!
She fought desperately, trying to break free from the grip of the two men who were twice her size and strength. In the face of fear, one often discovers boundless potential.
In the midst of her struggle, the Fat Man had already reached Jono and slapped her hard across the face, making stars dance in her vision.
"Damn it, how dare you hit me? You'll regret it today!" The Fat Man said fiercely while clutching his head.
Jono was still in a daze from the slap, her mind clouded.
"I'll show you what happens when you go against me!" The Fat Man shouted at his subordinates and the princess in the room.
He couldn't afford to lose face in front of these people; being struck by a waitress would ruin his reputation!
"Everyone, get over here!" The Fat Man pointed at his subordinates. "You better show some respect; now serve my men!"
Jono's mind was in a haze as she heard the man's words. What did he mean? There were so many men here, and he wanted them to...
"Let me go! What you're doing is illegal! I can report you!" Jono struggled desperately, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free. "Please, someone help me! You can't let them do this to me... We work together..."
After her attempts to escape failed, Jono turned once more to the princesses for help, but no one paid her any attention; they only looked at her with pity.
A few men approached her and suddenly tore open her shirt, causing a chill to wash over her chest...
No, this can't be happening!
Jono cried out for help, struggling with all her might. Exhausted, she felt like a rag doll tossed onto the sofa as several men closed in on her...
She was in despair. What could she do?
Just as they were about to pull down her pants, the door to the private room was flung open from the outside. A group of men in black suits rushed in and swiftly subdued those inside before they even had a chance to react.
In the midst of the chaos, Jono caught a clear glimpse of Jin Chengyan's face.
The light from outside illuminated him, making him appear like a hero descending from the clouds!
"Who the hell are you..."
Before the fat man could finish his sentence, one of Jin Chengyan's men seized his arm and pinned him down onto the coffee table with such speed that no one saw how it happened.
Everyone in the room was quickly controlled by Jin Chengyan's team, while Jono lay helplessly on the sofa.
Alice watched her boss standing at the door without any intention of moving forward and took it upon herself to approach Jono.
However, Jin Chengyan was quicker. He removed his suit jacket and walked over to Jono, half-lifting her up and wrapping his jacket around her shoulders while gently brushing aside her disheveled hair.
"Look at you, insisting on doing something so thankless," Jin Chengyan's reproachful voice reached Jono's ears, causing her to break down instantly.
Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.
No one had ever cried so ungracefully in front of Jin Chengyan, so recklessly. He seemed to have no other choice but to gently pat her shoulder.
Jono was truly frightened; if Jin Chengyan hadn't come, she would have been... At this thought, she threw herself into Jin Chengyan's arms, holding him tightly!
Jin Chengyan was taken aback, looking down at the young girl in his embrace. She clung to him as if she had found a piece of driftwood in the ocean, refusing to let go and carelessly wiping her snot and tears on his expensive shirt.
"Can you take me away from here..." Jono's voice was low.
"Okay." Jin Chengyan nodded, but he knew he still had to deal with the mess in the room.
He grasped Jono's hand, trying to get her to loosen her grip; otherwise, he really couldn't move. However, Jono refused to let go.
"Be good, just loosen your grip for now. I need to finish dealing with these people before I can take you away."
His words seemed to have a calming effect. Jono obediently released her hold and curled up on the sofa, watching how this man who had come out of nowhere helped her vent her frustrations.
